About: Since I was young I’ve been raised around cats and dogs (12 to be exact), loving animals is a lifetime commitment to me! Whenever my parents would go out of town, I would be in charge of keeping the house safe and our pets. This includes the typical responsibilities as well as providing medical care to our older pets, diabetes shots daily, hip and joint treats with every dinner, even temporary medicines after small procedures. Since I was young, my mother and I were a part of a nonprofit organization run by her best friend called pawsitive difference in Las Vegas, this entailed, not only volunteering at adoption meets, but also even as far as picking up strays off the street taking them to get medical care and fostering until we found them homes. I’ve loved every pet I’ve had temporarily and long-term, along with all the ones I’ve yet to meet! As far as my experience goes, I’ve pet sit for my own as well as friends of the family and for other great dog sitters. I’m doing this until I get my own dog just because I miss having one in the house since moving and I would love nothing more to help your fur babies in any way I can! I’m currently always home taking care of house day-to-day errands until I start hair school in a few months so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I live in suburban neighborhood of mostly families, which is great for walking dogs and lots of grass to play in. I do like to walk with a leash just for safety purposes, even if your pets are trained to not need one to prevent any unnecessary issues. I do have a friendly very old cat, but she mostly stays in my roommates bedroom sleeping the day away, so there won’t be much contact with her and your pet will have my full attention!

About: I’m Lorie, a former doggie foster mom who ended up adopting and raising 3 wonderful dogs, all of whom are now angel pets. I currently have a 17 y/o cat who is used to being around dogs. I have been dog sitting on Rover since spring 2023. I have a real heart for animals, and in my care your dog will be treated exactly the way mine were—like family. I have been a homeowner in the Bellevue area for 25 years, and am also a small business owner in the community. I live within walking distance of the Harpeth River Greenway and can take long walks with the dogs on nice days. Alternatively, I live on a quiet corner with a dead-end street on one side that is a great place to walk as well. I often work from home, and on the days I work away from home, I'm typically only out for a few hours at a time. I have crates if needed, dog beds, and bowls of varying sizes at my home; I only need you to bring your dog’s food and any special items like supplements or a special lovey that you’d like them to have. My yard is not fenced, so I ALWAYS use leashes and/or harnesses, no matter what. I live on a quiet, safe street in a neighborhood with a lot of walkers and bicyclers.

About: Have had pets most of my life. Had a Boston Terrier that walked 5+ miles a day. Have walked friends Boxers, doxies, Scottish Terriers and a coonhound mix. I work from home and have flexibility. If there’s a set time that your dog is used to walking, I will do my best to stick to their routine. We will need to discuss your pets habits & how/if I can be a fit for their habits. Typically will walk 30 minutes or let out back, clean up after them & let them back inside. And if crated, place them back in their crate.
About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. Whether it's for a few minutes, a few days, or even a few weeks, I would love to spoil your pet(s) with lots of hugs,and kisses. About: I’ve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first childhood pet was a sweet dachshund named Greta. In my adulthood, I have been caring for my own pets for the past 26 years. We love to have our dogs Bertie and Chester near us wherever we are, indoors and outdoors. More recently, we have welcomed two incredible cats, Belle and Zesty, into our family as well. In my experience, having pets truly makes life better. I would welcome spending time with your pet, whether in your home or out on a walk, and would care for them as I would one of the pets in my own family. I am comfortable caring for active pets as well as seniors who are moving a little slower these days. I am taking some sabbatical time away from my full-time profession, so I have lots of time and energy available to care for your furry friends (as well as my own dogs and cats). I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. I have two orthopedic beds that are cleaned thoroughly after each stay and two dog bowls.

About: I have had pets all my life. I have 2 dogs and 1 cats they get a long with all their pet friends. We have regulars that come over for the holidays and vacations. My home is open to all pets no restrictions. We like to make it feel like home when they are here. I work from home so there is lots of love thru out the day and play time outside. We have a dog door so they can go outside when they want and come in when wanting to hang out in the A/C. Also there is a pool for pups to swim and have fun if they want. I am so super flexible with times and making it easier on everyone.

About: Since I was young I’ve been raised around cats and dogs (12 to be exact), loving animals is a lifetime commitment to me! Whenever my parents would go out of town, I would be in charge of keeping the house safe and our pets. This includes the typical responsibilities as well as providing medical care to our older pets, diabetes shots daily, hip and joint treats with every dinner, even temporary medicines after small procedures. Since I was young, my mother and I were a part of a nonprofit organization run by her best friend called pawsitive difference in Las Vegas, this entailed, not only volunteering at adoption meets, but also even as far as picking up strays off the street taking them to get medical care and fostering until we found them homes. I’ve loved every pet I’ve had temporarily and long-term, along with all the ones I’ve yet to meet! As far as my experience goes, I’ve pet sit for my own as well as friends of the family and for other great dog sitters. I’m doing this until I get my own dog just because I miss having one in the house since moving and I would love nothing more to help your fur babies in any way I can! I’m currently always home taking care of house day-to-day errands until I start hair school in a few months so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I live in suburban neighborhood of mostly families, which is great for walking dogs and lots of grass to play in. I do like to walk with a leash just for safety purposes, even if your pets are trained to not need one to prevent any unnecessary issues. I do have a friendly very old cat, but she mostly stays in my roommates bedroom sleeping the day away, so there won’t be much contact with her and your pet will have my full attention!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for well over 10 years now. I have 1 dog that is a rescue, so I have experience with working with reactive, timid dogs. Growing up, I also had a dog with severe diabetes, so I am familiar with administering insulin shots as well. I work hybrid-remote, so the days I’ve listed as available for walks and drop-ins are super flexible and I’m happy to coordinate with customers to find the best times that fit their dog’s needs! I love it when pet owners leave me notes on the specific things their pets might need! About: I grew up in a home with a big furry dog brother and two cats. I have always leaned more on the animal lover side than anything else, and now I have four of my own (two dogs, two cats, all spoiled and loved). My life revolves around my pets. About: Huge animal and dog lover with a baby of my own wanting to help out other families when they need and ease there mind that their dog well taken care of I work hybrid currently and i am in the office only 2 days a week and home from wed-monday with an east schedule to make sure your fur baby stays in their routine I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like part of the family. I live in a house with a fenced patio and plenty of areas for dogs to play, explore, and get exercise. I make sure each pet receives lots of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and plenty of cuddles while following their normal feeding and care routine. About: I'm newly home all day and want to help out folks who need someone who will truly care for their furry friend. I'm a dog lover and have two rescued doodles. They are both dog, cat, and kid friendly and can't wait to make new friends! My dogs get one walk a day, plus potty breaks in our yard, as needed. This is how I take care of our Rover friends, too.
