“Shawna, has done an excellent job with my two Shih Tzu poodles. She has had them longer than expected and accommodated me through a major surgery that had some hiccups. Her attention to detail with your dog is outstanding. She is an hour and a half for me and his well worth the drive for me to leave them there because I know they’re taking care of. She sends plenty of pictures so you’ll know how much fun your dog is actually really having with her.”

“Our first time ever using Rover and Krystal made this process so easy and was an absolute life saver after last minute needing someone to keep our doggy! She kept us updated on Mav everyday… sent pictures AND videos!! Maverick was very nervous being in a new environment and scared of the bad thunderstorms but Krystal definitely did it all to keep his mind occupied and let him know he was safe… that made us feel so good! Thank you for caring our pup❤️❤️❤️”

“I can't recommend Kristy enough! She was great with my 16yo dog that has mobility issues and uses a harness to get around. I was nervous to leave her with someone since she needs special care but Kristy went above and beyond for her! I got lots of photos and updates while I was away. I would absolutely have my dog stay with Kristy again!”

“Quincy had a nice time with Donna. She slept in a large crated area and played in her fenced yard. It was a great spot to board our dog when we stayed in a rental house in the area that did not allow dogs.”

“Shannon was amazing with our pups! She sent pictures of them having the times of their throughout their time with her. She took care of them and loved them as if they were her own and made sure to note their exact schedule to make them as comfortable as possible. I don't think I'll leave my dogs with anyone other than Shannon ever again. We will be back!”

“Shawna kept me updated with pictures and videos of how my dog was doing and it was very assuring to see him happy, playing with her dogs, and obviously well taken care of. He adjusted right into her home. Overall great experience and great communication. I have already booked my next stay!”

“Kat was more than amazing! We left our pup with her for 10 days and she not only took amazing care but also documented all of her food intake and stool health. Constantly took pictures! I’m sure this will not be the last time we leave our pup with Kat. We couldn’t have chosen a better sitter!”

“Andrew was great and took good care of my boy Leroy. His dog Jeff is a sweetie and I would definitely book with Andrew again so Leroy has both a human and canine companion he likes while I’m away!”

“Cassy and her family watched our mini Aussie for the day. They treated him like family, sent updates, which confirmed that our fur baby was in the best hands possible while we attended a wedding in Gatlinburg. I highly recommend her to anyone considering a day, night, week or longer care. She is truly a dog lover. Thank you Cassy!!”

About: I’ve had many dogs all my life. Family, friends, and neighbors have depended on me for house/pet sitting, pet feeding, bathing, and pet medication needs more seriously over the last 5 years. I plan to open a pet care business eventually, and I would love the opportunity to serve you while I work towards these ambitions. I love dogs, any size, and energy level. I work bi-weekly and my calendar reflects my exact availability! When I’m not working I stay home as much as I want/ need, which means your pet will have my full attention!! Your pet will be my best friend. I’m laying roots in Knoxville and simply can’t afford my own pet yet, so I am grateful to befriend yours!
“Naomi provided our family with wonderful service and, more importantly with peace of mind. We have 2 geriatric cats, one of whom is not well, and a 7 year old who can be a handful. None of the 3 has been alone for a protracted period of time let alone been boarded. We are so thankful to have had Naomi take such good care of our fur babies. She left our home in great shape, and collected our mail and delivered packages which was icing on the cake. We highly recommend her and will seek her out if we go out of town again.”
About: I have had pets all my life. I love them all…especially the doggies! We have four rescue pups, a bunny and and a bearded dragon so we share the love with all different animals. I will take your dog(s) for long walks and of course playtime if they like, give them food water and treats as needed, and I’m happy to accommodate with any special requests if your fur baby has a favorite activity, treat, or any special needs.

About: I’ve had a dog and cat for the past 5 years and love them!! I love running errands & being there for you and your pets would be my pleasure! I teach Monday and Friday and serve a few weekends. I can do evening runs, and the weekends are pretty flexible for me to walk. I have the softest spot for any animal! I’ve had birds, rabbits, hamsters, 2 dogs, a cat. I wish I could have more but my corgi is antisocial.
“Cy Cy, my cat, is a bit skittish and this was the first time we left her with a sitter. We had only been in Gatlinburg for a few hours when Frances sent a couple of pics of Cy Cy. She was on her back sleeping, just like she does at home, so she evidently felt safe. I really appreciate her care and anytime I need a sitter she will be my first call.”

“Oh my goodness Megan C. Is the best! She took wonderful care of our cats and respected our home over our week long vacation. She communicated with us about the important and not important details of her visits. We came home to 2 very happy cats, clean litter boxes, a beautiful note and pictures of our babies while we were gone. We will definitely be using her again whether it’s for just a day or another 8 day getaway!”

I’d definitely recommend Megan to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to watch their pup!”

“For the first time using Rover, it was an outstanding experience, all thanks to Kristy! She was timely responsive and very friendly. The booking was last minute and our dog has separation anxiety, which both didn’t seem to deter Kristy. Highly recommend Kristy to take care of your furry babies!”

“Amanda accommodated our last-minute request so we could take a tour at Cumberland Gap NHP. Her home, dog toy basket, and large yard were perfect for our standard poodle. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life! There was never a time I didn’t have a let of some kind. I was always helping neighbors and family members with their animals. I am home throughout the day as well as nights and evenings so your fur babies will get all the love and play time they need! I have a large unfenced yard where your babies can enjoy running while attached to a long leash. They will get to roam around in the home as long as they are potty trained and dog friendly. “Jeanie was FANTASTIC with our boy! I had to look for doggy daycare for our young puppy rather last minute and she was so sweet and accommodating. We got lots of pictures of him during his stay. Our little guy had a blast and got lots of love and attention. When we arrived, his crate was all folded up and all of his belongings were packed up and ready for us to pick him up. She’s a real dog-lover and is great with potty training pups. We would definitely book with Jeanie again if needed. 10/5 stars.”

“Tracy is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend her! We were in Pigeon Forge for a baseball tournament and had booked a pet-friendly hotel. Unfortunately, our sweet Grayson experienced severe anxiety at the hotel, and I quickly realized he couldn’t be left alone in the room. Since this was my first time using Rover, I scheduled a meet-and-greet with Tracy. Grayson immediately felt comfortable with her, and so did I. She took him home with her for the day, and he did great. Tracy kept in constant communication and sent pictures throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. We could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: I’ve never gone a day in my life without a dog, and they’ve always been family — never just animals in the house. That same love and respect is what I bring to every pet I care for. With two years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I’m comfortable walking, feeding, playing, and giving oral or topical medications. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality so they feel safe, understood, and truly cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep routines consistent. I double-check doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions to ensure safety at all times. I take time to make pets feel comfortable and calm in their own environment, keeping things clean and organized before I leave. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease. About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve lived with and cared for animals ranging from small pets to large dogs my entire life, including senior pets and those with special needs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. I’m typically available after that and have plenty of flexibility on weekends! My schedule can vary, but I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs. Feel free to reach out, even if you’re not sure my schedule will work, just ask! About: (PSA - I’m married! So if you don’t mind a couple watching your pets, we’ll be more than happy to serve you! The below agreement will still apply, of course; there’s just a second set of hands. I can also watch your home and pets solo if that’s what you prefer. 🥰) Home/Pet Owner Satisfaction Agreement: - My personal motto is "Leave it better than you found it." - Your home will be taken care as if it was my own. - I will do light cleaning and even landscaping if needed, so your home stays well kept. - Your pets will receive the attention they deserve. - I will do my absolute best to make sure their daily routine stays the same as if you were home. - I will send you all the pictures and updates, so you can have peace of mind that your pets are happy, safe, and well taken care of. - If you ask me to do something, it will get done. - When you return home, you'll be able to rest immediately because your home will be clean and your pets happy (though definitely excited to see you again!). I always don't trust people easily, and I usually rely on myself a lot to get things done. So it'd be scary for me to have a stranger taking care of my home and pets. I'd worry constantly over my furry family. That's why I try to immediately put you at ease during our initial conversation and respect your home and pet(s). I grew up with pets (hence the 20 years of experience), so I am definitely an animal lover. I've also house/pet sit here on Rover and by word-of-mouth referrals for two years now and already have 32 reviews of pleased home and pet owners. After reading the reviews on my profile and browsing the photo gallery (Get ready for cuteness overload and not from me!), here's how you can work with me: 1. Send me a message. 2. In that message, tell me about your pets, their needs, and what dates you'll be gone. 3. We'll adjust the pricing if needed. 4. Before finalizing the booking, I will meet you and your pet(s) in your home for you to walk me through the daily routine and see if we're a good fit. 5. If both parties agree, we confirm the booking. It's that easy! Thank you so much in advance for trusting me with your home and pet(s)! In return, I will strive to take the best care of your home and pet(s). So that you won't loose any sleep worrying if they're okay or not. That way, you can actually enjoy your vacation or fully focus on business and/or family while you're gone. I work remotely full time as a writer and freelance marketer, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m completely available any day for whatever you need and will be able to give your home and pet(s) the attention they deserve. I will follow whatever instructions you give to a T. As a creative person, my brain can be scattered, but having instructions in a text or list helps a ton. That way, you have utmost peace of mind that your home and pet(s) are receiving the best care!

About: I have several years of professional experience working hands on with dogs in boarding, daycare, enrichment, and training environments. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels, from young puppies learning appropriate manners to senior dogs who need a slower, more individualized approach. My experience includes dog training, enrichment activities, group play supervision, leash handling, feeding and medication routines, recognizing canine body language, and working with dogs who may be nervous, overstimulated, reactive, or simply need a little extra patience. I’m comfortable adapting care to the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to enjoy or respond to the same things. Most importantly, I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I currently have open availability and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and keep their schedule as consistent as possible while you’re away. Safety and your pet’s comfort are always my priority. My professional experience has taught me to pay close attention to canine body language, stress signals, behavior changes, and each dog’s individual boundaries. I follow your pet’s established routine and care instructions closely and never force interactions they’re uncomfortable with. Whether your dog is outgoing, nervous, high energy, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll adjust my care to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable.
About: I have two dogs, one is three and one is six months. I adore them and spoil them daily. My oldest has very high energy so I am used to getting the energy out! I am currently in college, but I am available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to walk your dogs! I am also available to board your dog anytime! I am home pretty much all day everyday except for my hour class I have to attend Monday and Wednesday. I have a pretty set routine with my dogs, as I wake up early (6am) to let them both out, and again around 9. I am very attentive with my dogs, as I would be with yours! I make sure they are comfortable and have a nice place to lay and have food and water at their access. If they need to go out, I’m on it! I imagine how my dogs would feel if my dogs were going to a new place, and want to make them feel as loved and comfortable as possible, as new environments can be scary.

I want to ensure their owner has peace of mind that they’re fur baby is being well taken care of. I am a college student and a student athlete so mornings/afternoons can be a little hectic.
