“Caroline and Alena are fantastic - great communicators, they sent pics and videos, and they seemed to truly enjoy my pup, which just felt good. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and I highly recommend them! My gratitude to you both!”

“Brooke is a wonderful Rover sitter! She not only treats her little furry guests like her own, but like they’re staying in a private resort. The huge fenced in backyard and porch are wonderful and our dog loves it. She also is adamant about getting him a bath before he comes home which is just so sweet of her. We have every confidence in her, and I’d recommend her for any size dog as well, large or tiny. Not sure our pup likes coming home to an unspoiled life, but he sure does love his Brooke time!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had the absolute best experience! Ali was wonderful, our pups were so happy. They ran and played and swam and had the best vacation. She loved on them like they were her own and sent photos and videos throughout the day. Ali was also super accommodating with drop off and pick up times, she very responsive and friendly. I would absolutely recommend Ali and we will definitely be using her again.”

“Mary provided top-tier care for my cat at her home! She made the entire process seamless with incredibly easy drop-off and pick-up routines. While I was away, she was highly responsive to messages and regularly sent wonderful picture updates, which gave me total peace of mind. It was clear my pet felt safe, comfortable, and completely at home with her. I highly recommend Mary and will definitely book her again!”

“Ariel was great with my fur baby! My girl had not done very well in the past with traditional boarding kennels and this seems to be the perfect fit for her. Ariel was great with sending updates and pictures throughout the day to ease my mind.”

“Talon watched our pup for us on short notice while we were camping in the Black Hills. She kept us updated with photos and did a wonderful job easing his anxiety. We definitely use Talon again if we find ourselves in the Black Hills in the future!”

“Ally is our baby. She is very spoiled and highly energetic. We were very concerned and apprehensive about leaving her with anyone. As she is always with us and never been away from us for an extended period of time. But Ms. Linda eased my mind when I first met her. She has a wonderful facility with lots of room for an energetic puppy to play. Linda kept me informed daily and sent me pictures of Ally’s daily routine. I would recommend her to anyone and will request her for future brooding.”

“Snyder loves going to Brittany’s. For me, I am just so grateful for her and the service she provides for us! It is always hard to leave my furball, but it is such a comfort knowing he is in a place with such care and love! Love the pics and the way Brittany communicates!!”

“Maria took care of our Australian Shepard over Thanksgiving for a week and was quick to answer questions and sent us photos everyday. Our dog had a blast hanging out with her dog everyday and we will definitely be using her again.”

“Gianna is AMAZING - we worry about leaving our “baby”, and she was so reassuring and sent plenty of updates and pictures. She has a beautiful property for dogs to run and play. We never worried about our guy at all. She will definitely be our go-to person from now on!!”

“Hector has been an amazing host for Wilson, my mini Schnauzer, for the second time. I feel confident leaving Wilson with Hector and his sister, knowing they take good care of him. Hector keeps me updated with photos and videos during Wilson’s stay, and he’s always quick to respond to any messages. Will definitely keep asking them to host Wilson again in the future.”

About: I'm an active gal who loves the companionship of a pooch while out and about. I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). I'll be attentive to the needs of your dog, making sure they get plenty of activity, are well hydrated, and fed appropriately. While I don't have a dog of my own currently, I was a dog walker when I lived in New York City and I volunteered for two years with Border Paws Rescue in Rapid City caring for 5 - 10 pups for their pre-bedtime outings. I'm comfortable working with and providing a safe environment for the most goofy and social as well as the most solo and independent pups. I'm happy to accommodate any special needs you and your pup may have. I'm prompt and reliable. I hope to meet you and your pup soon! I work full time, but have flexibility to do bathroom breaks over lunch for kiddos that need more frequent outings. I can take pups on walks in the morning or evening depending on their activity needs. I have a small fenced in yard that is available for outside hangs. I am patient and kind and love to meet the needs of each pup where they are at. I have volunteered in a rescue and am comfortable around dogs of different temperaments.
About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. They are our kids. I am looking for a partime job. What a fun opportunity to do something I love. I have three dogs/kids myself. I can’t wait to get home from work and. see their wiggly tails. They don’t care what kind of day you just had, they just want to love on you. When I am home they are wherever I am. During the day they are in their kennels. Two of them are not even 2 yet so they like their toys.

“Kairi is awesome. I needed someone very last minute and she responded immediately and was able to help me out. She takes the time to play with the dogs and really pays attention to them.”

“I couldn't of been more grateful to find Chelsea to take care of Butter and Waffles like they were her own! She made sure to give consistent updates and follow their quirky needs/schedule that put my mind to ease. I could tell my kitties were really happy with her care! ☺️ She has such a genuine heart and made sure to leave my home better than when we left which was also SO nice to come back to after a long international flight. She really went above and beyond, I would definitely book with her again! ?”

“Arianne was great with our boy Carbon. It was his first time spending a night without me or my husband present since we got him 3+ years ago, and she made sure that it wasn't a bad experience for him. We definitely went overboard when it came to providing information about him, but Arianne was able to handle it all without issue. 6/5.”

“Five stars! Jaiden was absolutely lovely helping me understand the Rover process. My cat came back relaxed and happy! She was an absolute lifesaver in this heat. Would 100000% book again and highly recommend.”

“Ronda always makes sure our fur babies are taken care of when we are away. Going out of her way to fish cat toys from under our furniture so our cats can stay entertained, making sure they are always fed, and keeping the litter boxes clean and tidy, we love having Ronda come to visit!”

“Amanda always does an amazing job of checking in on my cat and keeping an open line of communication. Amanda is very flexible and is always just a call or text away. As always, I would recommend Amanda!”

“Monet is absolutely amazing. The best pet sitter I’ve ever had. I mean it. She is responsive, kind, understanding, and helpful overall. She took care of my cats flawlessly. I really can’t say enough good things about her. Looking forward to having her again!”

About: While I’m newer to caring for cats, I’m excited to provide them with the same love, patience, and attentive care that I give every animal. I understand that every cat has their own unique personality and routine, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to check in multiple times throughout the day, giving your cat plenty of attention, fresh food and water, litter box care, playtime (if they enjoy it!), and companionship. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family member behind. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your cat is in loving hands.
“We have never done a drop-in before, so we were a bit nervous about how our dog would do with someone coming into her space. But Margaret was amazing and so patient with her! She came by for a meet-and-greet to get to know her ahead of time, which was perfect. We would 100% have Margaret watch June again!”

“Janet was lovable herself! Knight (the cat) liked her right away which always helps, no shy period to get over. I loved the pictures Janet took of her interactions with Knight. I can't believe she got him to play with her. He is a real couch potato. The notes she left were informative and precise. I will be booking again with Janet.”

“We are so happy to have found Susan on Rover. She cared for our pup Fern while we were in town on vacation. Some of the places we visited didn’t allow dogs, so having her cared for while we were sightseeing was such a blessing. Susan was amazing, she sent us many texts and videos of the adventures they took together. Fern had such a great time and we felt so comfortable that she was in good hands. We highly Susan, she’s a gem!!”

About: My experience with animals is life-long. 💕 I am that person who understands animals and knows how to give them the space and attention they need to feel safe and loved. I have personally owned cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, geckos, and birds. A little about me: I am active and love to go for walks here in Rapid City. If I’m at a party, I’m the person who is hanging out in the kitchen with the cat or the doggo. 💕 I’m currently working at home full time on my computer, in an apartment in downtown Rapid City - able to take short breaks throughout the day. My office job workday ends at 3:30pm MT then I am free to give special 1-1 time or walks. I am in a large modern apartment with big windows, lots of space to play, snooze, or just hang out with me while I work on my computer. I do not have any children or pets in my home. I am close to the Hotel Alex Johnson and the Hyatt Place hotel.
“I believe Bodhi loved his time with Brittany, despite being ready to leave when I picked him up (he has seperation anxiety). I'm looking forward to Bodhi becoming more and more comfortable with her when I use her again for boarding :)”

“My dog liked Jessica right away. He is a nervous dog, but was not nervous around her and he was happy when we picked him up. Jessica was very helpful and didn't mind introducing my dog to her cats and seeing how he was with them. Great experience!”

“We were in Rapid City to see Mount Rushmore and left our dog with Caroline and Alena for the day. She had room to run and even did some cultural enrichment (art) which we got to keep! I received updates throughout the day and my dog came home happy and exhausted! I would highly recommend whether you are passing through or in the Rapid City area looking for someone to take care of your pup!”

“We left our beloved dog Eddie with Linda while we went to the Badlands (because dogs aren't allowed on trails in national parks!) and she was welcoming and excited to have Eddie spend the day with her. He was happy and tired when we picked him up. Thanks Linda - it was reassuring to have you watch Eddie that day.”

“Incredible!! Aimee and her husband were such nice and kind human beings and so flexible! They even loaned me a flashlight for my Wind Cave tour and a latte 🥹💓 15 min from the NP and super close to all other attractions like the wild horse sanctuary, mammoth and more!!”
