“Nathan was very nice and always provided photo updates of our bunny, Mr. Pickles. I could tell that he played with him and he always wrote little status updates after the visit to tell me about the visit. He seemed excited to gain trust with our bunny and ended up being able to give him some love (bunny is very nervous around new people)”

About: With 15 years of pet care experience, I've built a reputation as the sitter friends and family turn to when they need someone they can truly trust. Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats gave me an intuitive understanding of pet behavior, and over the years I've cared for countless breeds - from gentle giants to tiny lap dogs, anxious rescues to energetic puppies. What makes me different is my versatility and adaptability. I'm equally comfortable managing multi-dog households, caring for dogs and cats simultaneously, and adjusting to each pet's unique personality and needs. Whether you have a senior dog requiring gentle, patient care or a high-energy breed that needs extra playtime, I know how to read their cues and provide exactly what they need to feel safe and loved. My experience with diverse breeds and household dynamics means I can handle whatever curveballs your pets might throw - from managing pack dynamics to understanding breed-specific behaviors. I take pride in maintaining each pet's individual routine while ensuring harmony in multi-pet homes. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout my visits, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are not just being watched, but truly cared for by someone who understands that every pet is someone's beloved companion. I have a flexible weekend schedule that allows me to prioritize your pet's needs. Having recently moved to western South Dakota, I'm excited to build lasting relationships with local pet owners and become a trusted part of this community. My open availability means I can easily accommodate various scheduling needs - whether you need early morning walks, midday check-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet sitting never feels like work to me. It's actually the highlight of my day! I'm happy to work around your pet's established routine and can be flexible with timing to ensure they receive consistent, reliable care. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or is more go-with-the-flow, I'll adapt to what works best for them and your family. I believe the key to excellent pet care is maintaining consistency with your pet's established routine and household rules. When caring for pets in your home, I take detailed notes about their daily schedule, feeding times, favorite spots, and any house rules—whether that means staying off certain furniture or having free rein of the couch. Your pet's comfort stems from familiarity, so I ensure that nothing changes from their normal routine. I provide the same level of attentive care - regular exercise, plenty of affection, and constant supervision. I also maintain open communication throughout, sending updates and photos so you can see how well your pet is settling in and enjoying their time with me.

About: I grew up around a variety of animals and had three cats during my childhood. Two passed away from old age, and one is still living with my mother, he’s very loved and well cared for. I’m comfortable with daily cat care tasks like litter box cleaning, feeding routines, and spending quiet time helping cats feel safe and relaxed. I also volunteered with the Humane Society of the Black Hills, where I gained experience administering medications to cats. As a nursing student, I’m attentive to details, follow instructions carefully, and feel confident supporting pets who need extra care.

“AJ watched our dog Lola for about 4 hours while our family enjoyed some attractions in the Southern Black Hills. AJ was responsive, accommodated all of our requests. Her property is well suited for dogs. AJ was home the entire time of Lola's stay, and it felt like Lola had a lot of attention during her stay. We'd definitely use AJ again for Doggy Day Care.”

“We are so happy we found Susan! She is definitely a dog person. Our pup Barney is very active, and has his own unique personality. He is a Blue Heeler with lots of energy. Susan gave him lots of walks outside and lots of playtime. I would recommend Susan to anyone visiting the Black Hills area.”

About: I have been a dog owner/lover for the past 10 years. My experience extends to small dogs, large dogs, and reactive dogs. My property is 7 acre of quiet farm land in Hermosa. I have 2 dogs myself and they are very friendly and playful with other dogs. There would also be the option to keep our dogs separate if your baby is not comfortable with cohabitation. 1 acre fenced in yard as well as someone home at all times to let your baby out. I work in town on the weekdays but my partner works remotely meaning someone would be home at all times to let out the dogs. We have a 1acre fenced in yard the dogs can hang out in as well as plenty of space in the house. Dogs would be free to hang out in the house with no real restrictions unless otherwise stated by the owner.

About: I currently have 2 dogs of my own who are very friendly and playful. I can work with high energy or calmer/older dogs always taking the time to get to know them during our visits. I work full time but enjoy staying busy on my days off. Requests can be made for days I work as long as it is far enough out. I am in the process of gating my own front yard. Once completed I will accept daytime sitting at my own home. I am however willing to take your dog to any park you would like and approve of.
“Nathan is phenomenal with Billy!! He not only takes him for walks but he helps him learn tricks and shows Billy all the attention he so craves. He is a puppy so patience is necessary and Nathan definitely has that. Nathan is great with communication as well, always letting me know how Billy is doing and if he sees that maybe something is off with Billy health wise. I definitely trust him to take great care of my pup. :)”

About: Experience. I am active and reliable! Looking to build client relationships and trust! New to Memphis, but not Tennessee. I am from Nashville, and just moved back to Tennessee after living in Laramie, Wyoming. I have a full time job and live a full life here. I hold a degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in ASL from the University of Tennessee. I grew up with and around dogs all my life, specifically German Shepherds and Akita's. I do not know everything about dogs, but I want to know everything about your dog. Working with Rover is just a fun way to make new furry friends and get to know more people in Memphis. Being there for your pet while you're week got unexpectedly busy or you're away overnight provides relief for you and your furry family. Schedule. Currently working full time, but can be flexible for your pet. I can use my lunch break for walks and medications. I feel like this is something that is relative to each pets schedule and owners request. Safety and Trust. Your dog is family and will be treated as such.
