About: I have experience working with zoo animals and I’ve worked at my local humane society and vet clinic. I take the time to understand each dog’s unique behavior in order to become the best of friends! At the vet clinic I was a boarding assistant so each day I handled dozens of different dogs. I try to learn about your pet and treat them just like any other living creature. I have rehabilitated a dog that was destined to be euthanized because of his aggressive behavior. I spent every day with him and did what needed to be done to help him realize the world isn’t that scary when you have a friend to explore it with. Although cats are my animal of choice, dogs are a close second. I work full time as a lab tech at a small dental arts studio. My three co-workers, our boss, and I all have a mutual respect and understanding of each other’s needs. I think we would all agree that pets and personal affairs come first. Meaning I can easily leave work to manage your animals as needed. I have had pets in the house my entire life. I currently live with two cats a a dog, so having your pet stay with me would not really be an option. If your dog is friendly to other dogs, our dog, Beasley, is very well behaved and loves to play with anything that moves! In past house/pet sitting jobs I have gone to the dog park with both her and the owner’s dogs so if that is something you would be ok with I we would have so much fun doing that!

I was in a pickle, was kind of last minute preparation for me ( I usually have everything written down, food bags prepared and labeled…) to leave home and have her watch my dog. He needs medication with his diet or he can’t digest what he eats, which was no issue with her. She sends pics and videos, and great communication, to help the ease of being separated from my best buddy and travel partner. She ‘speaks’ dog, reads and knows their energy. I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). Lots of area to play, and they will have a nice clean and warm house to come into after! I will follow all of your instructions when taking care of your pet, and care for them like my own! I find myself different from other people because I have a great back yard and very deep love for all breeds and sizes. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I also have a dog that loves to play with other dogs. Willing to walk dogs and spend time with your dog in your home or mine. I do have a 1 year old who will be with me. Preferred if dog is good with kids and of course I will monitor my child around your animal (as I do with my own dog). I like to take our dog running in the hills usually off leash. My dog has a training collar so if that is something your dog has or is good at coming back when called, they will be a good fit! I work part time, each week is different for what day. Only 2-3 a week. I have a dog at home who loves to play with other dogs as well. He’s a husker/golden. We love to take him for runs (mostly because he’s chubby) and he loves to cuddle. So we know all about cuddly pets. I have a fenced yard and a 1 year old son. I am easy to let dogs out and or go for walks (love to get exercise in). Fresh air is the best and getting out of the house! I know the importance of being present with your dog.. I love when people stay to give my dog company and not make him feel lonely.
