“We were very nervous about trying to find care for our pup while we were away because this was his first time away from us so we reached out to various kennels but had no luck. I decided to jump on here and researched our options and read review after review until I came across Victoria and Michael’s. I was touched by what others were saying so I made a last ditch effort and reached out to them with little notice because the kennel we were supposed to board with contacted us that they couldn’t take our pup because they were full. They were able to watch him with one days notice. We were blown away by their care for our pup. “Erika Leigh and Erik are simply the best! As first-time dog owners, leaving our very loved 2-year-old Lab, Ruger, was a huge step for us. He has never been left with a sitter or alone for more than a few hours. He’s truly our family sidekick and goes almost everywhere with us. We had an all-day family event to attend and decided it would be best to leave him with a sitter for the day. Since it was a last-minute need, we were so grateful to find Erika Leigh and Erik on Rover. About: I have 4 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 3 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. Over the last couple of years I have hosted numerous dogs of different breeds, ages and sizes. I have numerous repeat customers. I also have other apps that I use for sitting, and do privately. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. About: Ive taken care of my own dogs and friends for about 3 years now. I love dogs so much and I hope to continue caring for them. I work full time during the day but I will walk or visit in between work meetings and play with them a ton at night. I will make sure they’re fed and have time inside and outside. About: Fun fact I used to be afraid of animals until I was about 12. Now I have 4 cats and have owned 6 dogs over the years. I have trained 3 of them to a basic degree and also own a snake. I love animals of all kinds and more often than not they warm up to me instantly! I am interested in summer work during the off season and am available most days almost anytime with some exceptions. I prefer mornings to mid afternoons but am very flexible! Standard house sitting includes overnight care plus daytime absences up to 4–8 hours depending on the pets’ needs. I also offer constant care for houses and pets for a custom rate depending on the individual and pets schedule! Since I have 4 cats and a human I cant board pets at home. But I have no issues staying over a night if needed, and can easily House-sit, Dog-sit, and Cat-sit in the greater Franklin area! About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats the last 7 years. In a boarding and clinic environment. I have experience with every size dog and cat as well as medicine administration (oral or injection). I’m usually home with my fur babies unless I have to run errands. I might be gone up to 4 hours. When boarders are in my home I try to stay with them more until comfortable. Then if they are social can introduce my pack and slowly meet one by one. Eventually everyone will be able to be out and play. I have a fenced in front yard and fur babies to play with your pets. We have a variety of temperaments and ages, based on your pups body language I would probably have the right fit for them :) or they can also have alone time and be rotated out to avoid other dogs. I crate all my dogs at night before bed. I have cameras around my yard and outside the house for security as well.

About: I grew up with a variety of animals and have raised several dogs from puppies. I’ve adopted difficult dogs that were set to be put down and worked with them to become amazing family members. Big dogs are my specialty. I work from home most of the week so I can make it out to walk your pups on my breaks or morning and evening. I can also pet sit in your home in the evenings and on weekends. My wife and I work as a team. She is a pet groomer and loves animals of all kinds.
