About: I was an accredited dog trainer with Petsmart. Now I am a veterinary assistant in school to be a veterinary technician. I have kennel experience and I foster dogs from rescues and shelters. About: Welcome to Pecor's Pups! My wife and I have a lifetime of experience caring for all sorts of animals. We love dogs, especially. I have a veterinary care background, as I used to be a vet tech. I also have a Zoology degree and am experienced with various different types of animals and the care thereof. We have an energetic - yet very gentle - Golden Retriever and a rambunctious Great Pyrenees mix so all dogs staying with us must get along with other dogs. We would be willing to separate our pups for periods of time to give your little guy/girl one-on-one time, if that is your preference. We do have the ability to block off areas of the home to separate (from my dogs, or if you have more than one dog and they need separation) if needed. We have a large fenced in yard that is treated monthly to prevent fleas in the area. They can get all the playtime they need! If you don't wish for that, though, then that is not a problem either. I have a very comfortable environment for any and all animals who stay with me, with several dog beds that are washed and sanitized after each stay (and in between often) as well as tons of puzzle toys and enrichment activities if they're interested in that. Otherwise, we will just cuddle and hang out! I will stay strict with any and all schedules (feeding, treats, play time, potty time, medicines, etc) that you provide, but if you don't have a specific schedule for your dog, then I will put them on my dogs' feeding, play, treat, and potty schedule (except for younger or older puppies that may need a little more accommodation in that department) I am very easy-going and easy to deal with. I will also send as many updates via text as you want, with photos and "report cards" of your little ones activities for the day. We also provide baths, nail trims and ear cleanings! Let me know what you may need during your stay with us! If you have any further questions about me or our home and/or our dog and the services we provide, do not hesitate to reach out. We own two businesses from home (Pecor's Pups and another business) so we have a lot of time to dedicate to your pet(s) and their needs! I have a fenced in yard and two floors (the downstairs is currently under partial construction to make Pecor's Pups even more accommodating and cozy!) I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . I worked a couple of years as a big dog camp counselor, but am now retired. I have a secure privacy fence in backyard, and a designated “doggie bedroom” in my house. About: I was an accredited dog trainer with Petsmart. Now I am a veterinary assistant in school to be a veterinary technician. I have kennel experience and I foster dogs from rescues and shelters. I begin my new job July 6th so I am open to board/house sit/train. I will be working 8am-5pm at the local animal shelter as the veterinary assistant. So I can also train dogs after work. I was the dog trainer at Petsmart I also worked home health care for many years. I was a cna for 16 years prior to switching to dog training. I had a change of heart and decided to change to the career I wanted to do the most which was work with dogs. I am a dog trainer and we can do in home training or meet at the park for training. No flexi leads we can use a 20 foot training leash if having room to run is an issue for you.
