About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.

I have experience working with cats and dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also have experience caring for rabbits as I had my own. Growing up I volunteered at the VCA Adoption center where we took care of the animals looking for homes and spent a few years of my adult life volunteering and running a rescue. About: Growing up my parents allowed my siblings and I to have different kinds of pets, which was amazing, because it allowed me to realize how much I love animals. To me all dogs and cats are babies no matter how old or big they are! I am working a part time job, but that will not stop me from giving pets the best care they could hope for! I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).

Many years of experience, and looking forward to many more! Drop ins and walks are my favorite 😊 All animals of all shapes and sizes make me my best self! And I will die in the line of doggy duty!! You won't regret letting me spend time with your fur baby 😻 I work from home currently so I am always home through the week or at least close by so I can accommodate most needs. :) We have no fence unfortunately but we have plenty of leashes! As far as for someone elses home we take the direction of the owners note and recognize it is the pets home and routine so all of that is respected!
About: I have over 45 yrs of experience in pet care. I was a dog trainer (now partially retired), owned my own pet sitting business for many years, fostered/adopted many rescues and I currently volunteer at and support several rescues. Animals are my heart and soul and I will treat your pets as if they were my own.
