I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. About: I routinely dogsit for family and friends and keep up a happy, active lifestyle for my own two senior dogs. We are relaxed with dog etiquette. They may get on our furniture and play/roughhouse inside. We have a weimaraner and a dachshund. The dachshund mostly keeps to himself but will sometimes play with other small dogs. We also have an adult cat. My kids are versed in safety with new animals, but please no dogs who are aggressive with children or other pets - Thanks in advance!
