About: I’ve had animals all my life, and would watch my friends pets growing up too. I’ve had everything from giant breads to little dogs and love them all. We have cats and dogs of our own. So it is part of our daily routine for feedings, potty breaks, and going for walks. We treat our fur babies as part of our family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! About: I’ve had dogs and even cats my whole life. I know how stressful it can be to choose someone to watch your dog and now that I have retired a bit early, I can focus on providing the love and care your dog deserves. I have had plenty of pets over the years, with the most recent one living to be 16 years old. Now I care for my children's pets when they go out of town! All dogs seem to be drawn to me and I practically live by the saying that "dogs are a good judge of character." I've retired early so I would love nothing more than to spend more time with animals. I am available most any time of the day and night! I live in a very safe neighborhood with a large fenced backyard. I mow the "turf" very often so that the dogs can play on "Brian's Field." About me: Raised in the country surrounded by both family pets and farm animals, caring for critters is second nature to me. I am a doting grandma who lives too far away from my kids to see my grandchildren so I channel that attention toward my Australian Shepherd, Gumbo, and my new puppy, Boo, the Yorki-Poo. After I lost my husband and best friend I found the best way to cope is to help others and keep busy. If I can help you out with your dog or cat while you're away, let me know. I can use the extra income but also I need to feel useful. I keep my fee low. Tips are appreciated. I board at my home in the country near Dukedom, TN. Think of boarding here as bringing your dog to Grandma's house. There will be some spoiling and if pet parents permit, homemade dog cookies! Currently I am home all the time. Your dog will be with me and my dog while here. Gumbo (30 pound neutered male) likes to play fetch or frisbee and we do this daily. I feed my dog early morning (6-7) and early evening (6-7). I give a lot of outside time when weather allows. I give my dog a lot of attention and your dog(s) will get the same. We are a pack and your dog will be part of that pack when he/she stays with us. I live on 6 acres near Dukedom, TN. My large backyard has a chain link fence. If your dog likes to play ball or frisbee this is a great yard to do it in. In addition to the backyard, I have a large field that I keep a path mowed around just for walks but to go there your dog(s) must have excellent recall or be leashed trained very well. I don't want to be pulled around or have to struggle to hold them. Dogs really like going to the field. "No" is the word I use to stop misbehavior. If there is a different word you use, let me know. It is good to know what words/phrases your dog recognizes. It'd be great if you write those down and give it to me. I have carpet throughout my living quarters so PLEASE only housebroken dogs. I give numerous long outdoor time between 5 AM to 9 PM. Potty breaks are every couple of hours. Your pet must be vaccinated! Bordatella vacs are recommended every six-to-twelve months. if your dog frequents places with other dogs, get 6 month vaccine. My dogs are vaccinated. In the warmer months, it is very important that dogs have a flea and tick preventative or have some defense against these nasty bugs because both are out here. I keep grass mowed but they still get on the dogs so make sure they have a preventative. My dogs wear clothing treated with Sawyer flea/tick spray and I have had great success with that method along with a monthly prescribed medicine. Bring your pet's food/bowls/treats along with feeding instructions. Filling out pet profile in depth on Rover helps tremendously! It has an area for vet info and anything I would need to know about your dog can be on their profile! Gumbo has dog toys that he shares but if your dog has a fave, bring it. If your dog must sleep in a bed or crate, bring it. Sometimes a sweater or anything with your scent on it comforts a dog that misses his/her owner. You're welcome to bring that. If he/she has a brush that you want me to use, bring it. I can brush dogs but have no proper facility to bathe. In the summer, I have a small dog pool to cool off in and plenty of shade in the backyard. NO cell service out here so I do not carry my phone with me. I check my messages several times thru the day but I'm not like most that have their phone on them. It does me no good. Many rural people pay for cell service despite not getting it at their homes. I have a landline that works providing my internet service works. If there is anything else you need to know, do not hesitate to ask. I have my profile set to only take in three dogs at a time. I have two so I think five is enough. I am very attentive so rest assured I am keeping a good eye on them.

About: I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding center for a of couple years, I have also fostered a few dogs and cats. Additionally, I grew up and have always had a dog of my own, my baby recently passed away. I’ve worked with sick dogs, shy dogs and rambunctious dogs! I have a labradoodle that is very well socialized and he loves meeting other doggos! I will take care of your fur babies like they are my own :) I will only host 2 dogs (maximum) at one time. I do this to insure safety for all the pups. I work from home as an insurance auditor. So my schedule is super flexible to allow me to help with your pet care needs :) I live in a very nice apartment complex with a fenced in dog park area. I can assist with crate/house training. I will follow any rules/guidelines provided by the owner.

About: I have loved and cared for animals (dogs and cats) since I was a small child. I love giving big hugs and getting dog kisses. In that time I was also the vet tech, groomer, trainer, personal Vizsla chef, bone delivery girl and I became a professional tennis ball and flippy flop launcher. I have significant experience in puppy/baby dinosaur stages all the way to senior care. I have experience with rambunctious pups that may have a minor injury, allergies and medication administration. I sadly lost my girl a few years ago and have been keeping friends and family's pets since and I've loved getting some puppy snuggles! I am currently working as a nurse and I work one week on and one week off. In my weeks off, I have plenty of time to go walking at the park or hang out at home. My home is very dog friendly and allowed on all couches, chairs and beds. I have an orthopedic dog bed also available and lots of toys! My yard is partially fenced in with no gate on either end. All pups will be leashed when outside the home. No exceptions.

I have had plenty of pets over the years, with the most recent one living to be 16 years old. Now I care for my children's pets when they go out of town! I feed her a rice, chicken, greens, frozen fruit and salmon oil diet since I’ve heard kibble can be equal to fast food. She loves walks & trail hikes.

I have dog sat all different kinds of breeds (my biggest two were a St. Bernard and English Mastiff). I have also recently gained experience in keeping cats. Feed, water, and played with daily. My schedule can more around a little, so I’m always free before 3 pm or any time after 3 pm. I am very flexible and can help to accommodate with what you need for your pets! I have a half acre backyard, with clean, low cut grass, and minimal risks. I have a large home with plenty of toys, a great neighborhood for walks/runs, and the ability to keep up with the more energetic type while still being able to calm down and relax with the chilled type of pup.

I have worked for a vet for two years so I’m aware of common behaviors, illness and I know when something is an emergency.
