She sent multiple pictures of Luna each day, keeping us up to date with their activities and helping us feel like we weren’t so far away. Even though our booking was super last minute for the weekend, Deborah’s place was perfectly prepared for Luna’s stay. Her home is easy to find and located in a quiet residential neighborhood without through traffic. When we arrived for drop off, Deborah had made an adorable hand-decorated sign which she pinned on her front door welcoming us to “Luna’s Weekend Retreat”. 🌺 She welcomed us inside and I’ve never seen Luna take to a new place so quickly; she immediately made herself at home in the spa-like cloud bed which had been made fresh for her and lined with a curated selection of dog toys for her choosing. She didn’t even get up when we were leaving, which has never happened before at a drop off! We were put so at ease leaving Luna in Deborah’s care for the weekend, and we’re thrilled to receive pictures of their adventures exploring the neighborhood trail, getting brushes and pedicures, and just generally being loved and cared for as if Luna was Deborah’s own pupper to love and dote on. ❤️ Luna’s well behaved and easy to care for, but is also quietly anxious and afraid of loud noises. She is a rescued staffy and has “resting ASPCA face” much of the time, even with us, so I never blame a sitter for her expressions, but we can always tell from seeing her eyes, brows, and ears in photos how relaxed and comfortable she is, and Deborah was somehow able to put Luna at ease, even on 4th of July weekend with scary fireworks popping! We’re so grateful to have found Deborah as our new go to sitter. Now we’re going to have to make up and plan new trips just to give Luna a reason to get to go adventure and sleep over with her new friend! 🥰 Thanks endlessly, Deborah!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11yo. I’ve cared for Australian Shepherds, Poodles, Rat Terriers, Cairn Terriers, Papillions, Irish Wolfhounds, Pit Bulls, Bichon Frisés, and more. I have four dogs now: German Shepherd Mix, German Shorthaired Pointer, and two Pembroke Corgis. I’m familiar with small and large dogs. I’m non-judgmental and understanding if your baby has separation-anxiety. I work 8AM to 4PM Monday through Thursday, but am free to watch your babies in the evening and Friday through Sunday. I provide drop-in visits and house-sitting. I have a fenced-in yard, two crates and four dogs all ready to be their new best friend! I do prefer to watch them in your home, not mine as I have one dog that isn’t the most friendly.

My availability is mostly weekdays, but I am open to the occasional evening, weekend or overnight. (We have several seniors that need medication on a schedule, so I fully understand the importance of that). About: I am such an animal lover, and I like to think they love me too;) I have owned dogs my whole life and recently adopted a cat, Willow! I’m excited to meet and care for your pets:) I am a student at Middle Tennessee State University with classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This means I am available often for your pets! I also have a dog and cat myself. My daily schedule involves me waking up and letting my dog out while preparing their breakfast. After they eat, we get some snuggles in until it’s time to go potty. Later on, it time for dinner and then a nightly walk 30 minutes to an hour after dinner has been served. That ends our adventure for the day! For Drop-Ins: I stop by for feedings and enrichment for between 30 minutes to an hour. I make sure they care squared away and everything is locked up before I leave. For Walks: It’s simple … we just go for walks. 30 minutes to an hour or whatever set path and time per appointment. For House-Sitting: I set a time for me to come over. I stay for the duration of the appointment set and bring my own necessities so that I don’t have to leave the premises. I stay within your home, where your babies are most comfortable, and provide them with company and a set schedule. Before I confirm a booking, I will ALWAYS set up a meet-and-greet. I need to be able to sit down with the fur-babies and parents so we can get a good view of the vibes and to see if I would be a good fit. These meet-and-greets are NOT OPTIONAL and refusal will result in a CANCELED BOOKING! Sitting should be a comfortable experience for pet, pet parent, and sitter. Checking the vibes and getting details is critical for success.

I’ve also had previous dog walking and sitting experience as a Wag! Walker. I think that I have a true calling with pets. When I was just about 11 years old I would walk and care for my neighbors dog that was a huge Mastiff, and never thought anything of it. “Deborah was so great with our timid Luna! She’s the best sitter we’ve ever used (even including our friends and family, lol! 🫣). Deborah was always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She sent multiple pictures of Luna each day, keeping us up to date with their activities and helping us feel like we weren’t so far away. Even though our booking was super last minute for the weekend, Deborah’s place was perfectly prepared for Luna’s stay. Her home is easy to find and located in a quiet residential neighborhood without through traffic. When we arrived for drop off, Deborah had made an adorable hand-decorated sign which she pinned on her front door welcoming us to “Luna’s Weekend Retreat”. 🌺 She welcomed us inside and I’ve never seen Luna take to a new place so quickly; she immediately made herself at home in the spa-like cloud bed which had been made fresh for her and lined with a curated selection of dog toys for her choosing. She didn’t even get up when we were leaving, which has never happened before at a drop off! We were put so at ease leaving Luna in Deborah’s care for the weekend, and we’re thrilled to receive pictures of their adventures exploring the neighborhood trail, getting brushes and pedicures, and just generally being loved and cared for as if Luna was Deborah’s own pupper to love and dote on. ❤️ Luna’s well behaved and easy to care for, but is also quietly anxious and afraid of loud noises. She is a rescued staffy and has “resting ASPCA face” much of the time, even with us, so I never blame a sitter for her expressions, but we can always tell from seeing her eyes, brows, and ears in photos how relaxed and comfortable she is, and Deborah was somehow able to put Luna at ease, even on 4th of July weekend with scary fireworks popping! We’re so grateful to have found Deborah as our new go to sitter. Now we’re going to have to make up and plan new trips just to give Luna a reason to get to go adventure and sleep over with her new friend! 🥰 Thanks endlessly, Deborah!”
