About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: Although I am starting fresh on Rover, I have cat sat for friends/family in the past; I am looking to gain more experience with cats so I can offer more specialties when needed. I currently know how to provide oral medications (pills/liquid). Whether you need me to be home all day or just stop by daily to feed em & give them some loving, I can definitely do that! I offer meet & greets ahead of time so I can meet both you & your cat to get everyone comfier. About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. About: My whole life I’ve been around animals… big and small. I grew up on and off a farm, as my dad is a Large / Small animal veterinarian! I’ve always had lots of animals in my home and love taking care of them (and lots of treats)! Also, I do move back to college in August. So Sioux City soon to come :) I’m currently home from college! I am a nursing major at Morningside university in Sioux City. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, and needed a fun summer gig! I can take your animals on long or short walks.. or just out to potty! I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)

I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.

About: As far back as I can remember, my family always had at least one dog/cat, each one of them holding a special place in my heart. I, now, am a proud dog parent of two Blue Heelers, Izzy and Brutus. I love every kind of dog and cat. I have experience with elder dog care and puppy care. I have a job where I work Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. All 12 hour days. So, I would be completely booked up on those days. The other days I would be incredibly happy to spend time with your little loved one! I would make sure to have clear and open conversations with you about your animals throughout the day/night. I can give updates on when they go to the bathroom. I can, also, send pictures of them.
About: I have been a pet owner my whole life and have been doing pet sitting for friends and family since I can remember. I seem to connect with pets better than a humans :😊 I have never met a pet I don’t love or love me back. About: I have trained and owned animals my whole life. I graduated with a veterinary assistant degree from western Iowa tech in Sioux city Iowa. Animals are my world and I love working and hanging out with them daily. I own a dog and 2 cats and love to cuddle them and train them so they can become and live their best life possible. About: I have lived on a farm my whole life therefore I am very familiar with dogs! I have worked at a vet clinic before so I am comfortable with different breeds:) I recently had a baby girl and I would love to stay home with her as much as possible! So in order to do so… I’d love to get active again and take your dogs on walks and/or get out of the house to drop in and visit your pets! Living on a farm has never required me to walk my dogs but I feel that I am responsible and trustworthy enough to walk your dog(s) safely!
