Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. On a typical day, we take dogs for a walk on the quiet neighborhood streets, on the trails in Shelby Bottoms, or in the dog park (if they are up for it). On weekends, we like to take a longer walk on trails whenever we can, and have plenty of cozy downtime at home in between. Given our own dog's separation anxiety, someone is always at home. About: I have worked with animals for the past 19 years. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in animal science and have worked with many different species from young to old. About: My husband and I are both lifelong dog lovers. We live with our 10-year-old Blue Heeler, Duke in East Nashville. Our home features a dog-friendly yard with dog door access, a walkable neighborhood, and lots of space for your pup to relax. We are both remote workers so we spend a vast majority of time at home with our dog. Your dog would not lack company and would have plenty of playtime. Your pet would receive the same level of care that our own dog receives with a minimum 2 walks a day and unlimited outdoor time.
