We discovered just 3 nights before we were to leave, that our kennel does not have any attendants in the building from 7pm to 7am. Our senior dog has health concerns and we were contemplating canceling our trip if nobody could be with them overnight. She had cancer and was allergic to everything. She required regular baths with medicated shampoo, hypoallergenic food, regular ear cleanings for ear infections, lots of medication, doggy diapers, sprays, lotions, and lots of extra love. Because of all the experience I got caring for her, I had thought for long time I might want to be a vet. If your pet requires a little extra love, I am definitely the sitter for you. With a mother who is a professional groomer and previously a vet tech, I was exposed to dogs and animals of all breeds, temperaments, ages, and more. I have been taking on animal sitting “gigs” for as long as I can remember, and love every animal I meet! I am versed in different medical care and always willing to learn anything to help. I currently work full time with dogs on a daily basis, but love to fit in extra care when I can. I am often available for house visits, overnight visits, and more! Ideally for overnight visits, the pup/pet would be okay for 8 hours at a time due to work, but always willing to be flexible or work around as best I can. I love getting to care for pet’s in their own home, as it adds an extra level of comfort for them.
