“Gianna was wonderful with our dog Emmet! She watched him for three nights and was fantastic about communicating—she sent regular updates, photos, and videos, which really put our minds at ease. Emmet seemed to have a great time exploring, playing, and even going on hikes! While there’s no fenced yard, Gianna has plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and she kept a close eye on him—using a tie-out when needed to keep him safe. We’d absolutely trust her with Emmet again. Highly recommend!”

“Highly, HIGHLY recommend. She took such great care of our mini Aussie. Look no further if you want someone to take great care of your pet. She is kind, compassionate, and professional. If you want peace of mind, this is it. Thank you, Timber misses you.”

“We got so many pictures and videos of our dog while we were away! Caroline and Alena did a great job, even with a dog that is as high energy as ours. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Brooke did an amazing job with my chihuahua Stella. She was able to watch her with only a days notice. She sent me many pictures to keep my updated that my baby was doing great. We will definitely be staying with Brooke again when needed.”

“My puppy had an excellent time staying with Linda and her exceptional facilities. Communication was great and the pictures I received helped give me peace of mind while away. I will be sure to reach out to Linda again in the future! 10/10”

“I had a last minute emergency and needed my kitten watched for the day. She gladly took him in to her house, and “babysat” him. Me and my little Paquito appreciate her!”

“Melissa was amazing, and I'm thrilled we found her to watch our dog. She was incredibly easy to work with, she was a great communicator, and mostly importantly she took fantastic care of our dog. I will not hesitate to connect with her again next time we need a dog sitter. Highly recommended!”

“Hector and Sofia have now welcomed and cared for my 2-year-old dog, Wilson, three times this year. Most recently, they stepped in on very short notice for a last-minute trip I had to Baltimore, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their hospitality and flexibility. I know Wilson is always in good hands with them – they treat him with such love and care. I highly recommend Hector and Sofia to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters. Thank you both again for everything!”

“Brittany was AWESOME with our special needs (acute separation anxiety) Schnauzer mix named Cooper!! She was able to take him with her to work and gave him meds when he go anxious. She also sent photo updates during his stay to let us know how he was doing. I highly recommend Brittany and we will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

“Jaiden was so great and welcoming to Loki! She was so nice and sent adorable pictures. Loki got along well with her dog, and came back happy and tired. We are just traveling through, but would definitely use her again if we are in the area!”

About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.
About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I currently have two French Bulldogs and a Schnauzer, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and the daily care dogs need to feel comfortable and happy. Friends and family regularly trust me to dog sit because they know I treat every dog like my own. I’m currently a college student on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. Because of this, I’m able to give dogs lots of attention, playtime, walks, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods of time. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, and I love making sure they feel comfortable, active, and loved while their owners are away. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home. At my home, I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and spend time outside with supervision. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines, so I’m happy to follow any instructions the owner provides, including feeding schedules, walks, crate routines, medications, playtime, or specific house rules. My goal is to make pets feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in good hands.

Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority when caring for pets. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure pets are comfortable, happy, and secure by following their routine, offering personalized attention, and maintaining a clean, pet-friendly space. Trust and communication with both pets and owners are key, and I’m committed to providing peace of mind every step of the way.

“This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy that I found the app. Nathan was fantastic! He came several days before our booking date to meet our three cats, Lucky, Squeak, and Caramel. Our cats took to him right away, so I knew he was going to be our sitter. I enjoyed the daily pictures of our cats and they looked so content. Nathan will definitely be our sitter the next time we need one. Thanks Nathan for a fantastic job!!! Jo Anne Pullins”

“Arianne was great with our boy Carbon. It was his first time spending a night without me or my husband present since we got him 3+ years ago, and she made sure that it wasn't a bad experience for him. We definitely went overboard when it came to providing information about him, but Arianne was able to handle it all without issue. 6/5.”

About: I've had cats my entire life, growing up with feline companions and now sharing my home with five cats of my own. In addition to my personal experience, I bring over four years of professional animal care experience and continue to expand my knowledge as a veterinary technician in the Black Hills area. Before working in veterinary medicine, I served as the Medical Manager at our local Humane Society, where I gained extensive experience with feline behavior, stress management, medical care, and the unique needs of cats from all walks of life. These experiences shaped me into the knowledgeable, compassionate feline caregiver I am today. My philosophy is simple: cats thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. I provide calm, low-stress, in-home care tailored to your cat's individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether your cat is social, shy, senior, or has medical needs, I approach every visit with patience, understanding, and genuine compassion. When you trust me with your feline family member, you can expect personalized care, open communication, and a commitment to your cat's comfort and well-being.
“We really appreciate that Candice is flexible. We booked her visit and then got COVID. She graciously said she would take care of our cats the following week after we recovered. Thank you, Candice!”

“Five stars! Jaiden was absolutely lovely helping me understand the Rover process. My cat came back relaxed and happy! She was an absolute lifesaver in this heat. Would 100000% book again and highly recommend.”

“Shey is very personable and obviously an animal lover. My cat took to her immediately and I felt she honestly spent time giving him attention in my absence. She did a great job. I will definitely be hiring her again.”

“We did a second booking for a quick weekend road trip. Gabby stopped by to get the key and the cats definitely remembered her and were happy to see her. Gabby communicated about schedule changes and the cats well-being as things came up - when our cat had an upset tummy, she let us know and did clean up without me having to ask.”

“I arranged 2 drop ins for an extra long work day. She was very professional, and very considerate of my home. She was very attentive and my dogs really liked her. She sent many pictures and stayed with them for 30 minutes each visit. I really appreciate not only her professionalism, but her consideration for my dogs and myself. I will be contacting her again next time my dogs need a walk or friendly visit!”

Pets in our home have regular companionship, love, and attention! If desired, pets can sleep with me. I am familiar with crate training and although our dog no longer needs to be crated, his crate is his safe place to relax! We have a big yard where our dog runs and fetches his ball and do regular walks too.
“Janae was great! Our puppy Pan loved to play with her puppy and even out older girl Lyra had fun. Lyra LOVED Janae's husband right from the start and she normally takes a while to warm up to strangers. Would use her again if we were in town.”

“My dog liked Jessica right away. He is a nervous dog, but was not nervous around her and he was happy when we picked him up. Jessica was very helpful and didn't mind introducing my dog to her cats and seeing how he was with them. Great experience!”

“I had the absolute best experience with Marshall and can’t recommend him enough. He was beyond accommodating with my random and unpredictable schedule for work while out in Rapid City. It was my first time using Rover as well as first time leaving my pup with a stranger but my nerves were quickly relieved to see how well my pup adjusted and got comfortable. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Deuce ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have four dogs; I have two female German shepherds, a male golden doodle, and a female black Labrador retriever. I have house sat a couple of times with the dogs I own, but I have also house sat for two Rhodesian ridgebacks and two cats regularly. When I am away at school, I volunteer at the Heartland Humane Society in Yankton SD once a week. I play, walk, and enrich all the different dogs in that facility. I currently work part time, usually in the evenings; I have plenty of time to hang out with your pups! I would be able to stop by for potty breaks frequently or go on walks. If overnight services are needed, I would be able to stay overnight and take care of your animal’s needs. I love animals. When I dog or house sit, I hang out with the animals as much as possible. I am vigilant and make sure that they are being properly cared for.
About: I have had dogs in my life as long as I can remember. And I love every dog that I see. And all deserve the best care. I have recently moved to the area, so I have all the time to watch pets that need to be taken care of. Walking or overnights I am able to come to your house and walk/love on them and or stay overnight. Which ever is best for you and your pets.
About: Services offered: Dog sitting, Cat sitting, other animal sitting, dog walking, dog behavior reinforcement, animal enrichment, basic grooming/sanitary shaving/mat removal, medication administration (oral, IV, IM, SQ), daily routine encouragement, and more! All services are tailored to your pets needs! What sets me apart is my combination of veterinary, shelter medicine, behavior, and hands-on pet care experience. As a current veterinary technician and former Medical Manager at a Humane Society, I bring a deeper understanding of animal health, behavior, stress, and emotional well-being than the average pet sitter. My care philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement, patience, and trust-building. I believe pets thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an anxious rescue, a senior pet, or a cat who prefers quiet companionship, I tailor my approach to their individual needs and personality. Clear and concise communication with you as the owner, is utmost important when caring for your fur baby! I am experienced with medication administration, senior pet care, behavioral support, and maintaining routines that help pets feel secure while their families are away. My background allows me to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health and communicate any concerns promptly. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a low-stress, enriching experience that supports both their physical and emotional well-being. We’ll start by discussing your pet’s unique needs, routine, and preferences, as well as your expectations for their care. From there, we’ll create a plan that works best for both you and your pet while fitting within my full-time work schedule. I pride myself on being flexible, reliable, and easy to work with. As a veterinary professional, I have the ability to adjust my schedule when needed, including stopping by during the day for potty breaks, medication administration, or check-ins. For overnight care, I can provide visits before and after work to ensure your pet maintains their routine and receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make the process as stress-free as possible, providing dependable care and clear communication so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I provide care for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home because I believe familiar surroundings are essential to their emotional well-being. Remaining in their normal environment helps reduce stress, anxiety, and disruptions to their routine, allowing them to feel safe and secure while you're away. This is especially important for cats, as changes in environment can often lead to stress-related behaviors and, in some cases, illness. By keeping your pet in their home and maintaining their usual routine, I help create a calm, low-stress experience that supports both their physical and emotional health. Rather than requiring your pet to adjust to a new setting, I come to them. This allows your furry family member to receive personalized, compassionate care where they are most comfortable—right at home. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and a positive, stress-free experience for your pet.
“We have nothing but amazing things to say about Amber and the way she took care of our two dogs! We left for a week and she walked them 3 times a day for us—from the first walk we could tell we were going to be able to rest easy with them in her care. She treated them like her own and sent updates/photos every time! We know they loved their time with her and we will definitely be booking again next time we leave town.”

He is a puppy so patience is necessary and Nathan definitely has that. Nathan is great with communication as well, always letting me know how Billy is doing and if he sees that maybe something is off with Billy health wise. I definitely trust him to take great care of my pup. :)”

About: Experience. I am active and reliable! Looking to build client relationships and trust! New to Memphis, but not Tennessee. I am from Nashville, and just moved back to Tennessee after living in Laramie, Wyoming. I have a full time job and live a full life here. I hold a degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in ASL from the University of Tennessee. I grew up with and around dogs all my life, specifically German Shepherds and Akita's. I do not know everything about dogs, but I want to know everything about your dog. Working with Rover is just a fun way to make new furry friends and get to know more people in Memphis. Being there for your pet while you're week got unexpectedly busy or you're away overnight provides relief for you and your furry family. Schedule. Currently working full time, but can be flexible for your pet. I can use my lunch break for walks and medications. I feel like this is something that is relative to each pets schedule and owners request. Safety and Trust. Your dog is family and will be treated as such. Unless I have specific directions or know that your pet is allowed to eat or do something not listed, it does not happen. We have fun while following the rules. Unless it is an EMERGENCY, your pet does not get in the car with me. I trust myself, I do not trust other drivers.
About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.

Moving away.. far away to attended college, I haven’t seen Duke in over three years. I miss those times and would love to make new relationships with your pups! I understand that pets are much more than just animals, they are family and should be treated as such, with patience and love! I have experience walking, sitting and boarding dogs with some knowledge on training! Im very excited to meet your puppers! During the winter season I am available at all times. My primary work is seasonal and takes place in the summer as a fisherman in Alaska. When I care for pets at a clients home I treat the pet as if it were my own family and I treat the house as it were my own home. In other words, I practice respect.
About: With experience as a vet tech, groomer, and in boarding and daycare, I bring a well-rounded, hands-on approach to pet care. I’m comfortable with pets of all kinds and can handle everything from playtime to meds and grooming. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily life. Whether it’s morning walks or evening check-ins, I enjoy making time for each pet’s unique needs and keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. Whether pets are in my home or theirs, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment. In my home, they get plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort. In the client’s home, I stick closely to their routine to keep things consistent and stress-free.
About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. I have my own dog and I can have them hang out or she can stay at home just as easily!! I care for all pets in my home and in others the same way, with love and respect. It’s incredibly important for the animals you are dealing with to trust you and I work to ensure that trust at all times.
About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. My days are generally grouped together but letting pets out or walking are both doable! I can do overnights and watch for periods of time it will just depend on my schedule. I always want to respect the animal and let them come to me to meet and get to know me first. I love to play fetch or with whatever toys they like.
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. Family and friends love when I come by to give their dogs attention. I also take good care of animals like how I want to be treated. Pet care can fit into my schedule I am home mostly during the day and I work on my own time. You can count on me. I love to go for walks no matter how cold it is, and I love to play with dogs or cats. I would take good care of the animals.
