Due to being a non-neuter I was worried I’d have to cancel (very limiting options). Jonathan was so kind and understanding, and had no problem watching Reggie and Mango. They stayed for one week, came home in the same health, and very tired. Jonathan has a very nice, natural fenced in yard and he’s also super knowledgeable about dog training. About: I grew up with a family dog who was a shih tzu and poodle mix. Now, I work with furry friends of all types: from those who need a little extra attention to the most easygoing pets! Does your pet need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I've dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! Senior dogs struggling with incontinence? I'm here to help. Currently, I offer house sitting (taking out trash, plant care, etc), drop ins, pet sitting (2-3 walks, medicine if applicable, feeding, play time), pet walks, and feeding. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings and am available most holidays and weekends. I offer pet sitting in my client's home to keep pets in the environment where they feel safest. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

About: Ever since I was little I’ve always had special bonds with dogs, more than I have with some humans. I’ve always wanted to help care for them as young as 5 years old. In more recent years, I have dog sat over night, over long weeks and just for walks and play time. My mom jokes that all dogs love me because they see a play mate in me, but I do know when to lay down the law. Currently I work remotely, and have few meetings throughout the day. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. About: Hi, my name is Sophia! I’m a proud owner of a 11 year old Jack Russel/Staffy mix named Liam! He’s typically shy with other dogs at first but opens up after a good few sniffs. I also have two cats named Emilio and Antonio. They want to be friends with Liam so badly but he hilariously ignores their affections. I have enjoyed working with animals most of my life and I’m experienced with dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and snakes. Having worked at a veterinary clinic all through high school, I then volunteered at the local animal shelter throughout college. What truly sets me apart is the combination of responsibility and genuine love behind everything I do which helps pets feel comfortable, understood, and cared for every moment they are with me. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already build my days around structure and responsibility as a Lipscomb student. My class schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for regular walks, feeding times, play breaks, and check ins. I enjoy starting my mornings with movement, so taking pets out early fits perfectly. I also have long breaks between classes which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. On weekends I am even more available, so I can focus fully on longer walks, outings, and extra attention. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so it feels like a natural and fulfilling part of my everyday routine. I live in an apartment that is clean, comfortable, and set up to be a safe space for pets. When caring for pets in my home I follow whatever routines they are used to, keep their environment calm, and make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I am mindful of their comfort and always keep their feeding, crate, and potty schedules consistent with what they know. When I am caring for pets in a client’s home I make sure to respect their space and follow their established routines exactly. I keep everything clean, stick to the instructions you provide, and give your pet the same level of love and attention they would get if you were home. Whether I am in my own apartment or in your home my focus is always on making your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for.

About: I've grown up with dogs throughout my entire life. From chihuahuas, to golden retrievers, to rescues I have had experience with a myriad of different dog breeds and personalities! On top of caring for, walking, and playing with the dogs my family owned, one of my earliest jobs was dog-sitting neighborhood dogs when their families were out of town. You can count on me to provide the same high quality care to your dogs that I would provide to my own. I am a current medical student in Nashville. As a result, most of my availability will fall on the weekends! My availability on Fridays would start around 6:30 pm and I can go to any time on Sunday. I will always respect your house rules and items when caring for your pets at your home. I will also respect and reinforce the way in which you have trained your pets (crate training, meal times, etc). I will always care for your pet to a high level of detail, making sure they have sufficient walks, making sure to clean up any mess they make, and making sure all of their needs are met!

They sent a bunch of updates and pictures and were really flexible around drop off and pick up times which is always nice. The kids came by to say goodbye to Lacey on my way out when I picked her up, which was incredibly cute. Would happily drop lacey off with Ritch in the future!”

“Just wonderful! I have a rescue dog who has yet to be neutered due to health problems when an impromptu vacation came up. Due to being a non-neuter I was worried I’d have to cancel (very limiting options). Jonathan was so kind and understanding, and had no problem watching Reggie and Mango. They stayed for one week, came home in the same health, and very tired. Jonathan has a very nice, natural fenced in yard and he’s also super knowledgeable about dog training. I couldn’t recommended him more :)”
