“I couldn’t have asked for a better place to board our dog! DeRee and her husband took great care of Apollo and sent us updates daily. On top of all that they took him in on very short notice, so we’re extremely grateful for that as well. Will use again!”

I amany photos daily, which eliminated my anxiety about leaving him in someone else's home. I will definitely hire Kallie again to keep my Charlie when I have to travel.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 15 years — starting with my own and growing into a trusted home-away-from-home for others’ pups too. Over that time I’ve cared for everything from bouncy puppies learning the ropes to senior dogs on daily medication, so I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever your dog needs. Every dog who stays with us gets fenced acreage to roam, a steady daily routine, and plenty of family time — plus photo updates so you always know they’re happy and well cared for. I’m a homeschooling mom, which means your pup gets lots of company throughout the day! A typical day starts with an early morning outing to run around and go potty, then breakfast, followed by lots of in-and-out playtime throughout the day. We wrap up with dinner and a calm bedtime routine. Your fur baby will get plenty of socialization, playtime, and snuggles from our family all day long — they won’t just be boarded, they’ll be part of the household. Your dog will have their own climate-controlled space, separate from our other animals but fully visible to them — so they can watch (and be watched by!) our cats, chickens, mini donkeys, and our own fur babies from a secure, fully enclosed 6-foot no-climb fence. Dogs stay in their kennels overnight, and for occasional breaks throughout the day depending on weather. Please bring your dog’s kennel, leash, and food dishes for their stay. If your pup needs medication, we’re happy to administer oral or topical meds for a $5/day fee. And if you’d like some extra peace of mind, I’m happy to send daily photo updates during their stay!
“Cynthia is a 10/10 Trusted Sitter. If I could give her over 5 stars on Rover, I most certainly would without hesitation. The ‘start to end’ booking process was seamless and she was excellent to communicate with. She was beyond accommodating and all I needed to really know upon pick up was how my Tegan behaved. She did not want to leave Cynthia’s side which was a GREAT sign. Thank you Cynthia and Miles for opening your new, clean home to Tegan and spending time with her. Having to travel often for work doesn’t make it easy leaving my dog daughter behind but knowing she’s in good hands with you and close by, makes a world of a difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having this service as an option here in Polk County, TN!!! Looking forward to our next Rover boarding with you in a couple of weeks!”

“We had a weekend away in Tellico Plains and were in need of a somebody to watch our dog and found Aric in nearby, Athens. Aric and his family were extremely accommodating of our plans and responsive whenever we had questions. Our pup seems to have had a great time as well. Will definitely keep Aric in mind should we be in the area again.”

“Shannon was loving and caring towards our pups. She sent daily pictures and even gathered the babies a bath before we picked them up. So happy with her service and care.”

“Lyndsey was great with our Abbie who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. She sent us videos and photos throughout the day. Abbie actually acted like she didn’t want to leave when I picked her up, lol, so I knew she loved staying with Lyndsey!”

“Denita is great! We had a last minute trip and ended up arriving back much later than expected. She was flexible and allowed our girl to stay another night. The pictures and communication were wonderful to receive. We will be re-booking!!”

“Darlene is absolutely amazing! So sweet, and I immediately felt at ease leaving Tucker with her. She was very accommodating as we booked pretty last minute. Her professionalism was above and beyond what I've typically experienced with Rover (and I've had fantastic experiences using Rover, so this is a great compliment!). She truly cares for dogs and has a wonderful set up to help them feel at ease, keep them safe, and ensure they enjoy their time while in her care. We wish we lived closer so we could book her again and again!”

“Brittany was wonderful. She kept me updated about Buddy. He had a good time with her. I would be happy to have Buddy stay with her again on my next trip. He got along with the other pups in the house and everything went smoothly.”

“Ruth and her husband provided excellent care for my dog while I was away. They have great knowledge about dogs and offered a wonderful home away from home for my pup. Highly recommended.”

“We were highly satisfied with services provided by Brianna. She was super easy to work with and so friendly and courteous. Also she gave us great updates complete with pictures. We will definitely use her again when needed.”

“I’m very blessed to have found Sharon. She’s a keeper!!! I recommend her without reservation. Your fur babies will be loved and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed in her care.”

I’m very attentive to routines and will stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule to help reduce stress. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I love being outside and spending time with animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing outside, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise throughout the day. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets feel safe and relaxed by giving them lots of love, supervision, and a calm environment. I enjoy being outside, so walks and outdoor play are something I really enjoy doing with dogs.
“Delaney sat our dogs at her home while my family and I were on vacation. I highly, highly recommend her. She was responsive and thoughtful throughout the process, from our first connection on Rover until we picked up our dogs from her house after our vacation ended. One can see how beautifully she nurtures her own dog, and she took excellent care of our dogs as well. They were excited to see us at pick-up, but also heathy and emotionally relaxed. I couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Robyn did an outstanding job taking care of our laying hens! She is extremely responsible and a very genuine and trustworthy person. I will definitely book her again and can't recommend her highly enough.”

“Showed up and did everything, very respectful of my space and my pets. It’s always a stress wondering if someone will be reliable especially with your pets while you’re on vacation. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of pet sitting.”

“My experience proved that Cheyenne is a responsible woman that took care of my 3 cats. One would not eat much, and she therefore made an extra trip to attempt to feed her. She also texted me about the issue and suggested she could try to feed her again. Cheyenne is very considerate and I would not hesitate to hire her services in the future.”

“Shannon visited my boy cat Smokie at my house a few times. I couldnt be more thankful! (not to mention one day was Valentines) xoxo. I was unexpectedly delayed on my return home and Shannon is an angel to have stopped by to make sure he was safe <3 Thank you, R.”

“Tasia took great care of my pets. Excellent communication and thankfully she was able to urgently change her schedule not once but twice to help me out. I’m very grateful for her and would highly recommend her.”

“Kelcie did so well with Enzo. He’s a dog with trust issues but warmed up to Kelcie quickly. Kelcie was great at communicating if she had to stop in later than usual and she took such good pictures of Enzo. I think they really grew attached to each other during the months I spent in Knoxville. We will surely miss her!”

About: Welcome to Pecor's Pups! My wife and I have a lifetime of experience caring for all sorts of animals. We love dogs, especially. I have a veterinary care background, as I used to be a vet tech. I also have a Zoology degree and am experienced with various different types of animals and the care thereof. We have an energetic - yet very gentle - Golden Retriever and a rambunctious Great Pyrenees mix so all dogs staying with us must get along with other dogs. We would be willing to separate our pups for periods of time to give your little guy/girl one-on-one time, if that is your preference. We do have the ability to block off areas of the home to separate (from my dogs, or if you have more than one dog and they need separation) if needed. We have a large fenced in yard that is treated monthly to prevent fleas in the area. They can get all the playtime they need! If you don't wish for that, though, then that is not a problem either. I have a very comfortable environment for any and all animals who stay with me, with several dog beds that are washed and sanitized after each stay (and in between often) as well as tons of puzzle toys and enrichment activities if they're interested in that. Otherwise, we will just cuddle and hang out! I will stay strict with any and all schedules (feeding, treats, play time, potty time, medicines, etc) that you provide, but if you don't have a specific schedule for your dog, then I will put them on my dogs' feeding, play, treat, and potty schedule (except for younger or older puppies that may need a little more accommodation in that department) I am very easy-going and easy to deal with. I will also send as many updates via text as you want, with photos and "report cards" of your little ones activities for the day. We also provide baths, nail trims and ear cleanings! Let me know what you may need during your stay with us! If you have any further questions about me or our home and/or our dog and the services we provide, do not hesitate to reach out. We own two businesses from home (Pecor's Pups and another business) so we have a lot of time to dedicate to your pet(s) and their needs! I have a fenced in yard and two floors (the downstairs is currently under partial construction to make Pecor's Pups even more accommodating and cozy!) I can separate pets if needed for whatever reason, and there will be a lot of space outside for pups to roam whilst also being completely contained in the safety of my backyard.

“Lisa was great with watching my labradoodle for a day while I was out kayaking. He has "a bit" of separation anxiety and she went of her way to give him some extra attention and playtime in a kiddie pool to calm him down. The farm is a nice setting and seemed like there's something to keep any dog temperament and energy level occupied and content. Definitely a great sitter and I highly recommend trying her place out!”

I have two pups of my own, and my world is nothing but dogs all day every day. I have pretty flexible schedule and am home most of the time. I also have a flexible schedule when it comes to drop in visits and walks. Fur babies are all treated like family at our house. We have a lot of space outside to play. Unfortunately we don’t have a fenced in yard. I would just need to be sure they can be trusted to stay with the pack. If they can’t be trusted and need to stay leashed they will.
About: My husband, Clifton Hicks, and I work from home and have experience with dogs, cats, pigs, guinea fowl, chickens, hampsters, guinea pigs, ducks, fish and goats. We are originally from Georgia and FL, we formerly worked for the National Park Service and US Forest Service and have settled here in SE Tennessee. We have each experienced a life time of pet care before and after meeting. To us, animals are angels! We have 1 well behaved, friendly one year old male cat and 1 mixed brindle eleven year old dog. Clifton works from home as an instrument builder, and provides banjo lessons to his clients across the globe. I am a real estate agent and I have a home office and an office at HomeSmart Living Realty in Etowah, TN. We enjoy helping people and animals! And they are our priority above all other tasks. Clifton and/or I are home at all times. We are happy to help on short notice and have a flexible work-life schedule. We enjoy using amazon and walmart delivery because we can spend more time at home building the farm :D. Indoor space include, full access to the living room, dining room and kitchen. For outdoor space, we have 3+ acres, a screened in patio, 3 outbuildings, and 1 large kennel. We encourage good behavior with treats and patience. Our verbal communication is calm.

Cats hold a special place in my heart and are always welcome in my home. ❤️

I have two dogs, two cats, and a ferret of my own so there’s really not much that can phase me, and I love meeting new animals!! Since I’m working part time and pretty close to home my schedule is flexible. I also have hour long lunch breaks in which I go home for. I have a fenced in yard and doggy door! So if you’re worried about your pup getting out or not being able to have access to outside you can rest assured your pup will be alright.
About: My name is Tina and I am a retired veterinary technician with 8 years experience in veterinary medicine and 20 years in animal care. I am looking to pet sit full time. I used to pet sit part time before I moved to Tennessee. I pet sat for 7-8 clients at a time. I take care of animals ranging from dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, farm animals ect. I do not discriminate against dog breeds or pet ages. They are all amazing to me and I have a huge passion for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am 100% comfortable giving medications (pills, liquids, insulin injections, rx diets ect) to your pet if needed. My services would include stopping by to feed, water, give attention to your pet, clean up messes, give meds, let outside to go potty, and make sure everyone is happy and healthy. I will also walk your dog if needed to be leashed walked vs let into the fenced yard to play and potty. I have experience pet sitting for clients with MULTIPLE pets also. I can't wait to meet you and your furbabies! I am currently trying to make pet sitting my full time job, so I am pretty open when it comes to days and times to take care of your pet/pets. I can not stay overnight due to having pets at home myself to take care of. I go by all instructions left by pet owner. I know some pets have to stay seperate whether it be when eating or at all times, so they will not be together unless client is okay with it. All pets will be on a leash unless yard is fenced in for them to safely go outside to play. While in the fenced yard I will be there the entire time to supervise play time and to give the attention they need.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better place to board our dog! DeRee and her husband took great care of Apollo and sent us updates daily. On top of all that they took him in on very short notice, so we’re extremely grateful for that as well. Will use again!”

“Kallie is very kind and very knowledgeable about dogs. My Charlie was given a lot of attention and excellent care during his stay in her home.

“I’m very blessed to have found Sharon. She’s a keeper!!! I recommend her without reservation. Your fur babies will be loved and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed in her care.”

About: I have experience with pets of all ages, including energetic puppies who need consistency, basic training reinforcement, and lots of playtime, as well as senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication, or extra care and comfort. I’m very attentive to routines and will stick closely to your pet’s normal schedule to help reduce stress. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I love being outside and spending time with animals. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. “Wendy was absolutely amazing with Remington, and he was very happy with her, and her family. If anyone needs a dog sitter I highly recommend Wendy, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Wendy. Remy thanks you too. ?❤️”

“Bethani has been great! We’ve boarded our Great Dane with her a few times now and she’s been accommodating, helpful and friendly. She sends updates and pics letting us know how our dog is doing. Whether short weekends or multi-week stays, it’s been a blessing to not have to worry about our dog. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Smokeybear did well. Christina took very good care of him. I could tell she loves all animals and treated Smokey as one of her own pets. He seemed very happy after his stay there Thank you Christina.”

“We cannot say enough about Katelyn and how she took such excellent care of our Charlie. She treated him like he was her own baby. She sent us so many pictures so we felt great while we were away. I cannot thank her enough! Charlie definitely fell in love with her. When we came today to get him, he seemed sad to leave her. Charlie obviously had a wonderful time! We will never trust anyone to care for Charlie except Katelyn in the future. And I know Charlie will be looking forward to being with her too!! If you want to feel comfortable leaving your baby with someone while you are away I highly recommend Katelyn. She is the real deal!!! Kathleen Calabrese”
