She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. I was worried about my little Otis being anxious about being left as he has serious separation anxiety ( OK, we both do ! ) but as Victoria and I were chatting - Otis happily bouncing around exploring her and Charles' lovely lawn she teased him over for a pet and before I knew it he was in her arms - looking very happy I might add! I had a few things to transfer from my car to my sons - typically high stress time for me, trying to keep track of Otis - who won't get more than a step or two away, so I don't step on him. He just go cozier and cozier and sunk lower and lower into Victoria's arm. I guess I wasn't surprised to receive a photo by text, of him laying in her lap before it was even dark out. Pick up was easy - Victoria and Charles' garage door were open and it was lit like a beacon in the rainy night - just a quick report from Victoria ( he's fine ! ) as it was a long day and we were on our way. This is my first chance to reach out and its been three days - sorry guys! Do you need a sitter? Are Victoria and Charles available? Book them!! ( I'd even settle for just Charles : 0 : o : ) . Victoria and Charles are my first choice - looking forward to letting Otis trim their lawn again.”

I work from home so I have tons of flexibility for daily drop-ins, walks, and boarding needs. About: I’ve had dogs my entire adult life. My three dogs live inside and are treated like part of the family (because they are). I worked a couple of years as a big dog camp counselor, but am now retired. I have a secure privacy fence in backyard, and a designated “doggie bedroom” in my house. As a retiree and a homebody, my daily routine already revolves around my dogs. We have a standard schedule throughout the day with many play and potty breaks outside. As mentioned above, I have a privacy fence in my backyard so the pups can play and potty securely. They are never without supervision. I will crate if needed.

About: I've had dogs and cats of all sizes ever since I can remember. I currently have two dogs, a 90 pound lab and a 50 pound Weimaraner mix! Both love to be outside, go on walks, and cuddle up! I'd love to help you out in any way shape or form, including, but not limited to, watching your pets, walking your pets, and even letting them out on potty breaks! I work part-time, but my shifts are never longer than 6 hours. In those times, I live with my family- who is also available for our dogs. I love post-dinner walks with my doggies and spending as much time as possible outside with them. I have a 6 foot fenced in yard that's about half an acre, so plenty of space for the doggos to run around! I have two other dogs – a lab and a hound, that left to play but equally as much sleep. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.
About: In addition to having dogs of various breeds for the majority of my life, I have been dogsitting for the last two years. I am also experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds as a result of working in dog daycare facilities and in grooming salons across the last three years. I also volunteer with the animal shelter in the area, so I know how important it is to meet dogs where they're at. About: I've been dogsitting since I could drive at 16. I have worked at multiple kennels, one specializing in young, high-energy working dogs, and the other specializing in aggressive and fear-reactive dogs with bite histories. I love the big dogs, and am comfortable with breeds up to and including Great Danes, Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Newfies, etc. I am used to dog training as well, and am more than willing to maintain any training rules you may have for your dog. My personal dog is a certified therapy dog (she will not be accompanying while dogsitting). I love training, but have no certifications, just dog training kennel experience.

“I have boarded my dog with Kristy twice now, and it’s been a great experience both times! My biggest issue with conventional boarding facilities was that no one seemed to be able to give Rocky his medications correctly, but Kristy has been on top of it. She communicates well, sends pictures, and updates frequently. Rocky is an anxious dog and can be very particular about his space, but Kristy didn’t have any issues with this and knows dog behavior well. As long as she’s available I’ll book in the future!”
