I have a flexible schedule and enjoy staying active, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship for your dog. Long walks are one of my favorite activities, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. About: I'm a dog lover with two miniature dachshunds who loves caring for other small dogs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I started pet sitting because I genuinely enjoy having extra puppy friends around. I only take one small dog at a time, so every guest gets lots of one-on-one attention in a calm, relaxed home environment. I’m a PhD student who works primarily from home, so your pup will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and playtime throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide daycare and overnight boarding on both weekdays and weekends. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so every guest gets the care, love, and attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have two friendly miniature dachshunds, Kiki and Lulu, who love other small dogs. To create a calm and safe environment, I only accept small breeds. Every dog is introduced slowly, supervised during play, and given their own space if they need a break. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, potty breaks, medications, and bedtime, and I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is having a great time.

“Sabrina was amazing to our three kitties!!! She gave such detailed reports and sent so many cute photos! She even went an extra day last minute to check on them. I will absolutely use her for any future trips! Such a sweet cat caretaker 🥰🥰”

“Robin is a true cat whisperer. We felt so comfortable for Robin to care for our two kitties. She brought them toys, played with them, is very kind and loving, and was an overall great caretaker. Our cats are very time sensitive with their meals and Robin was on time early in the morning and early evening. They greeted her at the door and looked forward to her visits. Robin also was meticulous about keeping their food areas and litterbox clean. I recommend Robin as a cat or dog caretaker for any occasion. Robin loves animals and is our number one choice for kitty care. Our kitties love Robin! I have never had such a great caretaker.”

About: I’m a lifelong cat lover and proud cat mom to three cats of my own, all of whom I’ve raised since they were kittens! They truly have my whole heart! Because I have this experience with cats of different personalities, ages, and needs, I understand that every cat is unique. As a cat owner myself, I know how stressful and scary it can be to leave your pets behind. I’ve used Rover for my own cats and have been so lucky to find wonderful sitters, which inspired me to provide that same peace of mind to other cat parents. I’m experienced with daily cat care, including feeding, litter box maintenance (a little too experienced 🤣), administering oral and transdermal medications, and nail trimming. Whether your cat is social and playful or shy and reserved, I’m more than happy to provide patient care and plenty of love while you’re away 💛
“Whitney was incredible! We had her check in for daily visits with our cat Kirby while we were out of the country for two weeks, and she was dependable and timely, providing pictures and a written update each time she came. She even watered our plants for us. She was responsive, kind, prompt, and professional.”

“I have a very skiddish cat so for me to leave her with Hannah and know my cat was comfortable enough to come out and get some attention while I was gone was very reassuring! My cat was well fed and well loved while I was traveling and I'm very appreciate to know I can trust Hannah to do it again!”

“Ellen is my go-to Rover whenever I have to go out of town. My kitties love her and she always takes the time and effort to capture many great photos and leaves a thorough visit summary. Highly recommend!”

“Piper was amazing with my nala! She sat with her and cuddled with her all the time. She cleaned her food/water bowls and also her litter box! In addition to this she tidied up my living room and vacuumed the upstairs without me asking! Definitely recommend her for your next trip!”

“Leah was one of the best sitters I have used extremely easy to communicate with, sent at least pictures to me every single day and navigated a complex apartment extremely well. For those in downtown Nashville area she is the real deal!”

“Juliet was great with my cat Mustard and really helped me out by checking on her while I was out of town for Thanksgiving! She did a meet and greet beforehand and was great with communication. She provided updates on food, litter, and playtime after each visit. I definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Elizabeth was awesome with my kitty and puppy! She was so thorough at the meet and greet, followed all my instructions, sent me awesome pictures and videos, and went above and beyond. Will 100% be booking with her for all my out of town visits.”

“Chris went above and beyond to make sure Betty was loved while I was away for the holidays. He spoiled her with treats, playtime, and plenty of pets. Definitely someone you can count on loving your pets like their own.”

About: I am very diligent in safeguarding the pets in my care. I am kind and affectionate and I will respect your rules. I have been a pet owner for over 25 years. I have also been involved in caring for and rescuing many pets over the years. This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is a-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.
“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Daria is literally the BEST when it comes to someone watching your pup. I have a brand new puppy (now 3 months old) and work 12 hours shifts. Daria was always willing to be up early to let me drop off Mack on the way into work and grab her on my way back from work. I genuinely felt like Daria loved Mack as her own and always felt as ease when Mack was with her. She sent me plenty of pictures throughout the day and now Mack has a new best friend, Boone. Thank you Daria :)”

About: Pets have always been a central part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have cared for them over the years, and I’ve had cats my whole life. I know how to read their behavior, keep routines consistent, and make sure your pet feels at ease whether you’re gone for a few hours or a few days. I work full time but I have plenty of flexibility to take care of your pet! I go into the office 3 times a week but I am off work by 3:30pm. I can do early mornings, late nights and weekends! I come to your home, so your pet gets to stay exactly where they’re most comfortable — in their own space, with their own smells, routines, and hiding spots. I follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, litter box preferences, or which spots are off-limits. I’ll always send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Taylor is amazing!!! She genuinely cared for Jackson. He was really sad when we left and she made him feel loved. When we returned, we could tell he had a great time with Taylor. We knew he trusted her when Taylor sent a picture of Jackson napping and he was lying upside down. He only does that when he trusts people. We will definitely reach out to Taylor again for day care.”

“Khyati was wonderful to deal with. Very flexible with drop off and pickup times. Rodeo thoroughly enjoyed speaking time with her and her 2 dogs :) Will definitely be using Khyati again.”

About: Hi! While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. From fostering a senior chihuahua to caring for 150 pound mastiffs, I have a wide variety of experience. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having someone you trust to take care of your pet. I’m a huge animal lover and truly love nothing more than snuggling up with a cat or dog on the couch. I love sending photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m a teacher so I’m extremely flexible during the summer. During the school year I do work 7am-3pm so your pet would have to be okay being alone for at least 8 hours. My weekends are low key so I’m able to provide much more undivided attention to your pet. I stay in homes for pet sitting as well as board dogs (dogs only) in my home. If your dog stays with me, I have a large fenced in back yard and very sweet 6 year old golden retriever to keep your pup company. I have two roommates that love pets as well. Your pup is also welcome to sleep with me as that’s what mine typically does. I live near a park and typically take my dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in the evenings and would gladly take your dog for as much or as little of that as you prefer. If I stay in your home, my dog will he cared for by my roommates and I will provide your animals preferred routine.
“Highly recommend Juliet for anyone who is looking for a fun, smart and caring dog walker. Juliet just completed a multiple times per day assignment over almost a week and was prompt, communicative and a pleasure to get to know. We're looking forward to seeing her again soon!”

I come home on my lunch break, and the neighborhood is great for relaxed, scenic walks. I make sure pets are comfortable, cared for, and have everything they need. The neighborhood is very dog-friendly, with nearby parks and plenty of space for fresh air, sniffing, and happy little breaks. We’ll enjoy our time outside.
“Super friendly, frequent updates, and able to handle strong pets! This was my first time letting my American Bully XL go stay at someone’s place. She is very alpha female when it comes to other dogs so I was clear of my concerns and he ensured it wouldn’t be a problem! Highly recommend!”

“Great communication. Justin did a great job watching Koda and sent photos of how he was doing. 5/5 would definitely recommend him if you’re looking for someone to watch your pup.”

About: Hi! I’m Reganne, and I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years. Growing up, I regularly watched our neighbors’ four dogs—including a Boxer, Yorkie, Puggle, and mixed breed—so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Today I’m a proud Labrador mom myself, so I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will care for them like their own. I’ve experienced everything from puppy energy to medications, post-surgery recovery, and giving lots of extra love to anxious pups. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply curling up on the couch for cuddles, I’m happy to tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I’ll also send plenty of photo and video updates because I know that’s what I’d want if someone were watching my own dog! My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is safe, loved, and having a great time. I work full-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to come home throughout the day. Your pup will never be left alone for more than about 4 hours at a time. Before work, we’ll start the day with a walk, potty break, breakfast (if needed), and some playtime. I’ll come home midday for another potty break, exercise, and plenty of attention before returning home after work for the evening. My goal is to keep your dog’s routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I know firsthand how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable from the moment we meet. I’ll follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s medications, feeding schedules, crate training, favorite toys, or sleeping arrangements. I keep a clean, calm, pet-friendly home and believe communication is just as important as great care. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, so you’ll always know your best friend is safe, happy, and loved.
