“Oralee always takes such good care of my dogs. It’s a good feeling when you can go away and know that your dogs are being loved and playing with their doggy friends and that they are having so much fun. I love the pictures she sends daily. They help the kids not miss them so much. I highly recommend Oralee. I’m so grateful I found her.”

“Lexi’s was a FANTASTIC sitter with Mazzy. She offers a well organized and safe option for boarding your fur baby. She sent videos of my Mazzy playing with other dogs in her spacious backyard and training one on one and with other dogs. Opportunities that I can’t with just one dog. My energetic Aussie slept like a baby after I picked her up. I will definitely book her again if she will have us. Much appreciated the care, Lexie!”

“Whitney is wonderful! I booked a last minute boarding, and I have nothing but great things to say!!! Highly recommend! We will definitely be using her again in the future!❤️”

“This is my first time using a private sitter & it went okay. My dog Kobe is adjusting to being home, I’m military & Aiko was very patient with him despite his not so great behavior towards others dogs. She kept me updated with detailed information about his behavior along with pictures for the weekend stay. She gave my dog the attention he needed & let me know what she thought would be best for him moving forward. You should definitely book her if you need a dog sitter.”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“Kathy took excellent care of our 2 dogs over the holiday weekend! They got lots of playtime and outside time, and they were both nice and tired by the time we picked them up! She sent a couple of pictures and a couple of updates. Just enough to let us know our dogs were doing well. One of my dogs is older with some arthritis, and she made sure he got all of his medicines and had a safe space to rest when he got tired out. Would definitely recommend!”

“She was the best!! My baby loved her and she sent plenty of pics. He came back with all his stuff and litter box cleaned!! Rates are affordable and communication is Top tier. Will book again”

I will definitely use Nontombe again!! 10 out of 10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! She’s the best…..literally!!”

“Shannon was wonderful with our newly adopted dog. She was quick to respond to texts, kept us updated regularly, and was incredibly patient with him as he adjusted. Since he recently came from foster care, earning his trust is important, and Shannon was so gentle and understanding with him. We truly appreciated the care and kindness she showed and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Kayla was so sweet and attentive to my 10 yr old shih tzu Taco. He had recently injured his leg and was awaiting a surgical consult. So, she was careful with his activity level. She also gave his seizure medication 3 times a day. He looked happy and well cared for in all the photo updates she sent me.”

“What a caring and warm home for Blue to be in while I traveled out of state. Michael and his family met me for a meet and greet which made me very comfortable to leave my Standard Poodle with them. “This is the first time I have used Rover and 5 stars is not enough for the great care Nicole gave Toby! She did an excellent job communicating from our first visit to the duration of our trip out of town. Loved the pictures and the updates. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her services.”

About: I have had cats all my life. I love caring for them and watching them warm up to new people. They don't trust easy like dogs so winning over a cat's affections is always heartwarming. I have experience with giving medication, cleaning litter boxes and more.
“Our dogs, Sammy and Bentley loved Jennifer P! They had a wonderful time together on the drop in visits. She came at the requested times, took care of them, gave a report and pics after each visit. Great job! We felt confident being out of town with Jennifer caring for our dogs . thank you!!”

“Somiya maintained wonderful communication with me during the visit! We had a new kitten that needed special care and monitoring and she did a such an amazing job! I would recommend her services to anyone I know!🥰”

“Heidi did a fantastic job while my husband and I were out of town. My kitties were happy and fed. I got daily pictures of them. I will be using Heidi in the future and recommend her to anyone on Rover.”

“Kristin is awesome! I booked check ins for Christmas day and the morning after. I'm so happy she could check on my two cats. She had mentioned to me at the meet and greet that this was her busiest Christmas week yet with a lot of bookings. I have worked in retail for a few years now and Christmas week can be so overwhelming, especially with now that I travel for family while having pets at home. I am so appreciative that she was able to show them care and attention even with one of the craziest weeks of the year. I had booked her in advance but even then I was worried and anxious about this. My job had me scheduled christmas eve, and then I was taking a midnight train to Florida that night. Plus this would be the first night that my cats were alone together without me. I'm just so happy that Kristin could check on them, they were happy and comfortable seeing her while I was gone. I am really thankful for her and she's a great sitter.”

“Molly was absolutely wonderful and took such good care of my cat, Nacho, while I was away! She sent me pictures daily which was so nice 😊 Would definitely have her watch Nacho again!”

“Moe watched our kitties over new years weekend and was absolutely wonderful! Very attentive and made sure to spend time playing with them. Would definitely book again.”

“Qais did such an awesome job taking care of my 2 kitties on short notice. His communication with us was excellent, and he sent pictures of my babies while they were in his care. I will definitely rebook with him when the need arises!”

About: I own 2 cats, Maverick and Goose! I found Maverick at 6 weeks old, so I have experience with kittens who need medication and extra attention. I adopted Goose, so I understand the temperament with rescue kitties, as well as the shyness and/or vulnerability they feel around new people.

“Deborah was great with our dogs! She has such a kind, calm demeanor and connected right away with our dogs. She was punctual, sent lots of pictures, & provided thorough updates. I would definitely recommend her and we will be booking with her again!”

“Emma did a great job. Emma is very kind, she showed up on time and looked after my cat's Thor and Dena exactly as I asked her too. She made sure they always had food, water, a clean box and all of their needs were met. She texted me every day exactly when she was going to check on them and sent me pictures/videos of them so I could see how they were doing each day. If you need someone to watch your pets, I cannot recommend Emma highly enough.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Sandy Run
“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“Qais took great care of our dog, Broski, while we were away. Communication was clear and consistent, which gave us peace of mind. Pictures and videos were a plus! It was obvious Broski was comfortable and well looked after the entire time. We truly appreciate the care and attention Qais gave and would absolutely book again.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and began pet sitting for neighbors and family friends around the age of 10. I’ve had a dog of my own for about 6 years now who gets along very well with other dogs and cats. Happy to care for pets of any age and willing to administer medications or provide other special needs to pets if needed. I have a lot of free time in the next couple of months as I am waiting to start a job a few months from now. I will have plenty of time to drop in to check on pets, regular walks, and boarding! I have a very friendly dog that gets along well with cats and dogs alike. I am happy to welcome your pet into my home or come to your home to care for your fur babies too.

“Morgan was great! My dog had a fun time hanging out with her and some other dogs for the day! She was super helpful and reassuring (it was my first time using Rover or leaving my dog with anyone other than family). Will be using her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Sierra! I’ve been around animals my whole life. I have over 10 years of experience in pet care services, and I’m passionate about providing loving and reliable care for your furry friends. I also have a 7 year old dog named Karson who’s super friendly and loves meeting new friends! I work from 8 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and have open availability on weekends. On weekdays, I come home during my break to let the dogs out and give them some love. Every day after work, the first thing we do is head outside to play in the yard! I have a pet-friendly house with a privacy fence, so your pet has plenty of space to play and relax safely. I’ll be giving them lots of love and care. I have an extra-large crate available if your dog needs one for any reason.
“They are absolutely great! We are doing the day care, and the first night Comet (my super SUPER high energy dog) came home tired! He had all day to play and run around. They have a great space for the dogs. Highly recommend! They sent me updates and kept me informed as well.”

“Caroline was a gem we are so thankful we were able to find her with such short notice since we were in town for my brothers army graduation and glad she was able to work with us and our fur baby. We can tell Toby( our fur baby) just had an amazing time with her and the other pups she was very appreciative to him and updated us throughout his day. Will definitely be booking with her again if we come back into town.”

“Gloria was a lifesaver! We needed a last minute dogsitter and she and her family took excellent care of our pup. She was very thorough in the care even for watching him for a short time. I highly recommend her!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — caring for them isn’t just something I do, it’s something I love. I’ve shared my life with so many kinds of creatures over the years: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, and even a bearded dragon. Each one has taught me something about presence, trust, and unconditional love. I have a calm, confident energy that helps animals feel safe and seen. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, and those who need medication or special care. I’ve been doing this for over twenty years, and I bring both deep experience and genuine heart to every animal I meet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy daycare — everything except overnight stays in my home. Whether your pet needs a peaceful companion, an attentive caregiver, or someone who simply gets them, I’ll show up with gentleness, reliability, and real love. As a stay-at-home potter, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent, loving care. I can provide morning and afternoon visits for walks, meals, and play, as well as in-home care during longer stretches while I manage my creative work. Weekends or flexible blocks allow for longer walks, extra playtime, or special needs care. My schedule lets me meet pets’ needs while keeping a calm, attentive presence. I know what it’s like to love your pets like family — I’ve had animals in my life my whole life, and I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with them. That’s why I bring calm, confident energy and treat every pet as if they were my own. I love caring for pets right in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. Being in a familiar space helps them stay relaxed, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages — from playful puppies to seniors — and with pets who need medication or special care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. I also keep your home cared for, so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.
“Highly recommended! She kept me updated with Nina most of the day & she sent me pictures of her throughout the day. Great communication and very professional. Me and Nina appreciate you”

About: Background/experience in veterinary medicine. I am very comfortable with giving medication, taking care of special needs/senior pets. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I currently own my own equine business which means I set my own hours. I am a very active person so including other animal duties into my daily life is not difficult. I treat each pet as if they were my own. I would do everything I could to keep them comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. Even if that means sitting on the floor while they take a nap so they don't feel alone.
About: Im staying in South Carolina more now, so I’m back to being available. I mostly stay home building a homestead, so I have some spare time. Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. I pay very close attention to the slightest changes in a pets mood and can be very reactive in an emergency situation, if it occurs. I am responsible on walks, I will keep your baby safe and not allow others to interfere with them. I will respect your rules and training that you have for your pet in your home and outside environment.
About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories go back to when I was around 2 or 3 years old petting the two cats we had under the dining room table. Later on my family got 4 of the 5 we still have today. I can't imagine life without them. I've had several dogs over the years. Winston, Sticks, and now Scooby & Nevill. My pets are family to me and when I take care of others' pets I treat them with the same respect. I've pet sat off and on for the past few years and I take the well-being of animals very seriously. I have watched over small dogs (pomeranians) and cats. However, I also feel comfortable taking care of larger dogs I have owned and befriended dogs of larger stature/strength in the past. (I had a Black Lab, my sister had a Saint Bernard, and my brother an ~90lb Pit Bull who I was very close with.) Overall the point is that I am very fond of animals and have been taking care of them my whole life. I have a deep love and respect for our furry friends. I am confident in my abilities to provide for their needs.

About: I’ve owned animals since a young child and love them! I am first aid and CPR certified and dedicated to providing safety and comfort to any animals I visit. I love animals and your pets are safe with me! I work flexible hours and can easily handle any requests! I can accommodate most anything you or your pets would need. I am centrally located and efficient as well. I have a fenced yard and one dog that is used to others. My home is a safe space for animals. My yard is safe, clean and a great space to run and play in.

“Somiya was very proactive and reached out to meet my dog beforehand so that she would know how to best take care of her. I also loved the follow up pictures and notes on how my doggie behaved. I definitely recommend Somiya if you are looking for someone to go above and beyond for your pets needs!”

About: I’ve grown up around all types of animals, not just cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of my own cat and dog for most of my life and will do anything to give them the love and care all animals need. I’m currently a full time student at the University of South Carolina. I love being a student but I also wanted to look into doing something on the side but that’s also fun. I think it’s always extremely important to be respectful of peoples homes. It’s a personal space where people are meant to feel relaxed and be themselves. Respecting my clients home would be top priority along with the care of their pet(s).
About: I have a Pekingese who is almost 20 years old and a Great Dane that is almost 9! Let me love your animals like they are my own ❤️ I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I will send all the pictures/videos you want of your furbaby(s). Work entirely remote and am home with my babies all day. I am entirely flexible to meet the needs of any client circumstance. About: Hey there, my name is Allan! I grew up in Connecticut but have been living in South Carolina for about 16 years now. I have loved animals all of my life and have experience working with all types of animals, from domestics such as dogs and cats to more exotic such as snakes and rabbits. I also had the opportunity to work with native wildlife such as songbirds and small mammals! I am currently working at an animal hospital and emergency hospital as well as pursuing an associate degree in veterinary technology so I can become a licensed veterinary technician. I have experience and am comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs. It would be an honor and a privilege to meet and care for your furbabies. I will be available at around lunch time and after 5pm during the week. I’m pretty flexible on the weekends so let’s discuss your needs I treat every animal the way I would want my pet to be treated : with compassion, kindness, and respect. Your pet will be safe with me.
About: I love pets because they all have different personalities like us. We get to know them and who they are while they get to know us. I am a senior in high school who loves pets and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my free time than being with animals. I have my own toy poodle named Cody at home and we go for walks everyday. We love to take runs after I get off of school and come back for a nice lunch with some rest. While I take care of others dogs, I ensure they have clean water and food bowls, that they get fresh air, and enough time to use the bathroom. I think it’s important for dogs to be outside and active (especially if they’re as hyper as my dog), so walking, running, or even sitting outside is my favorite thing to do.
About: I have been around pets all my life. Volunteered as a foster mom for the humane society and took home pets that needed medication given to them. Been around active dogs like Dalmatians and Australian Shepherds as well as older, docile dogs. Did puppy training classes when I raised my Australian shepherd. I work full time so if you request a booking with me I may send you back a message with the hours I work during that time frame. I've also lowered my rates below Rovers "suggested" numbers and made it to where you can "potentially" book me last minute (If my schedule works for you, obviously). I would love to be that sitter that is helping out someone who maybe had a sitter cancel at the last minute or you had an unexpected event happen and didn't really have it in the budget to hire a pet sitter on top of everything else. Or you are just a frugal gal/guy like me and don't think it should break the bank to hire someone to watch your fur children 😊 I can crate your pets when needed, take them on walks, can administer medications if needed. I work well with lists or rules set out to follow for your pets best care in your home.

He had lots of activities and other pups to interact with during his stay. We are returning next week again! I highly recommend Michael”

“We use Assatta often when we head out of town. She sends constant updates, is extremely accommodating, and takes wonderful care of our dog! If you looking for someone to trust with your dog Assatta is who you need!”

“When our dog sitter canceled the day before we were to leave, Someone recommended Rover. I was hesitant, but I found Sabastian and was happy with his bio. He responded immediately and agreed to get our dog the next day. I am so thankful to them. He and his family took such good care of our baby. He sent us pictures throughout the stay and reassured everything was great and our dog was enjoying thier dogs. Our dog was well taken care of and healthy and happy when we picked him up. Sabastian was very welcoming and kind to us and our dog and I am so thankful that we found him. We will definitely use him again.”

“Merrell was the perfect sitter for my dog. In every picture I could tell that my pup was having the time of her life! Guess I'll have to plan more trips so my pup can keep going on "vacation" to Merrell! ?”

“Sally was a stellar sitter! She watched our dog for 5 days and she sent great updates and photos. Our dog had a good time and got along with Sally and being socialized with another dog. Definitely recommend booking with her!”

“Oakley always enjoys his time staying with Janece & Matt!! Always very well taken care of 😊 we would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”
