They cared for our dog, Ladybird, and our cat, Frida, for five whole months while we moved across the country. That alone deserves a standing ovation. But what really blew us away was how they did it. We hadn’t even arrived in our new city when they met our pets at the airport—like long-lost family—then brought them straight into their home. From day one, Ladybird and Frida were treated like their own children, lavished with love, attention, and the kind of kindness you can’t fake. I got photo updates all the time (the kind that make you grin and maybe tear up a little), and not once—not once—did I worry. It was as if our pets had been adopted by the best neighbors you could imagine, except with way more snuggles. “Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: I have been an animal lover since I was a young kid. Growing up, we had a range of pets from multiple dogs, chickens, goats, birds, snakes, and more. I do workin disaster management so a disaster in TN could impact that but wouldn't impede me from being able to come by a few times a day or stay the night. I typically like the animals to just be comfy. Love giving treats and snuggling at night if they are allowed. I tend to like to be silly with the pups and sweet and calm with the kitties. It really just depends on the babies demeanor.

I work part time everyday except Friday and Sunday. My hours are 2-6pm on M-W, 1-6pm on Thursday, and 12-6pm on Saturday. I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I have a cat who I spoil. He gets the best food, nonstop snuggles, plenty of play time, and he loves his heated bed. I spend a lot of time with my friend’s dog who is a rescue with a severe history of abuse. I had to ignore this dog for three years for her to trust me. I went at her pace and never tried to force anything. Now I’m one of the only people she trusts. I’m very good at reading animals and understanding what they need and want.

They cared for our dog, Ladybird, and our cat, Frida, for five whole months while we moved across the country. That alone deserves a standing ovation. But what really blew us away was how they did it. We hadn’t even arrived in our new city when they met our pets at the airport—like long-lost family—then brought them straight into their home. From day one, Ladybird and Frida were treated like their own children, lavished with love, attention, and the kind of kindness you can’t fake. About: I absolutely love animals! My mom calls me the animal whisperer because every animal l meet loves me just as much. I believe it's because they know I'm a good person and they can trust me. Either way, your animal will be loved and looked after until their fur mom and fur dad gets home. I'm available all week 😄 you just let me know when you need me and I will be there for you and your fur babies ❤️ Unless the owner has a special way to care for their fur babies, then I just go with the flow. I do whatever makes their fur babies happy and have a great day while in my care.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and my pit bull, Tyson, recently crossed the rainbow bridge after 14 amazing years by my side. Loving and caring for him taught me just how much our dogs become family and how important it is to trust the person caring for them. In addition to caring for my own dog, I have also spent time working in rescue and in boarding/grooming environments, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and comfort levels. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, strong personalities, and dogs who may need a little extra patience, understanding, or one-on-one attention. Friends and family have trusted me with their dogs over the years, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m very particular about who I would trust with my own dog, so my top priority is making sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I work from home full-time, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, companionship, and a consistent routine. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches outside of normal errands or the occasional trip to the gym, and will have plenty of attention, supervision, and time to settle comfortably into a home environment. If I have any plans that would keep me away longer than usual or mandatory work meetings in office, I’ll always communicate that ahead of time. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a large fenced yard with added dig-defense around the perimeter for larger gaps, a gated deck for an extra layer of security, and dogs are never left unattended outdoors. I only host one household at a time, which allows me to provide calm, individualized care in a peaceful environment without the stress of unfamiliar dogs. Inside, I have gates and flexible setup options if your dog prefers structure or a routine similar to home.
