“Elizabeth is absolutely AMAZING!!! We had a last minute change of plans and needed to board our pups over thanksgiving and she was quick to respond and accept the reservation. She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. Throughout the week she sent us constant updates of their shenanigans with both cute and funny pictures of them. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. If you need your dog boarded with someone you know you can trust, book with Elizabeth. We will be using her every time we go back to the mountains!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and now have a dog of my own. I have walked and dog sat for different family members and friends. My dog is very friendly and loves making new friends! I currently work full time, but have plenty of time in the afternoons and weekends to take care of your pets. I also have the opportunity to work from home a few days a month to allow for extra time and/or boarding during the week! I will treat your animals as if they were my own! Visits usually consist of potty breaks, feedings, lots of play time, and any other special requests.

I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . About: I have lived with/cared for dogs my entire life, and though I would consider myself a “dog-person” - I love spending time with all animals! I work from home so I have tons of flexibility for daily drop-ins, walks, and boarding needs. I have an almost-3 year old dog at home that I take on multiple daily walks, as well as a fenced in backyard, and she loves hanging out with new friends! I have been fostering for the last year, so have welcomed many different temperaments into our home and have gained experience in administering medication and dealing with high stress/anxiety animals, and can read body language extremely well. I can accommodate many different needs for any pet - senior dogs and puppies are welcomed. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to meet and hang out with your beloved pets! I work from home, so pups staying with us are rarely left alone except for maybe an hour or so if I need to run errands or have plans. I'm responsible and very loving to all dogs to all animals. Being responsible to you I will always be in contact with you through the phone and send pictures of the walks, and or the stay with me. I've taken care of my own and took care of Teddy and Sammy until they passed naturally with cancer. I have Nero and Feisty now. I've also taken care of friends and my families dogs for over 40 years. I walk my dogs every day even when it was cold out for many years. I understand how important it is for a dog to be walked, it's best for their health. I've rescued all my dogs, and have been devoted to the end. My home is clean and spacious, I leash my only dog every time he goes out, as I would yours. During the summer, Cody is available all day because of being an educator and having a summer break. If boarding with us, we have a fenced-in yard where our three dogs run around and play! If your dog is a digger or runner, we also have a run that your dog can be hooked up to remain in the yard while also providing maximum playtime. For drop-in visits, we will ensure that any happy accidents are cleaned up, your dog remains on the food plan that you have, and will give them time outside to use the bathroom.

About: I've been dogsitting since I could drive at 16. I have worked at multiple kennels, one specializing in young, high-energy working dogs, and the other specializing in aggressive and fear-reactive dogs with bite histories. I have also dogsat for dogs with bite histories, high-energy breeds, low-energy breeds, dogs with health issues, dogs who have had no training, and dogs who have had lots of training. I will have a part-time internship near Maryville this summer, as well as an online summer class. I will have plenty of time to care for your pets around these activities! I can work half-shifts at my internship (~4 hours) and all I need for my class is Wi-Fi access and somewhere to sit. I am familiar with giving dogs medications, even the reluctant dogs. I am also well-versed in dog body language and behavior, and am comfortable dealing with pets who are fearful. I am not afraid of large dogs! I love the big dogs, and am comfortable with breeds up to and including Great Danes, Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Newfies, etc. I am used to dog training as well, and am more than willing to maintain any training rules you may have for your dog. My personal dog is a certified therapy dog (she will not be accompanying while dogsitting). I love training, but have no certifications, just dog training kennel experience.

She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”
