About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.

About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. Because of all this I've cared for many cats and dogs of various ages so I understand what kind of care each animal may need. I'm currently going to be doing rover full time so I'll always have availability for your pets. Also I'm almost always around on holidays! I have two dogs of my own, Ziggy and Porky, who love dogs of all sizes and even cats! They are always ready to make a new friend and have some fun. If your pet is older, more independent, or simply isn't interested in playing with other dogs, that's completely okay! Ziggy and Porky are great about giving dogs their space when they need it. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while still getting the exercise, attention, and activity that's appropriate for them. My goal is for your pet to feel at home, have fun, and receive the same patience and care I would want for my own dogs. Im currently available, so I’ll be able to take care of your dog or dogs. I do have two dogs of my own Ziggy and porky, both are friendly with everyone. Ziggy, porky, and I frequently go on walks to different parks. We travel quite frequently and are always checking different areas out. If you have a preferred area we go that’s ok!
About: I have lived on a farm my whole life therefore I am very familiar with dogs! I have worked at a vet clinic before so I am comfortable with different breeds:) I recently had a baby girl and I would love to stay home with her as much as possible! So in order to do so… I’d love to get active again and take your dogs on walks and/or get out of the house to drop in and visit your pets! Living on a farm has never required me to walk my dogs but I feel that I am responsible and trustworthy enough to walk your dog(s) safely! I know how important your pets are to you and I will do everything to keep them safe and healthy!
About: As far back as I can remember, my family always had at least one dog/cat, each one of them holding a special place in my heart. I, now, am a proud dog parent of two Blue Heelers, Izzy and Brutus. I love every kind of dog and cat. I have experience with elder dog care and puppy care. I have a job where I work Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. All 12 hour days. So, I would be completely booked up on those days. The other days I would be incredibly happy to spend time with your little loved one! I would make sure to have clear and open conversations with you about your animals throughout the day/night. I can give updates on when they go to the bathroom. I can, also, send pictures of them.
About: I have been a pet owner my whole life and have been doing pet sitting for friends and family since I can remember. I seem to connect with pets better than a humans :😊 I have never met a pet I don’t love or love me back. Your furry family members will be in her best hands and ger a lot of love and attention when you are away. I work two part time jobs 9-1pm 4-8/9pm 5 days a week sometimes the days vary. I go to the gym 3-5 days a week I hang out with my little sister twice a week when my schedule allows. I am hoping to return to collage next fall for Vet Tech. My days and schedules are pretty flexible. I live down town Sioux Falls in a studio with my cat, kiwi! I have a reliable car and can get to your home wing no worries

She was very accommodating and I loved that she sent photos during Nova’s stay! She has a beautiful home and a great fenced in backyard. We were also happy to hear that she doesn’t take a lot of pets at once because Nova doesn’t get along well with other dogs and a lot of places won’t take her because of that.
