About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. About: I have been a dog mom for over six years now and ever since I got my Louie (male Yorkie) I’ve cared for puppies of all ages. I can administer medication and provide a safe and loving environment. In my home the babies are aloud on furniture and will have a fenced backyard to play. P.S.: I can only care for small/medium dogs. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule. I’m able to give them lots of attention and keep them safe and happy alongside my fur baby boy! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: Hello, my name is Alyssa. I have been a fur mom for over 20 years and I truly love spending time with dogs. I rescued my baby Caico at 8 weeks from Turks and Caicos. Some call me the dog whisperer but I credit my dog attraction success by understanding that “it’s the dogs world and I’m just living in it”. I’m currently working from home! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. If your pooch boards with me, I do love puppy cuddles in bed or on their own couch. I offer extended stays as well. Dogs come first in my home. I’m always excited to take dogs on a hike, walk or puppy play date. I live in a dog friendly community with access to a fenced dog park. I do prefer walking in the park or on a good trail. About: Ever since I was little I’ve always had special bonds with dogs, more than I have with some humans. I’ve always wanted to help care for them as young as 5 years old. In more recent years, I have dog sat over night, over long weeks and just for walks and play time. My mom jokes that all dogs love me because they see a play mate in me, but I do know when to lay down the law. Currently I work remotely, and have few meetings throughout the day. I live alone - without any dogs of my own. I like to go for a walk a day myself, rain or shine, to get my blood moving. I love having human or dog friends join me! My number one concern is safety for the animals. If I’m babysitting a dog, I do like to have a discussion with my client to know the dogs needs, how they react to new people and dogs, and what I can do to best make the dog feel loved and cared for. I like to know their routines because animals do have a set routine. I believe communication and respect go a very long way for any relationship. Meeting the animals is a special moment as well as meeting their humans. I want to learn as much about the dog and human as possible before being alone with the animals. For cats, I do love cuddling or giving them their space, or even play time! Cats have their routines and needs just as much as dogs do, and I want to respect their boundaries as much as possible.

About: Since I was a child, I’ve been around many different kinds of pets. I grew up with great danes in the house, as well as multiple cats and other small rodents. Now my family owns a very happy doodle named Griffon. I grew up watching my family’s dogs as well as other dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Currently I live in Nashville with my 6 year old beagle named Emmy. I love all kinds of animals and would love to meet your furbaby! I’m currently taking care of the home full time so I can be as attentive as needed with your pet! I normally walk Emmy three times a day, making sure at least one walk is a long walk through a park so she gets a lot of good smells and mental stimulation. Since I live in an apartment downtown, I try to take my dog out as much as possible so she doesn’t feel like she’s stuck inside all day. For this reason I don’t do overnight stays at my apartment, but I would be more than willing to house sit for someone’s animal. I always make sure the pet in the home is adequately taken care of to their energy level, I used to take my families dog on runs with me if he seemed bored.
