My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

About: Hey y'all! I have a love for animals and I'm looking for pets to hang out with and care for while I'm in school and working a full time job. I'm going to school to get my veterinary technician license with Penn Foster. Luckily, it's a strictly online school! I'm also a full-time Veterinary Assistant at an animal hospital, so I have plenty of experience with caring for animals. Friends and family have always considered me very trustworthy with their pets since I was young! I can't remember a time when I didn't love animals. I have been pet sitting for a few years for my family and parents' coworkers, but I thought I would step it up and try Rover! I currently work at an animal hospital and I previously worked at a doggy daycare. All of this while also being in school to get my license! (I have assisted in multiple birthings when I was little LOL) As a child, I was the neighborhood animal sitter. As an adult, I have pet sit with multiple animals, big and small. I truly have a love for animals and will always treat your animal as my own! I know when I go on vacations or out of town how stressful it can be to leave my animals. How stressful it can be to not know who will be able to take care of them and if they will be loved on while I’m away. I can follow strict regimens regarding food, brushing, bathing, medicine etc. I have almost full availability as I am a Teacher through the school year and off through the summer time. I am a morning person so I have no problem scheduling something early, and love an evening walk when the sun starts to go down as well. I have 3 dogs and a cat of my own so animal care is already part of my daily routine! I have a reliable vehicle to take me to and from your house, as well as a love for exercise for walking your dogs! You and your animals experience with a walker/sitter is my top priority. I understand the fear of being unable to find someone trustworthy to watch your pets, having some of my own. I have a large fenced in yard and still make time to take all 3 dogs on walks to give them the exercise and stimulation they need to be happy.

One of our dogs was never boarded, and had little experience around other dogs. She handled that with ease. She acclimated him with her dogs, and it looked like he had a blast. She sent us plenty of updates that kept us from worrying about how the pups were doing. We came from out of town so we wish she was closer to us. We had a meet and greet a few days beforehand and when we came to drop her off for the week, Molly could not wait to get out of the car. My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”
