“Cynthia and her husband was amazing! They were able to take care of pur dog and ferrets last minute (with only a 5 minute warning if that 😅) and made them feel right at home. Our dog Molly and our ferrets get super stressed when we leave them home so we took them on vacation with us but we needed someone to take care of them while we did activities and Cynthia did not hesitate taking them- even on a Saturday. Molly went right to them with no problem and no hesitation- she fit right in and didn't seem stressed or sad at all when we got her back. Cynthia communicated very well and even sent pictures of Molly and our ferrets and they looked like they were right at home and happy as can be!!! Way better than the daycares that have at least 10 other dogs and usually stick the dogs in a concrete kennel most of the day. I also have my own licensed dog boarding business, and do Rover on the side when I have availability! My husband and I live in Athens,TN. We have about 5 acres of land fenced in. We love getting to meet all kinds of different dogs, and having them interact with my kids. I’m home pretty much all the time so I never have to crate unless they sleep in one at night. We do have the ability to block off areas of the home to separate (from my dogs, or if you have more than one dog and they need separation) if needed. We have a large fenced in yard that is treated monthly to prevent fleas in the area. They can get all the playtime they need! If you don't wish for that, though, then that is not a problem either. I have a very comfortable environment for any and all animals who stay with me, with several dog beds that are washed and sanitized after each stay (and in between often) as well as tons of puzzle toys and enrichment activities if they're interested in that. Otherwise, we will just cuddle and hang out! About: I am back in law enforcement and still do mom duty as well. I work a 12 hour shift but my husband is also home most days and always helps me out! I have dog sat before few years back and enjoyed it and also watched and cared for horses while owners were out of town few years back and have taken care of my animals and my families. I recently watched a friend's dog for two weeks from December 20,2020 to January 3, 2021. I am available to help take care of your babies! But I also do work and am willingly to work around my schedule and can come home and help take them out and feed them. I have 5 dogs and 3 cats who loves to play with other pets. I also have chickens, ducks and a turkey who are in their coops. I have five kids who loves to play with animals. We will make it feel like home to your pets, have walks for them, we have a dog park in the next town over we can take them too and have walks around the neighborhood. For some reason I can’t get it to change but I do have a fence in yard. I do work full time but on my days off I’m home and ready to help take care of your babies! I work in my area and able to swing in every few hours and my husband also is a big help! We care for your pets by walking them on a leash, play with them! About: My husband, Clifton Hicks, and I work from home and have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, guinea fowl, chickens, hampsters, guinea pigs, ducks, fish and goats. If your pup loves water, mud, or somehow manages to find every dirty spot possible, I’m happy to provide a bath upon request. I’m also comfortable following established care instructions for medicated baths when needed. Safety and trust are extremely important to me. I’ll follow your instructions regarding leashes, crates, feeding, medications, interactions with other animals, and anything else specific to your pet. About: Welcome to Pecor's Pups! My wife and I have a lifetime of experience caring for all sorts of animals. We love dogs, especially. I have a veterinary care background, as I used to be a vet tech. I also have a Zoology degree and am experienced with various different types of animals and the care thereof. We have an energetic - yet very gentle - Golden Retriever and a rambunctious Great Pyrenees mix so all dogs staying with us must get along with other dogs. We would be willing to separate our pups for periods of time to give your little guy/girl one-on-one time, if that is your preference. We do have the ability to block off areas of the home to separate (from my dogs, or if you have more than one dog and they need separation) if needed. We have a large fenced in yard that is treated monthly to prevent fleas in the area. They can get all the playtime they need! If you don't wish for that, though, then that is not a problem either. I have a very comfortable environment for any and all animals who stay with me, with several dog beds that are washed and sanitized after each stay (and in between often) as well as tons of puzzle toys and enrichment activities if they're interested in that. Otherwise, we will just cuddle and hang out! I will stay strict with any and all schedules (feeding, treats, play time, potty time, medicines, etc) that you provide, but if you don't have a specific schedule for your dog, then I will put them on my dogs' feeding, play, treat, and potty schedule (except for younger or older puppies that may need a little more accommodation in that department) I am very easy-going and easy to deal with. I will also send as many updates via text as you want, with photos and "report cards" of your little ones activities for the day. We also provide baths, nail trims and ear cleanings! Let me know what you may need during your stay with us! If you have any further questions about me or our home and/or our dog and the services we provide, do not hesitate to reach out. We own two businesses from home (Pecor's Pups and another business) so we have a lot of time to dedicate to your pet(s) and their needs! I have a fenced in yard and two floors (the downstairs is currently under partial construction to make Pecor's Pups even more accommodating and cozy!) “Cynthia and her husband was amazing! They were able to take care of pur dog and ferrets last minute (with only a 5 minute warning if that 😅) and made them feel right at home. Our dog Molly and our ferrets get super stressed when we leave them home so we took them on vacation with us but we needed someone to take care of them while we did activities and Cynthia did not hesitate taking them- even on a Saturday. Molly went right to them with no problem and no hesitation- she fit right in and didn't seem stressed or sad at all when we got her back. Cynthia communicated very well and even sent pictures of Molly and our ferrets and they looked like they were right at home and happy as can be!!! Way better than the daycares that have at least 10 other dogs and usually stick the dogs in a concrete kennel most of the day. You can tell Cynthia and her husband loves animals and cares for them and the animals can sense that.
