Meep can tend to be nervous and anxious when I get home after an absence, but with Melissa taking care of her, this was the calmest I have ever seen her. About: I've had dogs my entire life and cared for pets of others as well through the years. My husband and I both work from home so we have availability to look after the pets of others daily. We have a dog a cat who get along with other pets. We have adopted puppies and young adult dogs and successfully trained them to be very good dogs. We have cared for senior dogs as well. In our home the pets can be wherever the humans are, including the furniture indoors and outside. I am self employed and work from home so my daily schedule is very open for pet sitting. My husband also works from home so there is always someone home to look after the pets and make sure their needs are being met. Our home is very dog friendly. Everywhere humans can be the dogs can be also. The backyard is fenced in and the gate is rarely ever opened. We have cameras everywhere so we always have a visual of what's going on inside and outside in the yard. If needed we have a baby gate to section off areas for pets.
“Karen was amazing with my two pups. I was worried about dropping off my pup, Kobe, since he can be afraid of strangers and has separation anxiety. He took to Karen immediately and didn’t even bark when we left. He seemed to make himself at home right away. Karen kept us updated with pics throughout the day, and Kobe had such a wonderful time that he didn’t even really notice when we came to pick him up. I’d definitely hire Karen again the next time we’re in town!”
