“Lexie was amazing with our girls! She provided us with picture and video updates while we were on our trip. The property is amazing and a way better experience than a commercial dog boarding center. Our dogs seemed sad to leave her!”

“Therio and family were great with my girl! They took her on walks updated pics with me and spoiled her! Even Apollo enjoyed her company. Thanks for keeping Olivia last minute.”

“Very friendly, lots of pics and updates, and most important... They were patient with my spoiled mutt. They were just as friendly as they were professional. Definitely recommend them in high esteem.”

“The visit went extremely well. She sent me pictures and videos of Max daily. He was very happy with Niagara. I definitely would recommend her and use her myself again”

“This is my first time using a private sitter & it went okay. My dog Kobe is adjusting to being home, I’m military & Aiko was very patient with him despite his not so great behavior towards others dogs. She kept me updated with detailed information about his behavior along with pictures for the weekend stay. She gave my dog the attention he needed & let me know what she thought would be best for him moving forward. You should definitely book her if you need a dog sitter.”
“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
“We enjoyed the pictures we got of our dog’s stay. The communication was awesome! Our dog is still tired! We felt like he was in great hands and would gladly choose Whitney and her husband to watch our dog again!”

“Nontombe was excellent!! She was super communicative and responsive, flexible, and kept such good care of Guava! I will definitely be coming back next time I am in the area. Thank you so much, again!!”

“Jenny took great care of my old puppy. She gave updates a few times a day with pictures, gave him his medicine 3 times a day and redressed a small injury on his paw. Thank you!”

“The care received by Nicole to my 2 cats was exceptional. I was able to be away and have the comfort of knowing my cats were very well cared for during my absence. I will 100% use the excellent service of Nicole in future visits to care for my 2 fur babies. Thank you!”

“Cory & Stacey were Great! They treated our cats as if they were their own. Their daily comments reflected the careful attention they paid to them. And the pictures taken always helped to reassure us that the cats were in great hands. We will definitely ask for them the next time we need them!”

“Jada was able to help us with our cats on short notice and did an awesome job. Based on the pictures she sent us, even the skittish cat we have took a liking to her!”

“I hired Shannon after the sitter cancelled a week before I was leaving. Shannon was punctual which eased my worries. She looked after my 2 cats and also took the trash in. Appreciated the photos she sent.”

“Jade, did a phenominal job watching my three babies (cats). I had a last minute travel issue come up, and I needed to find someone to care for my three cats while I was gone. I had to book last minute, and did not have time to do a meet and greet. This was my first time using Rover, and I selected Jade based on her excellent reviews. My cats are my babies, and I have hired friends and neighbors in the past to care for them when we were gone, only to be frustrated upon return to see that the little I asked them to do, was done very poorly. Due to the last minute booking I was only able to communicate with Jade via messages, but she immediately reassured me that she would make sure our babies were well taken care of. We are in the process of selling our home, so I needed someone who would provide loving care to our cats as well as making sure they didn't track in dirt, and kept things as clean as possible when stopping to care for the cats. Jade went above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough. My cats are terrified of anyone outside of our family, and because we have realtors showing our home right now, there are a lot of new people coming in and out, which is causing a lot of anxiety to the cats. I asked Jade to ring the doorbell and wait 30 seconds to allow the cats to get to their safe place and hide, to help keep their anxiety down. She did this everytime without hesitation. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, as well as the area around the boxes, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we are moving out of state and I will not be able to use Jade's services in the future. However, if you are seeking someone to care for your animals in a loving way, and a way you would care for your animals...I would highly recommend hiring Jade. Thank you Jade for the love and care you provided to our babies while we were away. We appreciate it more than you could possibly know.”

About: I’ve been passionate about caring for dogs and cats since I was a teenager. Growing up, I frequently pet sat for family members and close family friends, building a strong foundation in understanding pets’ individual needs and personalities. Over the years, I’ve gained professional experience working at several doggy daycares, where I managed groups of dogs, ensured their safety and comfort, and helped them enjoy playtime and socialization. I’ve also provided in-home pet sitting for multiple clients over the past few years, handling everything from daily feedings, walks, and medication administration to play, cuddles, and lots of love. I truly enjoy forming bonds with each pet and giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet sitting is my full-time profession, which means I offer flexible and open availability to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s needs. Whether you require drop-in visits or daily walks I’m here to provide reliable support—often with little notice. Your peace of mind and your pet’s happiness are my top priorities! When caring for pets in your home, my top priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while maintaining your home exactly as you left it. Upon arrival, I follow your detailed instructions to the letter—feeding schedules, medication administration, walking routes, play preferences, and any special routines. I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection tailored to your pet’s personality and energy level, whether that’s energetic fetch sessions, gentle cuddles, or quiet companionship. I send regular updates with photos and/or videos so you can see your pet is happy and relaxed. I also keep an eye on your pet’s health and behavior, and I’m prepared to contact you or an emergency vet if anything seems off. For your home, I’m respectful and tidy: I secure doors and windows, bring in mail/packages if requested, water plants, take out trash, and leave everything clean and organized. My goal is for you to return to a happy pet and a home that feels untouched—giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Emily was the perfect person to sit with our kitty. She was loving, attentive and completely spoiled our cat. She followed directions thoroughly, and we received updates and pictures multiple times a day. We could not have asked for a better person.”

“Hannah is always so amazing and caring with our cats. She takes so many photos which we are always so happy to get. She is very detailed with her check-ins, which helps me trust that our cats are okay while we’re gone!”

“Heidi did a fantastic job while my husband and I were out of town. My kitties were happy and fed. I got daily pictures of them. I will be using Heidi in the future and recommend her to anyone on Rover.”

“Somiya maintained wonderful communication with me during the visit! We had a new kitten that needed special care and monitoring and she did a such an amazing job! I would recommend her services to anyone I know!🥰”

“Nour is a gem! She is an experienced cat caregiver, but we feel very comfortable having her look after our dogs, too! She sent us wonderful pictures of our kitties during her recent drop-ins. Even our most shy cat came out to play while she was here, which really impressed us. We feel very fortunate to have found Nour, and so relieved that we have found someone so professional and caring to look after our kiddos while we are away!”

“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“Nicole and Telly are AMAZING!!!! They have helped me and my dogs through an incredibly stressful transition moving across country. They treat my dogs like part of the family! My girls look forward to spending their day with them and their dog Apollo. The dogs wrestle together, bask in the sunshine, roll in the yard and go on long walks. When I pick them up they are POOPED and sleep the whole 20 min back to the Airbnb that we are currently staying in. This is so helpful for one of my dogs who has massive anxiety issues, because she’s too tired to stress about all of the changes we’re going through. Nicole, Telly and their kids truly love animals and are fabulous caregivers! I feel so fortunate to have found them!🙏🏻”

“Teia had a great time and came home ready for a nap. Lyndsay sent beautiful pictures which we will treasure. And really appreciate her flexibility and agreeing to our last minute request for daycare. See you soon!”

“Margie took awesome care of our puppy, Jasper. He has separation anxiety, but he was happy to stay with Margie, and when we returned to pick him up, he was glad to see us but was running back to Margie as well, clearly content to be with her too. The backyard is great for small dogs to be safe and play, and the house is very clean. I am very glad to have found Margie since Jasper is not happy staying home alone. He is looking forward to his next stay!”

“Omgosh! Michelle was our hero the weekend of my nephews wedding! Newly relocated to the Charleston area, we knew no one to watch our pup while we went to Savannah for the wedding. We found Michelle in Savannah, and she was wonderful!! So sweet and loving to our 10year old poodle bichon, and he seemed to be comfortable with her and her place right away. If you're looking for the perfect dog sitter, look no further, Michelle is your gal.”

She is always timely and let’s me know well ahead of time if we need to make any changes to the schedule. About: About Me: I grew up in a animal-loving home. My mom worked at a vet and I spent my days with her. I’ve always been around animals. When I turned 16, I started working at the same vet my mom worked at as a veterinarian assistant. I took care of the animals in the kennel and assisted the veterinarians. My family moved to the Columbia area and I’m looking to continue my work with animals. My experience allows me to give your pets the best experience while your away. I know how to give medication properly even with pets who struggle with it (including insulin shots). I am not afraid of messy situations; trust me have cleaned up worst. I love all pets including seniors or pets with disabilities and strive to give every pet the best care possible. Services: I’m not available Monday-Friday 4 pm to 11 pm due to my other job, however I’m able to care of your fur babies within the hours I’m free. I do ask that you schedule me at least 1 day in advance in order to prepare for services. Please let me know 3 days before if you need to cancel. Of course, I do know emergencies come up so I’m willing to work with you. I will love to meet you and your fur babies in a pre-visit before any services so we can make sure we are a good fit for each other and learn everything I need in order to give you to pet the best care (ex: daily routines, likes and dislikes, etc).
About: Am i a crazy cat lady? Maybe. Do I want to pet all the puppers? Possibly. I have had cats and dogs my entire life, many adopted strays, ferals, and fosters (cats and dogs). My current clowder consists of four cats. I am pretty flexible and typically available to care for your pets while you are at the office, out for the evening, or enjoying a weekend getaway. Having recently moved to South Carolina my four cats are in my home out of state with family until I buy a house here. I miss my furry companions and look forward to befriending yours. A little about some of recent challenges I've worked through with my pets: While I only have my four cats currently, I recently had a fifth cat and beagle cross the rainbow bridge. Both were adoptions who came to me with health issues. I got Maggie, my beagle, when she was eight. She had a tumor which caused seizures but lived another 7 happy years with me. Garfield, my cat, was five and came to me with an inoperable hernia, blood disorder, and weighing 25lbs! He was a big boy, but I worked to get him down to a healthy weight of 18 pounds and lived to be 11. Of the four cats I have currently, two were ferals and two were strays. It has taken a lot of work and patience, but all four are docile and fairly trusting of humans.
About: I love all animals! I am a graduate student and have lots of experience taking care of dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. I believe it is important for a caregiver to not only have the love for pets, but to have the ability to love each pet as their own. It is my priority to go above and beyond to ensure that they remain happy and healthy. I am mainly looking to spend time throughout the day walking dogs, taking them to the park, and/or feeding and taking care of them as needed. Some days are busier than others and it feels as if there aren't enough hours in a day to give your pets the love they need. I am more than happy to help with whatever you need when it comes to your furry friends! I just moved to this area and have some free time until my new job starts. I am very communicative when it comes to scheduling and flexibility! I have a fenced in yard and 3 very friendly dogs that I have had experience with for over 10 years. I enjoy walks, car rides, and ice cream dates depending on your preference for your pet

Thank you!”

“Our baby girl is always so happy to visit Sally. It’s like her home away from home. I can always enjoy my time away with the knowledge that Ginger is getting the best care. ❤️”

“Benny was very hyper and a handful. Ginny did a wonderful job getting him to relax and being comfortable outside the crate. She gave me some insight on a no pull collar that will help tremendously. My pet was in good hands, she kept.me updated with text and photos. Very, very please with her care she provided.”

“Assatta was amazing I am so grateful for her! She treated my dog like her own and that's all I ask for. She made sure to keep me updated with videos and pictures. I will definitely be booking again!”

“My dogs stayed with Lyndsay over a weekend and had a wonderful time. She made sure to send photo updates throughout the weekend and was very responsive to any questions I had. She responded very quickly to my inquiry and was very flexible for drop-off and pick-up times. She was also flexible with allowing the dogs on furniture and in/on the bed. I would definitely recommend Lyndsay for dog boarding and intend on boarding with her in the future.”
