About: I work from home and have one adult dog - Bandit (70lbs). He is mellow, and readily give up toys and beds to newcomers, and has had great fun with new friends, here and at his sitter's house when I travel. Your dog will enjoy a large fenced yard with lots of room to run, dig, play fetch, chase squirrels, etc. With a morning walk in the neighborhood, then naps and playtime throughout the day, I will keep your high-energy dog entertained, and provide a calm and safe environment for resting. If your dog prefers to be in a kennel, I have one available (my dog does NOT like the kennel, at all, so I only offer it as a place for your dog to nest.) I will send tons of pictures (or just a few, if you prefer) while you are away, so you can be assured that your dog is happy and relaxed. I’m sorry, but we are not accepting Pitbulls/mixes at this time. I work from home and will be here to care your pet 100% of the time they are here, to ensure they are safe and relaxed. I start each day around 7am with a walk with Bandit, and your dog is welcome to join us for a good sniffing walk to kick things off. After we get back, Bandit eats his breakfast and usually relaxes inside, especially in the summer when he prefers the A/C. Midday, he may sun himself in the backyard for a bit, but most of the time he hangs out inside. While I’m working, the dogs settle around my desk, either watching out the window or napping, and they get treats throughout the day. When the weather is cooler, we spend time on the screened‑in porch enjoying the breeze and watching the birds and squirrels. Evenings are quiet and relaxed, and end with a nightly dental bone at bedtime, which is typically around 9pm.

Your pet will be treated like family here, animals are a huge part of my life. I have had almost every possible animal, horses, cows, cats, dogs, large and small, chickens, pigs, and even fish. I love them all. I do work 4 days during the week but am home the majority of the time to spend with your furrbabies. They will be let out in the morning before I leave for work on those days and immediately after I've arrived back home. I only work 8 hour days and outside of that I'm home the rest of the time. My yard is not fenced in but i live on a cul de sac, horse pasture and cow pasture and tree farm on 3 sides .. i prefer to walk dogs on a leash while outside ( just in case) but if they seem to be well behaved and trust worthy i may play fetch with them and my frenchie in the back yard , there are only 2 houses on my road so we do have lots of privacy. Your furrbabies will stay inside with me.

We have an eight -year-old 10 pound male Yorky & a two-year-old 90 pound male Bernese Mountain dog, both very loving. We have a big backyard with a fence. 2 1/2 acres of woods with trails to play in & for fun walks. My 4 kids even love dogs! Our dogs are like our kids. “This is our first experience boarding our girl. She has some pretty severe separation anxiety so we were obviously worried about leaving her. This was a test day of daycare just to see how she reacted. Joy and her daughters could not have been more accommodating and understanding. They took the time to meet with us to explain the property and the process prior to the daycare visit and the day of the visit went very well! She seemed to fit right in and even took a nap on one of the girls beds (a level of spoiling we only ever expected her to get at home)! We're now more than comfortable with the fact that she'll be right at home at Joy's during our upcoming trip!”

We have 5 cats, including two bonded pairs, and 2 with special needs. We have training experience for dogs as well. However, we have crate trained and support that as well! We also work well with cat backpacks and harness trained cats! Since we are a couple and I am a stay at home mom with a large car, your pets will be doted on and given any adventures you’re comfortable with. We even have doggy seatbelts! I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works from home part time, so we have ample time to take care of your fur babies. We have a fenced-in yard and 3 friendly dogs for your dogs to play with, as well as a screened-in deck (that is really a catio) and an upstairs screened-in catio for any feline guests. We also have an invisible fence for the front yard, to make sure everyone is safes We have ample space and time for supervised fun. In a client’s home, we like to stick to the routine to which an animal is most accustomed to in order to minimize disruptions and stress. That being said, we are more than willing to give ample enrichment via new park walks, frisbee throwing or training exercises. We are also skilled at grooming dogs and cats, including nail clippings, if that is an interest. We love to give cuddles and share our bed and couch, but we have crate trained before and will do whatever is best for your pet. Special dietary issues are no concern, as we already deal with daily in our home.

About: I've had animals my entire life! From nursing strays as a kiddo to now as an adult fostering, TNR work. Helping with rehomeing or adoptions. I am comfortable with the difficult situations and animals just as much as I am with the happy ones. I'm a RN by trade but only work 3 days a week (every weekend) during the week I am at home with my own fur babies and have plenty of time to share with your pets! I care for each pet differently as I do my patients in the hospital. Every animal is different and I base how I interact off of their specific needs. Every morning I wake up between 5 and 6 every day and begin feeding and caring for my pets at home. I feed and water 2-3 times daily. I do walks and play time and of course cuddles and pets. I will treat them as if they were my own fur babies, with love and compassion.
About: I have been a pet owner all of my life and there is a special joy and comfort that only a dog or cat can give us! I think it is important for our pets to get daily exercise to keep them happy and healthy. I'm an avid fitness enthusiast and I love all animals so getting your dog out of the house for daily walks is the perfect fit for both me and your furry friend! It's a great way for your dog to release that playful energy while strengthening their health as well. Playtime is also important in keeping our pets happy and friendly! Getting out and throwing balls, frisbees, sticks, etc is one of my favorite things to do with my own dogs and it's another great form of exercise for your pup! I'm currently volunteering part-time which allows me a more flexible schedule which in turn makes it easier to accommodate to the scheduling needs of my Rover clients!! Every one of our beloved pets are different with wonderful, unique personalities of their own! I always offer and recommend a meet and greet to get to know you & your fuzzy friends & vise versa...as well a to taylor each visit to your pet's unique individual needs! (Eg, important medical information, personality quirks or anxites, etc) My goal is to create a dream vacation experience for your furry loved one; Full of playful fun & exercise; cuddles & belly rubs; custom meal plans with your choice of treats & toys to their liking & potty breaks galore! I love & care for each of your furry family members as If they are my own, & as a pet parent myself, I know the importance of having peace of mind by trusting that they are safe and in good hands when you are away! It is my promise that by the end of every visit, walk, overnight stay, etc....that your pet will feel Happy, Healthy, Full, Loved, & worn out from Fun!!!!!
About: I have lived on a farm and owned pets my whole life! I love animals and I'm very accustomed to taking care of them. I also occasionally house-sit and pet-sit for close friends and family! I am currently a part time college student in Lynchburg and I only have a residential class one day a week. I do work part time as a server so some days I might have to take care of your pet until I go to work in the afternoon and then return in the evening. Dog/house sitting works better for me because I live on a farm with lots of other animals, which can make it tricky to keep other pets in the house.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9-10. I always take care of my family dogs when they go on vacation. I’m the best dog caregiver ever. I love all types of dogs, no task to hard. I have two sweet dogs I’m on a routine always, I currently do nails but that’s as a side job since I’m still in school online and It’s whatever hours i can log in I do have a fenced yard and also there’s a dog park at my house that me and my two fur baby’s love going outside to play and they will keep your fur baby company for sure they are the sweetest.

About: I work from home and have one adult dog - Bandit (70lbs). He is mellow, and readily give up toys and beds to newcomers, and has had great fun with new friends, here and at his sitter's house when I travel. Your dog will enjoy a large fenced yard with lots of room to run, dig, play fetch, chase squirrels, etc. With a morning walk in the neighborhood, then naps and playtime throughout the day, I will keep your high-energy dog entertained, and provide a calm and safe environment for resting. If your dog prefers to be in a kennel, I have one available (my dog does NOT like the kennel, at all, so I only offer it as a place for your dog to nest.) I will send tons of pictures (or just a few, if you prefer) while you are away, so you can be assured that your dog is happy and relaxed. I’m sorry, but we are not accepting Pitbulls/mixes at this time. I work from home and will be here to care your pet 100% of the time they are here, to ensure they are safe and relaxed. I start each day around 7am with a walk with Bandit, and your dog is welcome to join us for a good sniffing walk to kick things off. After we get back, Bandit eats his breakfast and usually relaxes inside, especially in the summer when he prefers the A/C. Midday, he may sun himself in the backyard for a bit, but most of the time he hangs out inside. While I’m working, the dogs settle around my desk, either watching out the window or napping, and they get treats throughout the day. When the weather is cooler, we spend time on the screened‑in porch enjoying the breeze and watching the birds and squirrels. Evenings are quiet and relaxed, and end with a nightly dental bone at bedtime, which is typically around 9pm.
