About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life! My family had multiple pets at all times growing up. I am a cat mom myself with shared custody with my twin sister. I offer a pet stranger free home with my own cats staying with my sister while I have guest pets. 🐈 I first began pet sitting in college and primarily serviced young adults and college students. Thus, I have always offered an affordable rate so that regular people can obtain pet sitting services without having to pay expensive boarding fees. 🐶 Although I just started using Rover, I have been sitting for years through friends, family, and referrals! I can provide references for those I have serviced in the past that have not been through the app. 🐈 I am a former President, Vice President, and class representative of the Animal Legal Defense Fund at the University of Tennessee College of Law. I am available any day of the week for boarding. 🐈 Currently, I am not accepting bookings over 2 months in advance. 🐈 For drop in visits and walks, I am available Mon-Fri between 7:30-8:30 a.m., 11:30-1:30 p.m., and after 6 p.m. Available all day Saturday and Sunday beginning 9 a.m. 🐶 Drop off and pickups must occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. 🐈 Meet and greets must occur in the evening and are offered at Sutree Landing Park. Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. If you would like pictures of my home to see where your pet would be staying, feel free to ask! My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.

My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. Throughout the week she sent us constant updates of their shenanigans with both cute and funny pictures of them. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 5 years old when I got my first puppy. Everyone in my family has 3+ dogs, so I have grown up taking care of dogs of all breeds and sizes. The smallest behind a teacup yorkie and the biggest being a full size golden doodle! I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. About: Hi, I’m Maddie. I’ve been surrounded by furry friends my entire life and have been a go-to pet sitter for friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues for several years. I have two sweet cats of my own (Ben & Jerry) and one lovable pup (Maggie), so I truly understand how much your furry family members mean to you. Whether it's boarding, drop in visits, or simply taking your fur babies for a walk, I treat every pet like they're my own - with lots of love, attention, and care. About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets from hamsters to great danes! neighbors, family, & friends have relied on me to take care of their pets by walking, feeding, cuddling, playing, or bathing them! My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”

If boarding at my house, I live with my boyfriend who also has a relatively flexible schedule and can provide care during any hours that I may be away. In my home, pets are treated like family! I have a large yard for playtime, two friendly dogs who love having company, and plenty of toys to keep everyone entertained. I always make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and love while they’re with me. I’m comfortable accommodating different needs and routines, whether that means crating your dog, sticking to a specific feeding or medication schedule, or giving them extra one on one attention. If your dog is used to snuggling up at night, they’re more than welcome to sleep in bed with us and our pups! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I will follow any house rules, schedules, or care instructions you have to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I love going on walks and am always happy to take dogs on adventures, get in plenty of playtime, or simply provide companionship and cuddles based on their personality and needs.
