“I’m so glad we booked Fritz’s first boarding with Larysa. Since he’s still young, we were nervous about leaving him, even for a day, but Larysa made the experience great for him and us. We had to book a last minute boarding, but she was super accommodating and kind about it. She kept us updated with photos the whole time, and we could see Fritz was really being loved and cared for. By the time we picked him up, he was super comfortable there and seemed to absolutely love Larysa’s sweet older dog, Carter! “My husband and I left our 3 dogs with Melissa for 4 days and she took great care of them! Our dogs had never stayed with a sitter before, so I was nervous to leave them, but she made the transition easy and they were more than comfortable at her home. One of our dogs is very anxious and tends to be fearful of new people, and even she settled in well and seemed content during her stay. Melissa also did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog and keeping up with her medication schedule, as well as handling our youngest dog who is still learning his manners. She kept us updated throughout the trip with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. This was the very first time we had left our 2 rescue cats for more than a single night and we were super nervous especially since they are used to having someone home with them full-time. About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

We were gone for five days and there were no such incidents thanks to Brittany’s attentive care. Our animals seemed happy and content as if we hadn’t left at all, and it was such a relief to come home to relaxed animals in a clean home. 10/10, thank you Brittany!”
About: I will do early morning or late evening walks to avoid burning you furry friends paw pads, and i take into consideration every little detail! I have done dog sitting and walking since I was 10 and provided exceptional care for family members, friends, and community members. While taking on early morning or late night walks, medications and a wide range of dog breeds and ages! About: I have had multiple dogs, young and old, throughout my life. I’ve had a Shih Tzu, golden lab, fostered multiple pit bulls, and currently have two cats at home. My house is a dog friendly one with a unfenced yard that we are ablet to run and play in. About: I have been caring/owning dogs since my 20's as well as training my granddaughters and my dogs, I walk, train, feed and anythijg else you can think for dogs of all ages and sizes I am retired so I have plenty of time to spend with pups needing walks, potty breaks, or boarding. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: **Updated 5/25/24: the only pet we have at the time is an English angora rabbit who lives outside or in the garage. We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. About: Growing up I've always had pets of all shapes and sizes. My household was almost like a shelter because we would often take in strays and friends pets they could not longer care for. Neighbors and friends would also ask me to pet sit while they away or check in/walk their animal if they're gone too long. About: Growing up, I’ve always loved and cared for dogs. Now that I have my own, I understand the feeling of having someone care for them the way you do.
