About: I am a teacher, so I am patient when situations or chaos may arise. I am looking to make a little bit of extra money to help support my family. I have had dogs my whole life from small dogs to big dogs so I have plenty of experience. I am a teacher, so not available weekdays from 6-4 but can do anything after that time! About: I have loads of experience! From fostering dogs to being a licensed vet tech of 10 years!!! I decided I wanted a different direction and starting my own business and pet sit on the side. “I had a church event to attend, but my plans for my dog Gibbs didn't work out. I reached out to Ryan for last-minute daycare, and he responded within 15 minutes saying he could take care of him for the day. I dropped Gibbs off and felt very at ease knowing he was with Ryan. Throughout the day, I received seven updates and pictures showing how Gibbs was doing. When I picked him up, he seemed happy and had been well looked after. I'm planning to drop Gibbs off again in two days. This is the second occasion that Ryan and his family have taken care of my dog, Gibbs. When I got there to drop him off, Ryan came out to greet him, and Gibbs was thrilled to see him. Throughout the day, I received both pictures and a video showing the fun he was having with the family's dogs. I believe that Gibbs really enjoys his time with Ryan and his family. About: I have taken care of many fur babies since I was 6 years old. Most of the family animals have had health issues that has taught me how to administer medication, give baths, clip nails, and more. Cat and dog friendly! I am available everyday of the week except Sunday 11am-11pm! I can also stay in home over nights upon request. Sundays reserved for sittings only. I currently have two cats who are very shy so I do not offer over night stays in my own home. However, I am more than happy to do over nights in the clients home. I come home for lunch everyday at 12 and let them get some steps in. I’m back home for the night around 5pm and spend the rest of the night with them I have an accessible, pet-friendly apartment with no other animals. I can walk them around for all the sniffs and secure them back in my unit.
About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.

About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I also have a fenced in backyard so if you’re interested in a play date, message me and we can work something out! My boys love new friends. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well with other cats, but he LOVES dogs. He was a rescue as a kitten from the clinic I worked in, so he grew up around the dog boarding kennels and 100% thinks he’s one of them. I know Rover is for dogs and cats, but if you or anyone you know is looking for assistance with farm animals, I can help there too. I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. I’m happy to provide drop in visits and walks in client’s homes. As mentioned previously, I do have animals of my own and would be open to bringing a dog to my house if they are friendly and play well with others. I have a fenced in backyard that my dogs love. I cannot bring other cats into my house due to my own cat’s distaste for others, but he is fine with dogs.

I have experience caring for multiple dogs and cats at a time or both dogs and cats in the same household. I have one large dog and two cats of my own and am very accustomed to the routines of any and all pets.

“Have never used Rover before but I have to say I am a believer!!! Rachel and Cody were super easy to deal with. I have 2 older dogs and one 1-1/2 year old pit that has been fixed but still “wired for sound” and very needy. They came and picked up all three dogs, beds, food, treats, and instructions and delivered them back which was the best money I have ever spent!
