“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
“Brittany was as sweet as could be--and side note: ADORABLE twin toddlers! ;-) Apparently Buster and the tots kept each other busy to the point of everyone napping by the end of the visit. About: I'm a stay at home mother with a huge heart and endless patience for all dogs. We have a large fenced-in yard and many sofas and beds to sleep on. Our house is all hardwoods, so there's no issues if your dog has an accident. We have a whippet-coonhound who loves to play and chase squirrels in our backyard, but we have ways of separation if that is more convenient. And Tyson has been very happy and playful with all of our Rover guests so far. We will also exercise dogs on a walk around the neighborhood. They're family to me so I know how much your furry friend means to you. I live in Spartanburg and work in Greenville at BringFido, a pet friendly travel service. My home is very dog friendly! My 11 year old schnoodle, Mr. Peabody Coaltrain resides there with me. Peabody feels he is required to growl (his way of talking) upon first meeting all other dogs, but he quickly adapts and loves to be with them. If your dog can be very aggressive they may not like his "hello" and may not be a good fit. Peabody doesn't play much, but he doesn't mind a dog that likes to. I also have a 7 lb Toy Schnauzer, Lil' Guy Murphy. He likes to play with all dogs despite their size. I usually put my dogs in a bedroom or outside when other dogs come in so your dogs can explore a little and not feel overwhelmed by the welcome committee before they meet. My husband, Jon is usually around and loves dogs just as much as I do. Between the two of us we make sure the dogs are let out several times throughout the day and receive plenty of attention. When dogs come to stay with us our time revolves around them! We enjoy it so much. I will watch dogs from multiple families at once as long as I feel they will all fit with the group. Aggressive dogs will likely not fit in well. I can keep small dogs who need their space separate, but it's a little more difficult with large dogs. I live near the Cottonwood Trail in Spartanburg, and love taking Peabody for walks there. I'm also not far from the Rail Tail Park if your dog enjoys time running free with others. Of course where we go and what we do is completely up to you and your pup to decide. Our backyard is fenced with room for your pup to run as well. I promise to look after and care for them as if they were my own family.

She cared for our dog Turner in her own home every day for four weeks while I was overseas visiting family and my husband was working, and the level of love, professionalism, and dedication she showed was extraordinary. Turner came into her care recovering from bronchitis, and thanks to Sarah’s 25 years of experience with dogs, she was incredibly vigilant and consistent with his medication and overall health. She kept us constantly updated and gave us so much peace of mind with clear communication and frequent photos. We always knew exactly how Turner was doing. About: I have had all types of dogs all my life and also took care of others pets for many years. Schnauzers [mini and giants], great Dane/lab, st Bernards, boxers, bird dogs, etc I'm use to them all! Right now I have a very mellow lab mix and 2 great cats and I have had guinea pigs, chickens, rats, Pac man frogs, hermit crabs, tegus, degus, ferrets, to name a few. So I'm use to a lot of different types of animals. I'm 5 11 and stocky so I know I can handle big dogs. I'm patient and understanding so troublesome dogs are okay with me! My goal while pet sitting is allowing your pet to feel comfortable around me and happy when I come back to see them! I work at a grooming salon in Mauldin part time and I usually work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Last thing is if school is closed, I generally have my gentle and caring 6 year old daughter with me. I've taught her to be easy with animals and not to be crazy around them. She's never been an issue before while pet sitting. Please message for any questions if you like :) Godspeed I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am usually available weekends and most weekdays. I generally take the dog outside as soon as I arrive and right before I leave. More if time allows. About: I moved to South Carolina 2 years ago from California, but I’ve lived all over the country. I love caring for animals and hope to soon own a farm full of them. I have a car that I don't mind allowing pets in if we decide to take a trip to the dog park or any other dog appropriate destinations. I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)! I currently work at a restaurant that’s closed on Mondays and opens at 11:30 the rest of the week, so I’m always available in the mornings. My schedule will change slightly week to week, but our schedules are put out two weeks in advance so I have plenty of time to plan and adjust for you and your pets needs. I have a large yard (grassy and wooded), an accommodating home and two friendly dogs. They would love to make some new friends, but are very good at keeping to themselves if necessary.

“Having just traveled across the country, we found ourselves staying with relatives for a time while we waited for our new apartment to be open for us. Our standard poodle, Ranger, was not understanding why we never seemed to be going home, and that was what he wanted most to do. We were very thankful that our relatives had been able to accommodate us, however, having Ranger in their home was not working well for them. So, we looked for a rover.com care person in the area to help us out for the days until we could move into our apartment. That’s where Dee came in. She was gracious and accommodating. She opened her home to Ranger for ten days, and made him welcome. In other boarding situations in the past, he was cared for, but he ALWAYS lost a considerable amount of weight. Not with Dee!! Dee gave Ranger all of the TLC he needed even during this time that was so uncertain for him. She got her hands right into his food and mixed his Fresh Pet food with his kibble so that every piece of kibble was coated with the tastier food. And it worked! Because even though he may have been missing us, he ate! And he didn’t lose any weight! We could tell she had gone the extra mile with him, and we are very grateful for the care she gave him. Five stars doesn’t even say enough for how happy we are with the care she gave our Ranger.”
