My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

About: I've worked at an animal hospital for 5 years and I have always had pets of my own. I have worked with newborn animals all the way to senior animals. I need a days notice at the very least but I'm pretty available all week. If I'm needed after 1:30pm my daughter would most likely be with me though. I have a fenced in yard so currently my dogs free roam the yard when they are not inside but I also know how to leash walk dogs as well

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I got my first dog at age 8! I’ve cared for my own as well as family and friends. I think of them as true family members. It is rather small but allows our little corgi to freely roam off the leash. We have a little patio back there and often when it’s warm will sit outside and play with the dog. We allow our dog to be out and about in the home provided she is clean. She sleeps with us in the bed. We allow other dogs to stay out in the home to sleep if that is preferred and they are housetrained. If not, we do have a crate on hand we can use if away/sleeping. About: I'm a veterinarian out due to an injury. Missing the interactions with fur babies! I'm slowly getting back to work but until I'm full time again I'd like to help people out by caring for their beloved pets! During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. I have cared for dogs of varying breeds ranging from puppies and small dogs all the way to a 150+ pound Great Dane. I have lived with and/or cared for a Great Dane, husky/malamute, boxer, pitbull mixes, chow chow mix, among many others. I’ve dealt with resource guarding, have experience with senior care, and am excellent with basic command training. I would love to meet your pups and help make their lives even more enriching! I am currently doing freelance work from home as well as working at a restaurant. My schedule varies a bit week to week, but I usually have plenty of time for drop in visits and walks! I am happy to come to your home and follow whatever routine works for your furry friend. I can take dogs on walks in nearby parks or drive them somewhere if they’re comfortable in cars!

About: Beverly here!!My entire life we have always had pets around. I have cared for dogs small and large. I have experienced with many animals from cats to goats. I love animals and have a hard time not referring to them as people.I have worked with puppies and also older dogs. I help care and walk my family and friends animals. I have experience with staying overnight and also just drop ins or day walking. I really care for the animals and love each personality they each have. I love to take an animal on car rides or a run on the road. If a pet is in need of bathing I have experience washing both large and small dogs. I am currently working full time. My schedule is Sunday to Wednesday 6-4:30. I am able to care for an animal before and after work and also on my days off. I know this schedule is ideal for all families but some are comfortable with it. I would be available to walk your pet as little or as much as they require. Whether it’s playing fetch or taking a walk exercise is needed for pets and I’m happy to help with that.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I got my first dog at age 8! I’ve cared for my own as well as family and friends. I think of them as true family members. I have experience giving dogs injections/medications. I’ll also be available to play, feed, walk, take outside, and of course give all the treaties :) I’m an RN! I spend most of my off time with my dogs or other dogs <3 my husband also is home most days while in school and helps me with the dogs while I’m away. We’re a team! I have a fenced in backyard. It is rather small but allows our little corgi to freely roam off the leash. We have a little patio back there and often when it’s warm will sit outside and play with the dog. We allow our dog to be out and about in the home provided she is clean. She sleeps with us in the bed. We allow other dogs to stay out in the home to sleep if that is preferred and they are housetrained. If not, we do have a crate on hand we can use if away/sleeping. We have a couple neighborhoods nearby we do walk in.
About: I've worked at an animal hospital for 5 years and I have always had pets of my own. I have worked with newborn animals all the way to senior animals. I need a days notice at the very least but I'm pretty available all week. If I'm needed after 1:30pm my daughter would most likely be with me though. I have a fenced in yard so currently my dogs free roam the yard when they are not inside but I also know how to leash walk dogs as well
About: I’ve always had an empathetic passion for animals! From age 12, I have been volunteering in shelters and working in the animal field since age 18 (aside from pet sitting in my high school years). I have worked at a boarding facility, vet, and holistic pet food store. Now, I work at an animal shelter on the behavior team. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperments. I am Fear Free Shelter Certified, hold a dog training certification, and am working toward more certifications in the dog behavior field. I also have experience with small mammals and cats! I can be available for drop ins or walks: - almost any time on Tuesday and Wednesday - limited times on Thursday through Monday I am available for meet and greets after work (off around 5 or 6) during the week or during the weekends. My personal dogs are my entire life and I bring that same devotion to the pets of others. I take a respectful, ethical approach in my interactions with dogs from pet sitting to training techniques.

“I have boarded my dog with Kristy twice now, and it’s been a great experience both times! My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”
