A few days before the stay, they invited me over for a meet-and-greet so I could get a feel for their home, meet them, and introduce my dog to their sweet pup, Lana. The moment I walked in, I knew they were the right people. Their space was welcoming, safe, and dog-friendly, and their kind energy instantly put me at ease. Throughout the stay, they went above and beyond. They sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which made me smile every time. About: My past roommate and I had 2 cats and were fostering another. Living with cats has been a different experience than living with dogs, but I enjoy their company when they provide it! Since she moved out with the cats, I’m in a cat free house but miss their company!

About: I have cared for pets of all ages over the years and adopted a pup of my own about two years ago. He’s up to date on all vaccinations and loves other dogs. I have experience with giving medications to animals, caring for both puppies and older pups, and my apartment is hardwood floors so accidents aren’t a problem! I am a graduate assistant and in grad school. This means that I word pretty weird hours and I do a lot of work remotely. I’m home anywhere between 8 hours to 24 hours a day and can rearrange my schedule depending on the needs of the animal. There is a dog park nearby and it’s a safe area. For my pup, and pups I’ve boarded/cared for before, I traditionally feed them in the AM and give them plenty of water. We go to the dog park to start the day and get the energy out. I make sure to leave dog-safe toys on the floor so they know they have stuff to play with and I dog proof the apartment before I leave each time so they don’t get into things they shouldn’t. We go out later in the day to the dog park again to socialize or get the zoomies going. We go back and have a little more food or a snack and then hang out before going out on a walk to end the day. I'm working full-time in ministry so I have lots of time throughout the day to care for your loved one and will be gone no more than a few hours per evening for bible studies and groups. I take my dog, Tonka, out 5-6 times per day minimum and we love to go on walks and be outdoors. I have a large field directly behind my apartment and live in a very pet-friendly area tucked off the main road so your pup will enjoy lots of safe and supervised outside time! I allow animals on the furniture and keep all choking hazards up high. My dog has a knack for finding even the smallest things to mess with so I have good practice with keeping a safe home.

About: As a military spouse I have helped care for our dogs and many of our neighbors dogs as well. From large to small, I love dogs of all kinds. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, and our own dog loves the company of other dogs. I am a mom and am in nursing school, but pet care is the highlight of my day. My schedule is open during weekends during the school semester, and outside of that I'm fulltime at home. I have a fenced in yard and a dog and cat friendly home. I also have children at home, but they are 10 and up. About: I have taken care of pets of friends and family members for many years and had pets as a kid. I now have my own golden retriever who loves to have other animals to play with. I’ve always had a love for pets and understand how important it is to know they’re in good hands. Even with a full academic schedule, I’m organized, responsible, and intentional with my time. My apartment is close to downtown so has many walkable areas for your pets. There’s a big field next to my apartment that’s perfect for potty breaks. I can separate the upstairs from the downstairs if they need to be kept away from certain rooms, but they have plenty of room to roam in my apartment! My sister is a licensed dog groomer and I have spent many days assisting her with her clients. I am currently in school full time for physical therapy at ETSU! I am normally available Mondays after 12:00 Wednesdays between 12-2:30 and after 5:00 Thursdays before 12:00 and after 5:00. I am in town a lot of weekends (when I am not visiting home) and would be available from 12:00 Friday through the whole weekend! I am working part-time and mainly on weekends with the occasional Saturday off. When I am working, it is typically shorter shifts so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I offer availability to be with your pet as often as you would like. I am used to different pet needs whether it is walking with a leash or watching them outside. I love playful pets and will make sure they get plenty of exercise and play time.
About: I have worked with animals of all kinds my entire life. From dogs and cats to horses and even the occasional possum- I've done it all. I have lots of experience with young animals, as I have raised multiple kittens as well as taken care of puppies. I have taken care of my own animals as well as those of friends, family, and neighbors. My experience with dogs and cats is extensive, making me a great candidate for all your pet needs. I am a full time student, so I will be available most weekdays in the afternoon as well as the entirety of most weekends. My schedule includes extracurriculars, meaning my weekly schedule will not always look the same. I enjoy taking dogs on both walks and runs depending on their individual needs. When house sitting, I will be available for multiple check-ins each day that will include walks, grooming, play time, and feeding when needed.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I could drive! My family, friends, and neighbors all trust me with their fur babies! I am currently in school full time for physical therapy at ETSU! I am normally available Mondays after 12:00 Wednesdays between 12-2:30 and after 5:00 Thursdays before 12:00 and after 5:00. I am in town a lot of weekends (when I am not visiting home) and would be available from 12:00 Friday through the whole weekend! I always keep dogs on a leash unless we are in a fenced-in area with other trusted animals. My #1 priority is for the dogs, myself, and everyone around me to be safe and happy!
