About: From my experience in shelter care and veterinary medicine, I am very comfortable with caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I am very used to dealing with seizures and the safety precautions that go along with them. About: I’ve owned different breeds of dogs from pit bulls to chihuahuas. Growing up I was the dog sitter for everyone around. About: I enjoy taking care of dogs. They all have their own unique personalities and are so loving! I enjoy being a calm consistent presence. I take pride in owners knowing and feeling like their family is safe, secure and getting the attention needed. I know leaving your pet can be stressful but trust me they will be left in great hands. I work in the education field so I am mostly available on the weekends. We have several breaks throughout the year, so I am also available during our breaks. I am able to follow any routines that mimick life at home so your pet will feel comfortable while you're away. Your pets are free to walk around my home, I can crate if that's your preference. About: Since I was 12 I’ve cared for the family pets, including dogs, cats, birds and fish. My friends have trusted me with their pups while away on vacation and their feline pets too. I’m currently working from home, From 8am to 5pm. So I do have a lot of time throughout the day and weekends. This part time job would be just perfect for me. About: Growing up in a heavily animal-oriented household, I fell in love with caring for animals of all kinds. With a mother who is a professional groomer and previously a vet tech, I was exposed to dogs and animals of all breeds, temperaments, ages, and more. About: Back in 2014, I attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology, graduated early with my diploma in Assistance Animal Laboratory Technicians, also with a certification in Purina Mills Animal Care Course. I have done an internship with North Shelby Animal Shelter as well as Bartlett Animal Shelte, where I took stray dogs/ abandoned out for walks and to play. Most of the dogs I encountered with at the shelter were sweet and loving dogs that just need a friend and time to spend with a person. I treated those dogs as my own. I adopted my German Shepherd when he was about 6 months old. I was told he would need obedience training. Instead, I spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and working with him myself. He’s now able to sit and stay while I throw his ball and then wait for his release command before running after it. That took patience, consistency, and a lot of trust-building. Training my pupper taught me so much about working with dogs. I’m comfortable with pets who have big personalities, lots of energy, anxiety, quirks, or just need a little extra patience. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, respect your pet’s routine, and care for them like they are my own. I’m currently working occasional shifts, which gives me excellent availability for pet care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. Safety always comes first for me. I’m the type of person who will double and triple check important details, such as doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, and anything else needed to keep your pet safe. I take pride in creating a calm, safe environment for my own pets, and I would do the same for any pet in my care. Trust is a big part of letting someone care for your animals. About: Animals are human. I’m very patient and lovable. We loss out pet Yorkie of old age the age of 14. We travel played in park did videos. So I think it’s my calling to help your pet friendly member to live a humble life like my pet Lexy. I love cats also. About: My kennel is family run and provides personal, loving service. I have 7 stalls available, each with a doggie door leading to an enclosed outdoor area. Nestled in the woods just south of Millington, your furry friend will enjoy privacy, nature and the love of three teenage daughters, under my supervision, in your absence. If you would prefer only an adult handling your pet, that will be respected. I know your pet has individual needs, and I'm here to meet them. The kennel is located on my property, so I am constantly present and available. Pets will be fed, walked, given treats or medication, and played with on your requested schedule. Each dog has their own stall and a personal fenced in outdoor area that is accessible all day. There is a double stall available for an additional fee if you would like to leave them with more space. There is a larger fenced area where they can be let out to play daily, with other dogs or alone. I am also available to leash walk them around our 30 acres of grass and woods. I want your pet to be relaxed and enjoy their time with us, so just tell me what you want and I'll make it happen.
