We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

Honestly, I prefer animals to most people so me and your fur baby are going to have a great time hanging out while you are gone. I commute into downtown Columbia for work but live in Prosperity. I've never met an animal that I didn't love... I've cared for cats, dogs, rats, frogs, fish, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, chickens, ducks and other birds for many years and I enjoy all types and breeds. I volunteer with kitten rescue and have experience with advanced care such as medications, injections, IV fluids. In the past I have been efficient with communication and detail to owners when they are away because I know how difficult it can be to leave your furbaby at home and put your trust in a pet sitter. About: I have owned dogs, cats horses, goats, donkeys my whole life. Have cared for sick animals. And I have done most of my own shots, antibiotics, wound care. I work part time Monday though thur. But my job is flexible. If I house sat I would not work, If it was more then 20 miles away. I try to find out as much as I can about the pet, then do my best to keep them on schedule. So they feel less anxious about a new person in there space.

Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.

About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats. I now own two cats of my own and they are my world. I am certified in animal care through the CAT Center. There I learned to groom and care for many different kinds of animals. I am home for the summer trying to make some money before I move to florida for school. My schedule is pretty much completely open. At home my cats eat at 8am and 8pm I go back and forth between dry and wet food. I clean the litter once a day and completely change it once a week. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!

“Dianna was amazing! We had to travel on short notice to a funeral. She was wonderful to my girl Ruby. Her setup in nice, right next to her home. It's air-conditioned and my girl got to play with other dogs while supervised + lots of attention. Well taken care of.... she even warmed up my dog's home cooked food, which is going above and beyond. We also got pictures every day. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you, Dianna!”
