Now that our kids are old enough and understand how to care for and respect dogs we feel comfortable bringing kid friendly and potty trained dogs into our home. We’re all excited to love on your pup! About: I've had dogs my entire life and cared for pets of others as well through the years. My husband and I both work from home so we have availability to look after the pets of others daily. We have a dog a cat who get along with other pets. We have adopted puppies and young adult dogs and successfully trained them to be very good dogs. We have cared for senior dogs as well. In our home the pets can be wherever the humans are, including the furniture indoors and outside. I am self employed and work from home so my daily schedule is very open for pet sitting. My husband also works from home so there is always someone home to look after the pets and make sure their needs are being met. Our home is very dog friendly. Everywhere humans can be the dogs can be also. The backyard is fenced in and the gate is rarely ever opened. They can snooze on a cozy dog bed right next to my desk or look out the window. Afternoon: Play Breaks and Stretch Time • 12:00 PM: Lunch break! We head out to the big yard for 30 minutes of supervised play, sniffing, and sunshine. Afternoons/Evenings: 3:00 PM: A quick stretch and potty break. If a puppy needs a strict schedule or a senior dog needs frequent relief, this is when they get extra attention. Evening: Wind Down with added Hugs/Cuddling/Loving up on them! • 5:00 PM: Workday ends. We celebrate with dinner and a long, relaxing evening walk around the neighborhood. • 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Couch time. Dogs hang out with me in the living room for brushing, belly rubs, and plenty of love. • 10:30 PM: Final potty break in the fenced yard before a safe, peaceful bedtime. About: I became a dog owner in 2020 when I got my first French Bulldog, Hank McCoy, and I’ve been hands-on with caring for and training my dogs ever since. I’m not a professional dog trainer, but I’m comfortable reinforcing the commands, boundaries, and routines your dog already knows. I understand that consistency matters, especially when a dog is staying somewhere unfamiliar. My experience as a dog owner has also taught me how important it is to pay attention to a dog’s body language, personality, comfort level, and individual habits. I try to be patient and let each dog settle in at their own pace while giving them plenty of attention, structure, playtime, walks, and affection. I treat the dogs in my care the same way I’d want someone to treat mine; with patience, attention, and genuine care. Pet care already fits naturally into my everyday routine since I have a pup of my own. Walks, potty breaks, playtime and plenty of lounging around are already part of the schedule over here! I’m flexible and intentional about making time for the dogs in my care, and I’ll always do my best to stick to your pup’s normal feeding, walking and bedtime routine. I want their stay to feel like a little vacation too not like they’ve been dropped off at daycare. 🐾 I want every pup in my care to feel safe, comfortable and at home. I have a small dog of my own, so I like to learn about your dog’s personality and how they do around other dogs before their stay. We spend most of our time upstairs, so the space has a cozy, apartment-style feel where I can keep everyone close and supervised. We also have a fenced backyard with a working garden. Because of that, outdoor time is supervised rather than just opening the door and letting everyone loose. Your pup will still get plenty of potty breaks, walks, fresh air, playtime and attention. I’m also happy to follow the boundaries you use at home; whether that means crating, certain sleeping arrangements, feeding separately, or keeping up with specific commands and routines. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable and for your dog to leave wondering when they get to come back. 😂❤️
About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 10 years old. I have a Maltese, a Jack Russell, and a Pit Bull. All three of them are seniors, and I make sure they are comfortable and adjusting to aging. I am also well-versed in puppy care and have taken care of dogs of all ages, kept them entertained, and made sure they were happy. I am currently an online English tutor, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your babies. My weeks are structured, but I have flexibility. I make sure my pets are safely secured on their leashes before every walk. That they have what they need: water, treats, and doggie bags for cleanup. Making sure there are no electrical cords or anything else they could chew on. Double-checking they have food and water and are comfortable.
About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.
About: I grew up around pets my as a child and have owned dogs for 32 years of all sizes and types. I have always been the go to person for everyone to care for their pets and i love it. I have no problem feeding, bathing, training or walking your pet as if it were my own. Our pets are our children as well and we need to care for them the best way we can. I am self employed and work my own schedule so I can care for your pet Friday -Tuesdays 9am-3pm. Different days or later hours can be arranged with at least a weeks notice. I have a fenced yard and can Kennel the dog if needed but for the most part I prefer for them to get a feel of my home and my rules.
