I saw a big difference in my older dachshund Dora compared to how stressed she has been after staying at a kennel compared to staying in a home. She was calm & her normal self when I picked her up compared to the stress I've seen in her when I've left her at a kennel. I received lots of pictures, could see that she was doing fine. Had a last minute change in plans, needed to pick Dora up about 90 minutes later than I'd expected, and Candice & family made it work. Thank you! I would definitely book with them again.”

About: Mother of 5 littles (bichon, maltipoo, shihpoo, jackshit and papillon ) and 2 male cats. Late owner of Irish wolfhound (she was my 3rd and passed last year at 10yrs old) and many other breeds large and small. I have a degree in Animal science, worked in a Veterinary Hospital, am a Licensed wildlife rehabber and a state licensed Humane Investigator. I have experience with domestic, exotics, aquatic, wild and farm animals. Located currently on a horse farm and I professionally boarded horses for over 28 yrs in Illinois. I am also a certified pharmacy tech, and am certified in Animal (pet and horse) First aid and CPR. I only take small breeds in home for boarding. Must be pet friendly to other small dogs. For outside/stop in care I can do any size and morning and night visits. We have a Fenced in yard with a doggie door and I am always watching them when they are outside. There are 6 foot tall fences as well for their safety.

About: I got my first dog when I was 4 years old. Have never looked back since! I’ve brought 3 dogs through Canine Good Citizenship certifications. One dog through 4 levels of agility training. One dog through therapy and scent discrimination training. And one dog through search and rescue training. I love, not only to care for animals, but also to learn with them and to observe what they are capable of doing with the right support. I’ve even been able to train my cat to never get only any kitchen counter tops and stay relaxed while I clip her nails! I work a very flexible online job. So I can easily arrange my schedule to meet then needs of the animals 7 days a week. At this time, I can only provide pet care at your home. Once there, I will orient myself with the nearest vet location and familiarize myself with your home, dos and donts, off limits areas, etc.

About: I love dogs and want to make their lives better by visiting, walking, playing, petting, feeding and watering. I will treat them like my own. My schedule is pretty free right now as I am not working, although I do work a couple days a week from May to October. I walk my own dogs and play with them, make sure they have food and water and give them good scratches. I will exercise your dogs and love them too!

About: Your dogs will have fun while you are away. You can consider it their home away from home. Won’t have to worry about your things getting chewed up in your house or accidents. I will take care of them as my own. I am available to help Monday through Friday and most weekends. I have a fairly flexible schedule. I have 2 dogs myself (lab mix and a mastador) and have been raising a litter of puppies most recently. Feel free to ask for extra services and inquire with other requests. I watch my friends dogs at times and stay at my boss’s house to watch her dogs when they leave town for the weekend. I am responsible and look forward to meeting your furry friends. ?

I love caring for pets and giving them whatever they need to feel happy and comfortable. I have been taking care of pets in a professional setting for 10 years and even worked as a veterinary assistant for 5 years so I know how to administer many types of pet medications. I am also a certified dog trainer, so I know how to care for dogs of all energy levels and temperaments! I know that every pet has different needs and personalities and I can meet those needs! I work full time, but have spurts of time where I can stop in to care for a pet, take a dog on a walk, or spend some time cuddling with a pet. I can pick dogs up for walks at your home and take them on a local hike or a walk around the neighborhood or local park. I can stop by to let puppies (or dogs of any age) out to potty and give them some love and affection as well! I often care for cats where I stop into the home one a day or once every other day (depending on the owners preference) and make sure your cat has food, fresh water, and clean litter box. I also water house plants as needed if requested:)
