About: I have taken care of my own personal dog since I was 8 years old, I bought her with my birthday money and she has been my best friend ever since. I’ve always had a love for animals and have dog sat a lot more in the recent years. I also have a cat I adopted several years ago that lives with me. I have experience administering medications and working with senior dogs, puppies, kittens etc. I also worked in a doggy daycare and got a lot of experience working there. I work from home, so my weekly schedule is very open and flexible. I’m able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs. Whatever you need or want me to do no matter how absurd you think it seems, I do not mind doing it if it helps your fur baby feel at home. I want your fur babies to feel comfortable with me and I want you to feel comfortable too.

About: Hi there! My name is Jess. I have two dogs (Cruiser & Cece) and am looking to care for other dogs at my home! I’ve always been a dog person, growing up several from a young age. I am at home and my husband travels and/or works from home. This gives me the ability to ensure your pet feels loved and welcomed! My dogs are my top priority and I'm sure yours are as well! Given that I am home most of the time - I/we have the ability to ensure your pet feels loved and welcomed! I am also flexible with my availability to best accommodate your needs. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should accommodate. We want your pet to feel comfortable and at home and we will keep as close to their normal, familiar routine as we can! Please have up to date vaccination records I have a fenced in yard and pool. Our dogs are allowed on our furniture and sleep in the bed. Cruiser tends to hang back and Cece dives right in!

My background includes working in both veterinary and pet insurance settings, so I’m very comfortable handling pets with all types of medical needs and administering medications safely and correctly (oral, topical, injectable, and more). I work from home full-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. For boarding, that means I’m able to give them as much or as little attention as they want. While we do have other animals in the home, I am able to provide a private place for your pet if needed, and typically do dedicate one private space for any cat boarders. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can also easily fit in drop-in visits before or after work, ensuring pets get reliable care and consistent routines. Pet care naturally fits into my day because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. All animals must be dog and cat friendly. If you're boarding a cat, they will NOT have access to our cat since they're a bit more difficult to socialize. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment where the animal can feel safe and relaxed. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible regarding feeding times, litter maintenance, playtime, and quiet time! I also make sure they get the right balance of attention and independence based on their personality. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and routines with the same respect and care I would my own. I pay close attention to any specific instructions for feeding, medications, or enrichment, and always take time to make pets feel loved and secure while their people are away. About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!
