About: Our oldest Yorkshire had pups, unexpectedly 6. It was hard to give them away to just anyone we had to vet each potential owner. It took several years, but for that time duration I had the pleasure to care for 6-7 pets at once. This involve organized feed time, walks, and clean up. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I'm a dog trainer first, sitter second. I've cared for dogs since getting my own three years ago, self-taught through hands-on trial and error. My American Bulldog and I walk off-leash through downtown Nashville daily — strangers stop to compliment his manners. I keep a crate on hand, though I prefer clients bring their own for their dog's comfort. About: My fiancé, Martha, and I both came from dog families and have had various breeds our whole lives! Despite my best efforts to not be a “cat person” too, they have always gravitated toward me and eventually wore me down so I’m a sucker for a cat purr now too. About: 16 years of experience — I’ll keep your lil nugget spoiled, fed, and safe, with calm care, attention, and everything they need while you’re away. I come home on my lunch break, and the neighborhood is great for relaxed, scenic walks. I make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and have everything they need. The neighborhood is very dog-friendly, with nearby parks and plenty of space for fresh air, sniffing, and happy little breaks. We’ll enjoy our time outside.
