About: I grew up in a dog loving household, and as the oldest child, had a very helping hand in the care and training of our dogs. We now have a Goldendoodle named Truman who lives full time with my parents, but loves to come for lengthy visits when they travel. My boyfriend and I have a dog together - Nala - who is a sweet Shepsky mix. She can be an anxious girl, and doesn’t always love other dogs, so I have gained a lot of experience in helping her get comfortable around strangers. I also have experience with all ages of both cats and dogs (big and small). Entrusting me with your pet means that they will safely receive cuddles and playtime and you will receive lots of pictures and updates. I am a nurse by day, but have been cutting back on my hours. About: As someone who has an unhealthy obsession with her own dog, I understand how important it is to know your dog is being taken care of while you're gone. I have spent a ton of time scouring Rover and going to meet and greets trying to find the right person for my needs and finally decided that I'd help do my part to make the search easier for others in my shoes by opening my home in West End to pups while their parents are away! Being raised with dogs, bunnies, birds, and even a chinchilla, animals have always played an important role in my life. About: I have had cats all of my life, including starys that I adopted, and all have lived long, healthy lives. I am able to administer medications and even did shots for a diabetic cat. She usually has 2-5 indoor cats and also cares for several outdoor stary cats. She often finds them homes too. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I have been a dog mom for over six years now and ever since I got my Louie (male Yorkie) I’ve cared for puppies of all ages. I can administer medication and provide a safe and loving environment. In my home the babies are aloud on furniture and will have a fenced backyard to play. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

About: Hi! I’m Lexie, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to my German Shepherd, Bella. I’m extremely selective about who I trust with her, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your dog like family. I’ll give your pup the same love, patience, attention, and care I give Bella. Any questions or concerns send me a message 💌 I’m a singer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Since my work isn’t a traditional 9-to-5, I’m able to easily fit walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pup into my day. I also plan ahead for studio sessions and other commitments, so your dog will always receive dependable, unrushed care and attention. I live in a clean, comfortable townhouse apartment where pets are treated like part of the family. Although I don’t have a private yard, there is a park and walking path right next door for frequent potty breaks, exercise, and outdoor time. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any safety instructions provided by their owner. I also have a very friendly German Shepherd named Bella, so boarding pets should be comfortable around other dogs. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and gets along well!
