“This was an absolutely wonderful place for my dog to go. They did so good with her even though she’s a nervous dog she look like she had so much fun and they sent me pictures and videos all the time they got better pictures of my dog than I can get, I would highly recommend Ali to watch your dog cause I know I’m going to be a repeat customer Thank you so much”

“We got so many pictures and videos of our dog while we were away! Caroline and Alena did a great job, even with a dog that is as high energy as ours. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Highly, HIGHLY recommend. She took such great care of our mini Aussie. Look no further if you want someone to take great care of your pet. She is kind, compassionate, and professional. If you want peace of mind, this is it. Thank you, Timber misses you.”

“Hector and Sofia have now welcomed and cared for my 2-year-old dog, Wilson, three times this year. Most recently, they stepped in on very short notice for a last-minute trip I had to Baltimore, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their hospitality and flexibility. I know Wilson is always in good hands with them – they treat him with such love and care. I highly recommend Hector and Sofia to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters. Thank you both again for everything!”

“Brooke did an amazing job with my chihuahua Stella. She was able to watch her with only a days notice. She sent me many pictures to keep my updated that my baby was doing great. We will definitely be staying with Brooke again when needed.”

“My puppy had an excellent time staying with Linda and her exceptional facilities. Communication was great and the pictures I received helped give me peace of mind while away. I will be sure to reach out to Linda again in the future! 10/10”

“Our pup got plenty of exercise, and Tammara gave us updates and photos most days. A bit of a haul from town, but if fresh air and exercise are the goal, great spot for the furry friend.”

“I had a last minute emergency and needed my kitten watched for the day. She gladly took him in to her house, and “babysat” him. Me and my little Paquito appreciate her!”

“Melissa was amazing, and I'm thrilled we found her to watch our dog. She was incredibly easy to work with, she was a great communicator, and mostly importantly she took fantastic care of our dog. I will not hesitate to connect with her again next time we need a dog sitter. Highly recommended!”

“Brittany was AWESOME with our special needs (acute separation anxiety) Schnauzer mix named Cooper!! She was able to take him with her to work and gave him meds when he go anxious. She also sent photo updates during his stay to let us know how he was doing. I highly recommend Brittany and we will definitely be using her again in the future!!”

About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.
“Gianna was wonderful with our dog Emmet! She watched him for three nights and was fantastic about communicating—she sent regular updates, photos, and videos, which really put our minds at ease. Emmet seemed to have a great time exploring, playing, and even going on hikes! While there’s no fenced yard, Gianna has plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and she kept a close eye on him—using a tie-out when needed to keep him safe. We’d absolutely trust her with Emmet again. Highly recommend!”

“Monet was right on time for the meet and greet, followed all the instructions during the drop ins, and my cats were comfortable with her right away! I would definitely book with her again!”

“Arianne was great with our boy Carbon. It was his first time spending a night without me or my husband present since we got him 3+ years ago, and she made sure that it wasn't a bad experience for him. We definitely went overboard when it came to providing information about him, but Arianne was able to handle it all without issue. 6/5.”

“Amanda was very communicative throughout the entire process and did an incredible job checking in on my cat. Would 100% recommend Amanda and will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy that I found the app. Nathan was fantastic! He came several days before our booking date to meet our three cats, Lucky, Squeak, and Caramel. Our cats took to him right away, so I knew he was going to be our sitter. I enjoyed the daily pictures of our cats and they looked so content. Nathan will definitely be our sitter the next time we need one. Thanks Nathan for a fantastic job!!! Jo Anne Pullins”

About: While I’m newer to caring for cats, I’m excited to provide them with the same love, patience, and attentive care that I give every animal. I understand that every cat has their own unique personality and routine, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to check in multiple times throughout the day, giving your cat plenty of attention, fresh food and water, litter box care, playtime (if they enjoy it!), and companionship. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family member behind. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your cat is in loving hands.
About: With 15 years of pet care experience, I've built a reputation as the sitter friends and family turn to when they need someone they can truly trust. Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats gave me an intuitive understanding of pet behavior, and over the years I've cared for countless breeds - from gentle giants to tiny lap dogs, anxious rescues to energetic puppies. What makes me different is my versatility and adaptability. I'm equally comfortable managing multi-dog households, caring for dogs and cats simultaneously, and adjusting to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether you have a senior dog requiring gentle, patient care or a high-energy breed that needs extra playtime, I know how to read their cues and provide exactly what they need to feel safe and loved. My experience with diverse breeds and household dynamics means I can handle whatever curveballs your pets might throw - from managing pack dynamics to understanding breed-specific behaviors. I take pride in maintaining each pet's individual routine while ensuring harmony in multi-pet homes. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout my visits, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are not just being watched, but truly cared for by someone who understands that every pet is someone's beloved companion. I have a flexible weekend schedule that allows me to prioritize your pet's needs. Having recently moved to western South Dakota, I'm excited to build lasting relationships with local pet owners and become a trusted part of this community. My open availability means I can easily accommodate various scheduling needs - whether you need early morning walks, midday check-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet sitting never feels like work to me. It's actually the highlight of my day! I'm happy to work around your pet's established routine and can be flexible with timing to ensure they receive consistent, reliable care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or is more go-with-the-flow, I'll adapt to what works best for them and your family. I believe the key to excellent pet care is maintaining consistency with your pet's established routine and household rules. When caring for pets in your home, I take detailed notes about their daily schedule, feeding times, favorite spots, and any house rules—whether that means staying off certain furniture or having free rein of the couch. Your pet's comfort stems from familiarity, so I ensure that nothing changes from their normal routine. I provide the same level of attentive care - regular exercise, plenty of affection, and constant supervision. I also maintain open communication throughout, sending updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is settling in and enjoying their time with me.
“Shey is very personable and obviously an animal lover. My cat took to her immediately and I felt she honestly spent time giving him attention in my absence. She did a great job. I will definitely be hiring her again.”

About: I grew up around a variety of animals and had three cats during my childhood. Two passed away from old age, and one is still living with my mother, he’s very loved and well cared for. I’m comfortable with daily cat care tasks like litter box cleaning, feeding routines, and spending quiet time helping cats feel safe and relaxed. I also volunteered with the Humane Society of the Black Hills, where I gained experience administering medications to cats. As a nursing student, I’m attentive to details, follow instructions carefully, and feel confident supporting pets who need extra care.
“We did a second booking for a quick weekend road trip. Gabby stopped by to get the key and the cats definitely remembered her and were happy to see her. Gabby communicated about schedule changes and the cats well-being as things came up - when our cat had an upset tummy, she let us know and did clean up without me having to ask.”

“Fantastic! Nicole cared for our cat, fish, spider, and plants while we went out of town this summer. She did a fantastic job with everyone! She sent pictures and kept us up to date on the household. We will definitely use her whenever we travel! Thank you Nicole”

Whether it’s snuggles on the couch, daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away—so you can enjoy your time with complete peace of mind. I have a flexible work-from-home schedule that allows me to prioritize your pet’s needs throughout the day. About: I have a dog of my own named Finn, who I adore! He is a mini dachshund. I also grew up in a home with several animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.

About: Services offered: Dog sitting, Cat sitting, other animal sitting, dog walking, dog behavior reinforcement, animal enrichment, basic grooming/sanitary shaving/mat removal, medication administration (oral, IV, IM, SQ), daily routine encouragement, and more! All services are tailored to your pets needs! What sets me apart is my combination of veterinary, shelter medicine, behavior, and hands-on pet care experience. As a current veterinary technician and former Medical Manager at a Humane Society, I bring a deeper understanding of animal health, behavior, stress, and emotional well-being than the average pet sitter. My care philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement, patience, and trust-building. I believe pets thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an anxious rescue, a senior pet, or a cat who prefers quiet companionship, I tailor my approach to their individual needs and personality. Clear and concise communication with you as the owner, is utmost important when caring for your fur baby! I am experienced with medication administration, senior pet care, behavioral support, and maintaining routines that help pets feel secure while their families are away. My background allows me to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health and communicate any concerns promptly. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a low-stress, enriching experience that supports both their physical and emotional well-being. We’ll start by discussing your pet’s unique needs, routine, and preferences, as well as your expectations for their care. From there, we’ll create a plan that works best for both you and your pet while fitting within my full-time work schedule. I pride myself on being flexible, reliable, and easy to work with. As a veterinary professional, I have the ability to adjust my schedule when needed, including stopping by during the day for potty breaks, medication administration, or check-ins. For overnight care, I can provide visits before and after work to ensure your pet maintains their routine and receives consistent, attentive care. My goal is to make the process as stress-free as possible, providing dependable care and clear communication so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I provide care for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home because I believe familiar surroundings are essential to their emotional well-being. Remaining in their normal environment helps reduce stress, anxiety, and disruptions to their routine, allowing them to feel safe and secure while you're away. This is especially important for cats, as changes in environment can often lead to stress-related behaviors and, in some cases, illness. By keeping your pet in their home and maintaining their usual routine, I help create a calm, low-stress experience that supports both their physical and emotional health. Rather than requiring your pet to adjust to a new setting, I come to them. This allows your furry family member to receive personalized, compassionate care where they are most comfortable—right at home. My goal is to provide peace of mind for you and a positive, stress-free experience for your pet.
“Matilyn did a great job walking our dogs! She also let me that our female dog was showing signs of a UTI. Took her to the Vet the next day and sure enough, our dog did have a UTI! We would definitely rebook Matilyn!”

“Nathan is phenomenal with Billy!! He not only takes him for walks but he helps him learn tricks and shows Billy all the attention he so craves. He is a puppy so patience is necessary and Nathan definitely has that. Nathan is great with communication as well, always letting me know how Billy is doing and if he sees that maybe something is off with Billy health wise. I definitely trust him to take great care of my pup. :)”

Whether pets are in my home or theirs, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment. In my home, they get plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort. In the client’s home, I stick closely to their routine to keep things consistent and stress-free.
About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. I have my own dog and I can have them hang out or she can stay at home just as easily!! I care for all pets in my home and in others the same way, with love and respect. It’s incredibly important for the animals you are dealing with to trust you and I work to ensure that trust at all times.
About: I grew up with dogs and I currently have a black lab who lives with my husband. I’ve dog sat for friends and family throughout my life. I love to run, walk and be outside in nature. Dogs are definitely considered family to me! I am a travel nurse from South Dakota but currently live in Des Moines. I work night shift so during the day I’m around. My days are generally grouped together but letting pets out or walking are both doable! I can do overnights and watch for periods of time it will just depend on my schedule. I always want to respect the animal and let them come to me to meet and get to know me first. I love to play fetch or with whatever toys they like.

“We got so many pictures and videos of our dog while we were away! Caroline and Alena did a great job, even with a dog that is as high energy as ours. Will definitely be coming back!”

About: I have grown up with dogs, owned (and currently own) a dog, and absolutely LOVE them as my own. We have an enclosed dog run with a dog door onsite. They are spoiled beyond measure and treated better than a family member. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to spend quality time with your pet! I am available on weekends and holidays, as well as weekdays depending on notice. I have a fenced in dog run with a dog door. I can easily crate your dog if that is helpful to his/her routine. I do have 2 dogs onsite but can keep them separate if needed. We live on 3 acres and walk our dogs every day! They are Family!
