About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. About: Im staying in South Carolina more now, so I’m back to being available. I mostly stay home building a homestead, so I have some spare time. Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. About: i have had four years experience working with dogs, including boarding and daycare services, as well as Rescue. this does include dogs who need medicine or special care as well. i deal with many different breeds, and sizes of dogs every day. I grew up with dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for them and know that every pet is different. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable while you’re away.
“Martina took such good care of my fur baby, Murray. Her communication was excellent, she regularly sent me pictures and updates. Murray had some separation anxiety and I did come pick him up a day early. But he was sad to leave and started whining when I put my car in reverse to back out of the driveway. We accidentally left behind his water bowl and a toy, when we returned to pick up our forgotten items he ran out of my car, up onto the porch and sat at Martina's front door. He loved staying with Martina and playing with her son”

“Qais did an outstanding job caring for my senior dog, Sly. At 16 years old, Sly is a sweet, reserved, go-with-the-flow gentleman who prefers naps, treats, and taking life at a slower pace. Like many geriatric dogs, Sly has a few age-related challenges and requires a little extra patience, attention, and understanding. From the moment I met him, I felt comfortable leaving my dog in his care. Throughout the stay, my dog was well fed, comfortable, and given plenty of affection. I especially appreciated the communication. Regular pictures and videos gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was reassuring to see Sly relaxed, comfortable, and clearly being well cared for. I had a few last-minute changes to my boarding request and ended up being a little late both dropping Sly off and picking him up. Despite the inconvenience, he was understanding and accommodating. His flexibility and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The environment was warm, welcoming, and stress-free, exactly what an older dog needs. It was clear that Sly was being treated like a member of the family rather than simply being boarded. I would not hesitate to recommend Qais to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. Caring for a senior dog can require extra effort, and he handled it with kindness and genuine care. I will certainly reach out again whenever I need accommodations for my dog.”
