“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: What sets me apart is my love for animals. i have had and took care of many myself. Also, my attentiveness towards your furry baby will make them feel loved and cared for. About: Hi! We are Saori and Jonathan. We love pups and hope to take care of yours. Jonathan grew up caring for his family dog, and we have regularly taken care of friends' dogs for 10+ years. We finally adopted our own rescue dog in 2020 (an adorable little Beagle named Alfie), who has taken a *very* long time to come out of his shell. We have a lot of experience working with professionals to improve Alfie's anxiety. That experience has taught us a lot about reading dog body language and the importance of creating an environment that makes nervous dogs more comfortable. Your dog will get that same loving, calm energy here. We strive to make our home a dog-friendly location safe for every dog. Saori works part-time from home, and therefore has a lot of flexibility to play with your pooch and spend quality time together! On a typical day, we take dogs for a walk on the quiet neighborhood streets, on the trails in Shelby Bottoms, or in the dog park (if they are up for it). On weekends, we like to take a longer walk on trails whenever we can, and have plenty of cozy downtime at home in between. Given our own dog's separation anxiety, someone is always at home. If we ever need to leave them alone, we will let you know. We have fenced-in front and back yards where your pup can enjoy a sniffing adventure, playing fetch, or sunbathing on the lawn. About: We consistently watch friends’ dogs and have grown up with dogs our whole life. Our friends and neighbors rely on us to take care of their loving pets. I’ve done basic training with my own dog and others i have watched. I will care for your animal no matter the age or type! I work from home and work for myself, so I make my own schedule and have plenty of free time at any time of the day. I am willing to come to you and do whatever is needed. Whether that’s a walk once or twice a day, play time in the backyard or quick check in. I know how to crate a dog as well if needed.
About: Hi! I’m a local mom living on a mini farm in Goodlettsville with my husband, son, two dogs, and ten chickens. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we spend most of our days outside exploring, playing, and staying active. My son absolutely loves animals and is a wonderful little helper. He accompanies me about 90% of the time, so if your dog or cat prefers a child-free environment or isn’t comfortable around kids, please let me know and we can discuss whether we’re a good fit. We love getting out and doing fun activities, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playing in the yard, walking to coffee, or even taking your pup on an adventure to a dog park (with your permission, of course!). If your pet prefers a slower pace, we’re equally happy to provide snuggles, backyard or indoor playtime, and companionship at home. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your dog or cat like one of our own—with plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates while you’re away. We have a sweet newborn baby so I’m home 24/7 to be with your pup giving treats and snuggles and making sure all their needs are met. We have a fenced in front yard waiting for your pup to explore! We also have two friendly dogs for your pup to play with!
About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails. I would love to schedule some dog-walking nearby so that i can take full advantage of all the great weather we are having.

They cared for our dog, Ladybird, and our cat, Frida, for five whole months while we moved across the country. That alone deserves a standing ovation. But what really blew us away was how they did it. We hadn’t even arrived in our new city when they met our pets at the airport—like long-lost family—then brought them straight into their home. From day one, Ladybird and Frida were treated like their own children, lavished with love, attention, and the kind of kindness you can’t fake. I got photo updates all the time (the kind that make you grin and maybe tear up a little), and not once—not once—did I worry.
