I live on a ranch, so they’ll have plenty of space to run and play around while I also love taking them with me to explore the Black Hills trails. I’m currently dedicating my time to farm life while I wait for school to start in the fall, so I have all my time available to dedicate myself to your furry friends. I have a big farm of 18 acres with plenty of space to exercise your pups, also have enclosed areas available to offer them a safe and comfortable environment during their stay. I was in a pickle, was kind of last minute preparation for me ( I usually have everything written down, food bags prepared and labeled…) to leave home and have her watch my dog. He needs medication with his diet or he can’t digest what he eats, which was no issue with her. She sends pics and videos, and great communication, to help the ease of being separated from my best buddy and travel partner. She ‘speaks’ dog, reads and knows their energy. We are an animal loving family with a sweet fun loving Goldendoodle named Maxx who loves making new doggie friends and who is friendly with cats also. Between myself, my kids, and Maxx, your pet(s) would be showered with constant love and attention! I work from home and my kids homeschool. Pets in our home have regular companionship, love, and attention! If desired, pets can sleep with me. About: I have house sat multiple times for the same families, which included care for both dogs and cats. One family had ill animals that needed special pills and diets, while the other had a puppy who needed walks to remain calm. I follow the instructions of the owners as best I can, and attempt to give the animals as much love and attention as I can offer. I was paid professionally to care for animals when I worked as a personal assistant for three years. I know that it can be hard work to care for animals, but I am willing to put forth the effort for them. I have had and cared for them all of my life, and I look forward to caring for yours! I work full time, but can be flexible with my lunch break. At the least, I could drop in three times a day or stay with them in the evenings. On weekends, if I am petsitting or dropping in, your pup or cat would be my highest priority and my schedule is much more flexible. Petsitting: When staying at a client's home, I keep the area tidy and try to spend more time with the pet than not. When I am not at work, I would be able to walk, play, and cuddle to their heart's content. If I have social plans, I adjust them to the pets needs so they are not left alone for too long. Dogwalking & Drop-Ins: After walking/playing with/checking on your pup, I would ensure they have adequate water and a treat, then give them some time to rest. Once I've ensured they've cooled down, I would let them out once more before topping off their water and leaving them for a nap. During the work weeks, walks would be at noon and after 5pm, but weekends are flexible.

I love cats and dogs equally, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society of the Black Hills as well. I am currently an accelerated nursing student at SDSU and my schedule works well for pet sitting. I also enjoy taking care of animals it’s very therapeutic for me so it works out. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting in someone else’s home. I cannot do it in my own because it’s my mother’s house and she’s allergic to dogs. My own dog is with my husband while I am in nursing school. So I will compensate by getting all the love from the pets. I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, but I’m very comfortable providing care in your home and helping your pets stick to their normal routine. I also pet sit for my brother’s dog frequently, so I’m used to managing daily needs like feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to take your pet on walks and make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal for them as possible. I also don’t mind helping with light household chores during my visits, things like bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, taking out trash, or tidying up pet areas so you can come home to a clean, settled space.

About: I’ve growing up with multiple types of dogs. Never having less than 2 in the house. I’ve always had at least one cat every where I go! I love animals. I love them like I love kids. As my own. I am currently a full time mom, wife and student I have endless time - on maternity leave to care of others babies. I will be available full time until around Dec 1st (this is a pending date of going later but for sure until Dec 1st I have two nice dogs, two cats. My yard was fenced but we took it down to redo it. If I offer in my own services I can crate if need (you must provide the crate) I have two cats as well. They are scared of first meets but nice cats.
