About: I was a dog mom for 16 years to my beautiful baby girl. We went everywhere together. Literally everywhere. In that time I was also the vet tech, groomer, trainer, personal Vizsla chef, bone delivery girl and I became a professional tennis ball and flippy flop launcher. I have significant experience in puppy/baby dinosaur stages all the way to senior care. I have experience with rambunctious pups that may have a minor injury, allergies and medication administration. I sadly lost my girl a few years ago and have been keeping friends and family's pets since and I've loved getting some puppy snuggles! I am currently working as a nurse and I work one week on and one week off. In my weeks off, I have plenty of time to go walking at the park or hang out at home. My home is very dog friendly and allowed on all couches, chairs and beds. I have an orthopedic dog bed also available and lots of toys! My yard is partially fenced in with no gate on either end. All pups will be leashed when outside the home. No exceptions.

I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for daytime, evenings, weekends, and overnight care depending on your needs. I understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a small fenced area and plenty of room to walk. I can also crate your dog if needed and will always follow your feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and house rules carefully. About: I have been around dogs, cats, and small pets my entire life! I have pet owner-level experience in dog grooming (bathing, brushing, foot pad trimming.) I am also experienced in training puppies basics. If you have a multi-pet household, I would love to offer you my services! For cats, I have given medications (mostly experienced in oral medications and topicals), deep-cleaned litter boxes/potty areas, and have plenty of experience in caring for outdoor barn cats! I am mostly available on the weekends right now due to the extracurricular activities that I'm in; however, I will be freer to care for your pets in March! I will always keep my calendar up to date and if you're unsure about dates, please feel free to reach out and ask me! I can easily crate/isolate your pet when needed (may that be for mail pickup, having a guest over, or preparing to leave.) I am also on Life360 with my emergency contacts so if we're going on a walk I suddenly need help, I can use the SOS feature to get help immediately. If asked I can give you hourly updates on your babies with pictures, so you can always been in the know about your pet's care.

About: I will tell you a bit about me and I need to know about your dog as well. Before contacting me about caring for your dog, make sure their profile(s) is completed here on Rover. Upload a picture and submit as much info as you can provide. It helps me determine if your dog is a good fit for what I can provide. About me: Raised in the country surrounded by both family pets and farm animals, caring for critters is second nature to me. I am a doting grandma who lives too far away from my kids to see my grandchildren so I channel that attention toward my Australian Shepherd, Gumbo, and my new puppy, Boo, the Yorki-Poo. After I lost my husband and best friend I found the best way to cope is to help others and keep busy. If I can help you out with your dog or cat while you're away, let me know. I can use the extra income but also I need to feel useful. I keep my fee low. Tips are appreciated. I board at my home in the country near Dukedom, TN. Think of boarding here as bringing your dog to Grandma's house. There will be some spoiling and if pet parents permit, homemade dog cookies! Currently I am home all the time. Your dog will be with me and my dog while here. Gumbo (30 pound neutered male) likes to play fetch or frisbee and we do this daily. I feed my dog early morning (6-7) and early evening (6-7). I give a lot of outside time when weather allows. I give my dog a lot of attention and your dog(s) will get the same. We are a pack and your dog will be part of that pack when he/she stays with us. I live on 6 acres near Dukedom, TN. My large backyard has a chain link fence. If your dog likes to play ball or frisbee this is a great yard to do it in. In addition to the backyard, I have a large field that I keep a path mowed around just for walks but to go there your dog(s) must have excellent recall or be leashed trained very well. I don't want to be pulled around or have to struggle to hold them. Dogs really like going to the field. "No" is the word I use to stop misbehavior. If there is a different word you use, let me know. It is good to know what words/phrases your dog recognizes. It'd be great if you write those down and give it to me. I have carpet throughout my living quarters so PLEASE only housebroken dogs. I give numerous long outdoor time between 5 AM to 9 PM. Potty breaks are every couple of hours. Your pet must be vaccinated! Bordatella vacs are recommended every six-to-twelve months. if your dog frequents places with other dogs, get 6 month vaccine. My dogs are vaccinated. In the warmer months, it is very important that dogs have a flea and tick preventative or have some defense against these nasty bugs because both are out here. I keep grass mowed but they still get on the dogs so make sure they have a preventative. My dogs wear clothing treated with Sawyer flea/tick spray and I have had great success with that method along with a monthly prescribed medicine. Bring your pet's food/bowls/treats along with feeding instructions. Filling out pet profile in depth on Rover helps tremendously! It has an area for vet info and anything I would need to know about your dog can be on their profile! Gumbo has dog toys that he shares but if your dog has a fave, bring it. If your dog must sleep in a bed or crate, bring it. Sometimes a sweater or anything with your scent on it comforts a dog that misses his/her owner. You're welcome to bring that. If he/she has a brush that you want me to use, bring it. I can brush dogs but have no proper facility to bathe. In the summer, I have a small dog pool to cool off in and plenty of shade in the backyard. NO cell service out here so I do not carry my phone with me. I check my messages several times thru the day but I'm not like most that have their phone on them. It does me no good. Many rural people pay for cell service despite not getting it at their homes. I have a landline that works providing my internet service works. If there is anything else you need to know, do not hesitate to ask. I have my profile set to only take in three dogs at a time. I have two so I think five is enough. I am very attentive so rest assured I am keeping a good eye on them.

Additionally, I grew up and have always had a dog of my own, my baby recently passed away. I’ve worked with sick dogs, shy dogs and rambunctious dogs! I work from home Monday through Friday and can be attentive 24/7 to any pet under my care, I would love to share my space and downtime with a furry friend! I have a yard that is currently not fenced but that can be fixed, I will be home all day so I can attend to your pet, I have space for a kennel when necessary and live on a dead end which makes is easier for walks up and down the road.

About: I've grown up having pets since I was young, so I feel extremely comfortable with pets of all kinds and all sizes. I began house-sitting and pet-sitting in college, and since then, friends and neighbors have continued to trust me with their fur babies. Occasionally, I have needed to administer flea and tick medicines (pills and creams) or allergy ointments. I work part time currently, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to check on pets regularly during the day, go on walks as needed, and hang out with them at night, if necessary. I have a large grassy area in front of my apartment where your dog can potty as needed and run as much as they want. I am also available to overnight stays at a client's home.

About: I have 30+ years of experience taking care of dogs from small to big and puppies to senior with our most recent family dog being a senior of about 17 years old. Also, I spent the last two years as a part time care taker for my dad, so I have experience following instructions and providing the proper care needed. I am now an empty nester, so I have plenty of time to walk and care for your pets. I am available throughout the week as well as on the weekends so I look forward to the opportunity. My senior dog would go out for fresh air and a potty break minimum two times a day. I also fed him twice a day and made sure he had water in his bowl throughout the day. As for clients' dogs, I welcome all notes and will follow the instructions carefully to ensure they receive the care they need.
