“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. We are glad to have found a trustworthy friend like Jen to care for our dog while we travel. We would strongly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens. I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types. We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

About: I have 25 years of experience as a pet sitter being self-dubbed the "overnight queen" as I specialize in overnight stays of any length. The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!

About: I've taken care of dogs (of various breeds) since I was in middle school. I have done short-term and long-term care both out of my house or going over to the owner's house. I am a very calm and reassuring person and have worked with both young and elder dogs. About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! Currently taking a break from work after my stroke and what better way to spend that down time than cuddling with your babies? My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.
About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.

About: We’ve had our puppy since he was 8 weeks old! We’ve potty trained him and taught him to do basic skills and to be very obedient. He could run outside and come back immediately when we call if he gets out. I am a stay at home mom. We have a 3 year old German shepherd that is low maintenance so plenty of time to help other furry friends. Also open to bringing him along for play dates, he is super friendly! We are working on a fence but for now either let our dog out the back yard to potty or play with our supervision or place him on the lead for short periods of time. About: I am a certified dog trainer in sc, I worked at the local petco for three and a half years as their senior dog trainer. I worked as a dog bather for 2 years. I can do nails if the dog is not aggressive. I worked at a local boarding, daycare, grooming, home visit, and dog walking facility for 2years as well. I also have vet tech training, so medication is not a problem. I currently have made this my full time job. My availability is pretty open, and I’m very flexible with my days and times. I live on a dirt road with very little traffic, so your babies are safe and will have lots of room and fun!!! When your babies are in the house, they are able to do just as you let them do at home. I do separate everyone when they are eating (that way there is no one eating someone else's food. Everyone comes in and sleeps at night. I also have an ADT system on my home so if I am out they are safely put in the house behind locked doors with an alarm system on. When they are outside, I have a camera on the fenced where the pups can be watched from my phone.

About: I have been caring for a variety of pets ranging from cats and dogs to rodents and horses since I was 12 years old. Since then I have fully trained my own dog to do basic tasks but also to “find” things (such as an inhaler for my mom) and stand with her back to my calves if we are in crowded areas. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.
