“My husband and I left our 3 dogs with Melissa for 4 days and she took great care of them! Our dogs had never stayed with a sitter before, so I was nervous to leave them, but she made the transition easy and they were more than comfortable at her home. One of our dogs is very anxious and tends to be fearful of new people, and even she settled in well and seemed content during her stay. Melissa also did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog and keeping up with her medication schedule, as well as handling our youngest dog who is still learning his manners. She kept us updated throughout the trip with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dogs were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. We came home to three happy pups and would absolutely book with Melissa again. Highly recommend!”

We had to book a last minute boarding, but she was super accommodating and kind about it. She kept us updated with photos the whole time, and we could see Fritz was really being loved and cared for. By the time we picked him up, he was super comfortable there and seemed to absolutely love Larysa’s sweet older dog, Carter! “Literally the best dog sitter ever! Itzel has good reviews for a reason. My 3 month old puppy Suki stayed with her for 5 days. She kept me updated with pictures and videos and she made sure she got her energy out at the dog park and walks! My pupper was very happy during her stay and even made friends with Itzel's two dog. I was very relax while I was traveling, knowing my puppy was getting the greatest care and love. Itzel took care of my Suki like she was her own! “Itzel is a very loving and compassionate animal caretaker! From the moment I met her, and throughout the entire boarding period, I felt comfortable with the care my cats received. Itzel made a trip to my home to meet my cats a few days before the boarding period. I could tell right away that everything was going to be more than alright. Itzel drove back to my home to pick up my cats upon commencement of the boarding period. During the time I was on vacation for over two weeks, Itzel sent me numerous videos of my cats which showed how well they were adjusting, and the wonderful care they were receiving. I could tell right away that my cats were getting a lot more attention and love than even I had been giving them! I was starting to think that my cats might now want to come back to me because they were getting more attention from Itzel! I was glad, though, because I knew my cats were well loved and cared for. That meant a lot to me! During and at the end of the boarding period, I had to make adjustments to the duration of the stay. Itzel was more than accommodating to these changes. The Rover platform was also very user friendly, so that these changes in the boarding itinerary were made without any problems at all.”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life for the last 35 years cats dogs, have a large house with a doggie door and I have two separate bedrooms with beds in them that are completely unused for your cat. If it needs to be by itself or for your dog, it’ll work out perfect I’m basically retiredand I work 15 hours a week so I’m home most of the time I work 12 hours a week besides that I am home all the time so caring for animals will be fine. I have a couple extra cages and spare bedrooms. The animals will be allowed inside. I am home every day work just part-time. They will be taken care of very well. Even have separate bedrooms for animals that needs special care or just for any safety issues.

About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.

I have a job where I work Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. All 12 hour days. So, I would be completely booked up on those days. The other days I would be incredibly happy to spend time with your little loved one! I would make sure to have clear and open conversations with you about your animals throughout the day/night. I can give updates on when they go to the bathroom. I can, also, send pictures of them.
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life since I was a kid. I even used to show my dog in 4H dog shows! I also showed chickens, goats and horses so I am very experienced with any kind of animal you may want me to look after! I’m currently working part time only so I would love to take care of pets during the day or even over night when I can! I have a pretty big yard and can take dogs on walks when they need. I can let them out/take on walks when they need!

Melissa also did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog and keeping up with her medication schedule, as well as handling our youngest dog who is still learning his manners. She kept us updated throughout the trip with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dogs were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. We came home to three happy pups and would absolutely book with Melissa again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life for the last 35 years cats dogs, have a large house with a doggie door and I have two separate bedrooms with beds in them that are completely unused for your cat. If it needs to be by itself or for your dog, it’ll work out perfect I’m basically retiredand I work 15 hours a week so I’m home most of the time I work 12 hours a week besides that I am home all the time so caring for animals will be fine. I have a couple extra cages and spare bedrooms. The animals will be allowed inside. I am home every day work just part-time. They will be taken care of very well. Even have separate bedrooms for animals that needs special care or just for any safety issues.
