“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

About: Growing up, I was surrounded with pets and dogs of all breeds. I love all dogs and am currently raising my own Aussie Doodle who loves to have puppy friends around! Being a Dog Mom isn’t easy by any means, but I fully potty and house trained my pup Mocha. I work full time from home so I’m available all day to take care of any pet that stays with us. I also love being active, my own pup and I love to go on walks around the neighborhood & at centennial park! I work full time from home & I’m always available to tend to a pup’s needs. I can take pups for a walk in the morning + evening (avoiding the hot TN sun as much as possible!) as we live very close to Belmont & Centennial Park, with lots of space for pups to roam and explore! I have plenty of space for dogs to run and play around my house. Fair warning, our house does have a lot of stairs which may be more difficult on an older pup’s joints! For high energy and excited puppies, the stairs are great to get some exercise in if it’s too hot to go outside! I also always have lick mats or mental enrichment games on hand to keep a pup engaged throughout the day.

About: I love dogs!!! I’ve been a dog mom to Rocco, my senior rescue, for 5 years now. He is the sweetest, most affectionate, most social baby on the planet :) Being a dog mom has been the greatest joy of my life. We started Rover dog sitting in 2023, and we absolutely LOVE it!!! I’m home pretty much all day so I’m available most of the time to be with your dog. I sometimes check on other dogs and cats in the neighborhood, I might be gone for 30-60 mins. I do have a senior dog, he is pretty low energy at this point. So if you have a dog that can match his energy, and wants to couch snuggle with us, then this will be a great fit for you! My intention for caring for dogs is peace, harmony, safety, and love :) We take multiple dogs at a time, so if this is comfortable for you then yay! We’re looking to care for calm, quiet, peaceful, properly socialized, and well-behaved dogs :) We prefer dogs above 2 years old :) Drop-off times are between 7:30am and 8pm. Pick-up times are between 8:30am and 10pm. Thank you for understanding! I can also do pickups and drop offs if needed! I know how important it is that your pup feel loved, safe, and comfortable while their parents are away. I am ready and able to give that to them. I also have a small, fenced-in backyard. Rocco and I walk twice a day so I’ll be sure to bring your dog with us! Beyond that though, we are a pretty low energy house :) I am a big believer in healing our pet’s trauma and anxiety so that they can feel better and relax. About: Since I was a child, I’ve been around many different kinds of pets. I grew up with great danes in the house, as well as multiple cats and other small rodents. Now my family owns a very happy doodle named Griffon. I grew up watching my family’s dogs as well as other dogs and cats in my neighborhood. Currently I live in Nashville with my 6 year old beagle named Emmy. I love all kinds of animals and would love to meet your furbaby! I’m currently taking care of the home full time so I can be as attentive as needed with your pet! I normally walk Emmy three times a day, making sure at least one walk is a long walk through a park so she gets a lot of good smells and mental stimulation. Since I live in an apartment downtown, I try to take my dog out as much as possible so she doesn’t feel like she’s stuck inside all day. For this reason I don’t do overnight stays at my apartment, but I would be more than willing to house sit for someone’s animal. I always make sure the pet in the home is adequately taken care of to their energy level, I used to take my families dog on runs with me if he seemed bored.

About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice.
