About: I have been dog sitting since i was 15. whether it was my friends, neighbors, family, i have dog sat for long or short periods of time. sometimes it has just been feeding and letting them out for a quick minute, a full weekend or week, or even 3 full months. i have also watched anywhere from 1-6 dogs at a time. i am very experienced and have had animals since i was born, so i’ve grown up around them and get along with them very well. i am a huge animal lover, so i make sure to give them lots of love and attention, especially because i know they are already in distress with their owner being gone. please feel free to reach out to me, and i have multiple references as well!! i do have kind of a chaotic schedule at the moment. however, i am an early riser so i would have plenty of time to get them the attention they need that morning (if needed) and would make sure i can attend to them in a timely manner! if i am needed to stay the night, that is totally fine with me. the dogs can sleep wherever you prefer or what they are used to, even with me, so that they are comfortable. i care for them based off of what you tell me they are used to, or how you would like, and make that work with my schedule. even if i am not needed to stay the night, i still can stay over there for a few hours to make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention.

About: I have worked with cats for nearly 10 years. I worked at a rescue and an animal hospital with cats. I clean ears , clip nails if they allow daily wipe downs if needed and if tolerated bathing as well. I currently own a female gray tabby and a torti Maine coon mix. I love all cars big and small. Our Maine coon is almost a whopping 20 lbs!

Some animals require minimal attention and supervision while others need constant attention. I will happily tune to whatever needs the animal may or may not have. I’m in between jobs at the moment, and even after getting a job I would still love to help out on weekends and whenever I can. While in your home I will respect every guideline provided while also respecting the boundaries a guest should have when in someone else’s home. If your pet makes a mess I will clean it, among making sure they are behaving well. While there are times where pets might not listen or might be difficult, it’s understandable when they have so much going on in their little worlds.

When we arrived she greeted us and was so welcoming and sweet. He doesn’t travel well, he gets nervous so he got a little sick before arriving and she was patient and kind about it all, even allowing us to use her bathroom to clean him up. It made my husband and feel better about leaving him, we had a good feeling he was in good hands. Dana was involved and she sent pictures/videos of our baby often. She even texted us daily checking in and he really seemed to enjoy his time there and it was like his own vacation. About: I have always been an animal lover and had pets all my life. I have rescued and fostered many dogs and have also been a foster fail a few times because I became so attached. I am down to one pup now named Charlie. He is my pride and joy and he is spoiled rotten. I have volunteered at the Humane Society , been a pet sitter for many of my friends in the past. So I decided why not do it as a job and then I can be around them a lot more. So that's what I am doing. I have lots of references that will vouch that I indeed do love animals. I always treat other people’s animals like my own, so you can rest assured that your fur babies are in good hands! My schedule is fairly flexible over weekends and holidays. I also offer home visits for special needs patients that may need medications or fluids administered. I always have pet owners take the lead. There is no such thing as “high maintenance” and am happy to oblige any pet parent requests Taking care of animals is part of my daily routine at home and at work and I enjoy every single minute of it. There is no such thing as a needy pet or pet parent. I treat all pets with patience and compassion. I understand that all pets are unique in how they communicate with us and am always willing to take the extra time to make sure they’re comfortable.

About: I’ve only had three dogs of my own in my life, but that doesn’t mean I can’t handle them. I’m able to control my girlfriends 120 pound American Akita not only because the likes me but because I have the strength to handle him. I have a big soft spot for dogs so I can always be trusted with yours! I’m frequently available and can leave at a moments notice. I’m most reliable in the afternoons and on weekends! I wouldn’t mind to delay doing my dishes some more if it means I get to see your puppy :) I’m currently taking care of my cat with my girlfriend and we make sure to brush her everyday and give her her medicine. When I’m needed, I help my friend out by babysitting her dog for a few hours and or give my girlfriends Akita a walk.

“Derek accepted my request to sit for my new 5mo pup while I had to travel for work for 3 weeks (which last minute became 4 weeks) and he was nothing short of fantastic the entire time. He has great communication with at all times respective to his working hours. He is happy to sending pics/videos as often as you'd like and at request when you're missing your baby extra hard. I only had my baby for 3 weeks before I had to travel so she had barely any training under her feet when Derek took her in, and he was so forgiving & sympathetic of any negative behavior which was above and beyond what I could have asked for. He has has his own dog & a foster that he made sure to introduce with my puppy appropriately and kept an eye on all their interactions together while they were all adjusting (which didn't take long at all, and my pup adored her well-behaved temporary brothers!). Derek was my first experience with Rover and I don't plan to seek out any other sitter unless Derek is unavailable, and he will my first recommendation to anyone else to need a sitter in Memphis.
