“We are so thankful for Candice and Matt, and their sweet children, for giving our two pups a fun, safe and loving vacation home while we were out of town! One of our pups has a severe allergy and Candice and Matt were very comfortable and had experience with how to handle a potential issue, which really put our minds at ease. We knew our pups were in the best hands! They also sent updates and photos every day, and we were so happy to see our pups running around their beautiful yard and fitting right into the family. We absolutely recommend Candice and Matt to care for your furbabies!”

“Robin and her family took great care of one-year-old Lincoln during our weekend getaway! Lincoln was a bit anxious upon arrival, but Robin was so patient and considerate and quickly calmed him down. She was great about sending updates while we were away and was quite flexible with our pickup and drop-off times. Lincoln really enjoyed his stay; he was totally zonked when we picked him up the last night! I would highly recommend Robin for your next Rover stay. You won't regret it.”

“Katie I thank you, your Mom, and Justin for looking after Princess and putting up with Gizmo for the last 24 hours. I'm very sorry that Gizmo marked up your home. Is there anything I can do to make up for that? I appreciate the pictures and hope for the most part that Gizmo and Princess had a good time. I'm still working with my rental management company and the homeowner to replace the fence, so I might need y'all to take in the dogs two weeks from today, but it would just be for the day, not overnight. I thank you again Katie and take care! Next time Gizmo come, he'll be coming with the Scout's Honor No Marking Spray; it is good stuff and really works. Please let me know what I can do to make up for his mess to your furniture. Take Care! Natalie”
“Thank you, melissa for taking care of Maya! She always enjoys her visits with you and is usually sad for a couple of days when she comes home. We are so lucky to have you in our neck of the woods!”

“Sherri and Bob love our Grace as much as we do. When we arrive at their house, Grace runs to the door, looking in the window with her tail going a mile a minute with joy! We have never worried about her even while gone for an extended time as we know she will be as well loved and cared for as if we were there. Sherri is great with videos and report cards. You will not regret leaving your precious baby in this loving home!”

I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.

About: I have lifelong experience with cats and a strong understanding of feline behavior, care, and comfort. My first and longest companion was a formerly feral barn cat named Chipper who bonded with me when I was five years old and remained by my side into adulthood. That early, long-term experience taught me how to build trust, read subtle body language, and respect the individual needs of each cat. I currently have a cat named Mac, whom I raised from a bottle baby. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with kitten care, feeding schedules, socialization, and the unique needs of young and developing cats. In addition to personal experience, I volunteered with the Williamson County Animal Shelter, where I worked with a wide range of cats—kittens, seniors, shy or fearful cats, confident adults, and those requiring specialized care. This exposure helped strengthen my skills in safe handling, enrichment, medication support (when needed), and creating a calm environment for cats with varying temperaments. My approach is patient, attentive, and tailored to each individual cat. Whether your cat prefers structured play, quiet companionship, or minimal interaction, I provide reliable and compassionate care based on their comfort level and routine.

Picking up dog sitting would be the perfect opportunity to do what I love on the side. About: I grew up with multiple cats in the house. From inside cats to outside cats I made sure they were fed, hydrated, and inside for a cozy sleep. The first animal we had in the house was a cat and that cat grew old with my grandmother and loved every moment with the family. Shortly after his passing we adopted two more kittens and raised them. They are the most well behaved and potty trained cats. They love to go outside but know they are always welcome to stay inside and always have to come inside before the family goes to bed. Growing up with cats has showed me how to take care, love, and care for the cutest furry animals.
“Alishia is a great neighbor and dog sitter! I highly recommend. She was communicative the whole trip and made sure my dog was fed, had time to potty, and even some cuddles. I felt my dog and home was safe with her visiting when I needed her. Even when my dog fell sick, she went the extra mile to keep me posted and checking on her. I’m glad she is local to Chapel Hill and will be using her services again.”
“Christy was great — she arrived promptly at the agreed times, took good care of our cat, and sent us plenty of pics of him! She was also flexible with timing, when we had a death in the family and needed different dates. Would book her again!”

“Madison exceeded all expectations! Our regular pet sitter had an unexpected emergency right before we left on a two week trip, the longest we’ve ever been away from our two fur babies. Needless to say we were devastated and left scrambling to find a reliable and trustworthy substitution. Madison did a meet and greet beforehand to explain her qualifications, answered any questions we had, and made sure to thoroughly understand the expectations of what we needed done to ensure peace of mind for us. She provided extensive details for us everyday and sent cute pictures of our animals so we could get a glimpse of how they were faring while we were away. She really takes the time to get to know the animals and it is reflected in her outstanding work ethic how much she truly cares. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing a sitter. Thank you Madison for providing excellent care for our babies, you made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing there was once less thing to worry about back home!”

“I’ve used Rover in more cities and states than I can count while traveling with Hal, and the experiences have nearly always been excellent. But Samantha is in a class all her own. She’s professional, loving, enthusiastic, flexible, and genuinely caring — everything you could hope for in someone looking after your dog. Her communication was outstanding, with thoughtful updates and great photos throughout Hal’s stay. I always felt completely at ease knowing he was in her hands. About: What sets me apart is my experience, but mostly patience and care. I was a teacher so my energy always stays calm do theirs does. I’m currently working part time so I have time to play and love on your animals. We might even play poker if the mood hits. No pets in my home, sadly.i wish i was able to, but our lifestyle does not allow for it. Too many unnecessary opportunities unfortunately. Sorry

About: Fun fact I used to be afraid of animals until I was about 12. Now I have 4 cats and have owned 6 dogs over the years. I have trained 3 of them to a basic degree and also own a snake. I love animals of all kinds and more often than not they warm up to me instantly! I am interested in summer work during the off season and am available most days almost anytime with some exceptions. I prefer mornings to mid afternoons but am very flexible! Standard house sitting includes overnight care plus daytime absences up to 4–8 hours depending on the pets’ needs. I also offer constant care for houses and pets for a custom rate depending on the individual and pets schedule! Since I have 4 cats and a human I cant board pets at home. But I have no issues staying over a night if needed, and can easily House-sit, Dog-sit, and Cat-sit in the greater Franklin area! I can feed, play, walk, provide potty breaks, and even teach dogs a trick or two.

About: I grew up with two cats and have always been around dogs with family, neighbors, and friends so I am very familiar with both. I have always loved animals and wanted so many of my own to raise and spoil. As I have been around dogs since I was little, I have never dog sat before but I am so open and ready for this opportunity. I am willing to spend nights, daytimes, and many dog walks with your lovely animals if you will give me the chance. I am a very ambitious and persistent young lady, I love outdoors and having fun but also love staying in and cuddling with fur babies. I currently work a part-time job at a restaurant, those are mostly night shifts ranging from 4-9pm during the summer. I have plenty of mornings to make sure the animal (s) are set up for the night and ready for my attention and care straight after work. I am also a very clean and hygienic person, so your animals and house will be cleaned exactly how expected and left. As I live with my parents I am not sure that they are comfortable with animals staying at the house. This also means that at the parents house I stay at does not have animals which is why I am so excited to help other pet owners so I can get that love I have been missing. The animals in my pictures are from my mother's house who I stayed with my whole life until I moved in with my father at 18. Therefore, I am able to stay over for however long at the clients house. I have the biggest heart for people and animals in need and love when I can show them the love and affection they need. I am very good with schedules, setting alarms, and following rules.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 10! I've had the privilege of volunteering at a shelter with all kinds of dogs who need love, working as a veterinary nurse learning the ins and outs of pet health, nannying a sweet bloodhound, and working at a pet boarding site. I became a dog sitter in my community in my hometown and started caring for all kinds of dogs regularly. It has become my absolute favorite pastime. I am comfortable administering medication, training, taking extra care of your senior pup, and working with aggressive/anxious dogs. I can't wait to meet and care for your dogs! Pet care is my main job! Based on what we talk about during our meet n greet, I will shape my schedule around your pets needs and routines. I'm very flexible! How I care for your dogs in your home is really up to you and your dog's preferences and routine. If you have an active dog, we can play outside, take walks, and do some mentally stimulating activities. If your dog is more of a couch potato, we can do a little exercise and then cuddle the day away. I am comfortable working on training and will accommodate what works best for you guys.

About: I have worked at a dog daycare for over 2 1/2 years! i’ve worked with groups of dogs ranging from 15-35 at once, ive worked with “aggressive” and reactive dogs. taking care of them and working together with them i live at home and i have 5 dogs! one is my babygirl, (the other 4 are my family’s) shes a rescue, i got her about 2 years ago. what i didn’t expect was how many triggers/trauma she has from her previous home. i work with her every day shes done so good since, still needs more time but shes my soulmate in a dog my home has about almost an acre, fenced in yard! lots of holes that my furbabies created for digging! there is a shed that we have planned to remove sometime. not to sound alarming but there is a grape vine, no grapes grow just leaves. and your furbabies will always be supervised. the fence is about 4-5 feet so if you have a jumper, they can still come just probably on a long leash which i have if you don’t.
“Leigh- Ann has been great. She was so good we hired her for a second week. Bella, our boxer, has quickly adapted to her. I would highly recommend Leigh-Ann to anyone who is interested in a new dog walker!”

“Isabella was prompt with booking and prompt when I asked questions and shared pics and info while Jethro was in her care:) So kind and professional! She went above and beyond when we realized Jethro had an ear infection! Thank you Isabella! We will definitely have Jethro stay with her again:)”

Take Care! Natalie”
“Pam took great care of our dog while we were on vacation! It was evident that he had a great time with how happy and comfortable he looked at pick-up. We would definitely recommend!”

“We were so pleased with kaitlin and Brent caring and watching Kafka while we were away. They were communicative and sent pictures daily. We will definitely be using them on our next trip. We know Kafka truly adores their family and their fur baby, as well.”

“Alexis was amazing! Her son and their dog welcomed Snowball and they treated her like their own. It was our dogs first time sleeping over with someone other than us and we couldn't have asked for a more loving family. The daily updates with pictures was just the icing on the cake.”

“Kate was happy and healthy when we picked her up. Kristin was very nice and was good about updating me and sending pictures. She has very friendly dogs. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Max stayed for over 2wks with Jennifer and Michael. They sent me pictures regularly and Max came back with as much energy as he was dropped off with…so I know he was played with plenty. It was great getting pictures of him with all the other dogs. He’s normally the only dog at home, so I know he loved playing with the other dogs while he was there. It was great to see him pulled in as part of their family while we were gone.”

“Adrienne was fabulous. She watched my little papillon Belle for a week and I couldn’t be more satisfied. She sent updates and pictures. She was very kind and I will definitely use her again. Highly recommend”

“My Labradoodle Bubbie was booked with Michelle over Memorial Day holiday. I was worried how Bubbie would act at first because he has some anxiety issues and wary of new people. Michelle let him get used to her at his own pace and within a few days he was lovingly laying in her lap and socializing with the other dogs. Bubbie came home happy and healthy just like his old self, which is the biggest compliment. I would definitely use Michelle again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Winston had a wonderful time with Anel! She sent many photos of their walks and daily adventures. Thank you for taking such great care of Winston and for being flexible!”

“Allison did an amazing job taking care of Misha for a week. Allison posted photos ans videos on a daily basis. Misha has had plenty of exercise, and even made friends with Priya, Allison's dog. I would highly recommend Allison!!!”

“Second time having Estefania watch Stewie for me, this time for a whole week. Stew had a great time. Estefania makes him feel so safe and comfortable and at home with her. I don’t have to stress or worry at all while I’m away.”

About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo.
