About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. About: We are a pet loving family who recently lost our family dog. We are hoping to help fill the void of losing our dog by loving on yours! We live in East Nashville and have a large, fenced in back yard ready for play time and potty breaks. We do have 2 younger children so we'd just need to confirm your pet is good with kids! I work from home 2-3 days per week and can arrange my schedule to be home with your pet, if needed. We can chat about how many hours and times per your dog needs to have potty breaks. We can offer walks, lots of playtime and cuddles! We have a large, fenced in back yard for the pets to run around as much as they'd like. We allow pets on furniture, if you want, or we can crate them when not home and keep to your schedule and preferences as much as you'd like!

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: I've been caretaker to Augie, a mixed lab, since he was eight months old. He's now a senior, so my experience runs the gamut age-wise. Augie is very social and I have therefore had a lot of experience socializing with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperments. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I take many walks during the day, and would love to walk with your furry friend. For overnights, I would simply need a good Wifi connection. I am happy to keep your dog company in your home and give pets, treats, and walks as needed. I like all kinds of dogs.

This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is A-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.

I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact. About: We are a pet loving family who recently lost our family dog. We are hoping to help fill the void of losing our dog by loving on yours! We live in East Nashville and have a large, fenced in back yard ready for play time and potty breaks. We do have 2 younger children so we'd just need to confirm your pet is good with kids! I work from home 2-3 days per week and can arrange my schedule to be home with your pet, if needed. We can chat about how many hours and times per your dog needs to have potty breaks. About: Hello! My name is Jess! All of my life I have had dogs. They have always been a part of me. I started working with animals when I was very young, volunteering for fostering, working at shelters, and working for rescue groups. I grew up in the country where we used to have a ton of animals! Dogs, cats, (even chickens and gunnies). I now live in a spacious house in nashville with my hisband, daughter, 2 rescue dogs and rescue cat. The past year, I have been fostering for a local rescue. I’m so fortunate my two dogs get along well with others. My house is a dogs dream, as we have a huge fenced in back yard and I work from home! So they run until their heart is content. We welcome all breeds here and would love to meet you and your furry companion. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I let my dogs in and out many times a day - our house is equipped with all the toys and beds a dog could want I take safety very seriously. Especially when it’s a life I’m responsible for. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and haven’t looked back! We currently have two dogs, 7 & 1, Shiloh and Shepherd. I raised a puppy with my sister and most recently Shepherd who is a retriever/poodle mix. I am currently building a small business but it is very flexible. About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines.
