“Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! Currently taking a break from work after my stroke and what better way to spend that down time than cuddling with your babies? My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! With dogs and cats, I try to provide them with as much mental stimulation that I can (and maybe a few treats).

One of my pups is a bit of a grumpy gentleman, so he has his own peaceful space to relax in, away from the action. I provide a spacious shop building for them to sleep in, with plenty of room for crates of all sizes. The space features concrete floors for easy cleaning, excellent airflow, and multiple fans to keep it cool and well-ventilated. The temperature stays comfortably cool, even during warmer days. For added peace of mind, the area is monitored with a security camera, and I personally do a nightly walk-through to check on each pet and make sure they’re safe and settled for the night. I’m home full-time, so your pet will never be short on supervision, attention, or affection. Whether they’re seeking playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and caring presence, I’m here to provide the love and companionship they deserve.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 8. I had dogs, cats, reptiles and guinea pigs. I work for a vet clinic and is certified. I do have another job so I will be doing this part time after classes. I will accept people as my work schedule shows me what days I work. I do have a fenced in yard but I have a small Chiweenie who is still afraid of other dogs. But I can take your baby on a walk down at the Pelion park or peach tree rock. “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”
